“When COVID misinformation spreads, Tiffany Dover
isn’t the only victim.” What that bit of broken English seems to mean is that
Tiffany Dover is alive, like
every other “victim” of “COVID misinformation,” according to NBC News.
Scroll down below this piece from NBC, to the item I
sent to my list-serve, News from Underground, last May, including the link to a
Rumble video put together by a team of French researchers, evidently proving that Ms. Dover is no longer
with us.
So which of these two pieces is correct? There’s a
lot more riding on the answer than the truth about the status of that one young
woman. If NBC News is knowingly reporting lies, or even just repeating them
without checking their veracity, we’re in trouble just like Winston Smith.
