Dear Colleagues and Friends of CEIMSA,
Another aspect of “class struggle” in Mao’s China is
described by Jung Chang in her 1993 book, Wild
Swans, Three Daughters of China, with a great deal of cynicism. (For Part 1 of this presentation, please see: http://www.ceimsa.org/archives/bull-1085.htm)
Like most class enemies, he was not put in prison but kept
‘under surveillance’ by his fellow villagers. This was Mao’s way; to keep
‘enemy’ figures among the people so they always had someone visible and at hand
to hate. Whenever a new campaign came along, this man would be one of the
‘usual suspects’ to be rounded up and attacked afresh. He was always assigned
the hardest jobs, and was allocated only seven work points a day, three fewer
than most of the other men. I never saw anyone talking to him. Several times I
spotted village children throwing stones at his sons.
The peasants thanked Chairman Mao for punishing him. No one questioned
his guilt, or the degree of his responsibility. I sought him out, on my own,
and asked him his story.
He seemed pathetically grateful to be asked. ‘I was carrying out
orders,’ he kept saying. ‘I had to carry out orders….’ Then he sighed: ‘Of
course, I didn’t want to lose my post. Somebody else would have taken my place.
Then what should have happened to me and my kids? We probably would have died
of hunger. A production team leader is small, but at least he can die after
everyone else in the village.’
His words and the peasants’ stories shook me to the core. It was the
first time I had come across the ugly side of Communist China before the
Cultural Revolution. The picture was vastly different form the rosy official
version. In the hills and field of Deyang my doubts
about the Communist regime deepened.
I have sometimes wondered whether Mao knew what he was doing putting the
sheltered urban youth of China in touch with reality. But then he was confident
that much of the population could not be able to make rational deductions with
the fragmentary information available to them. Indeed, at the age of eighteen I
was still only capable to vague doubts, not explicit analysis of the regime. No
matter how much I hated the Cultural Revolution, to doubt Mao still did not
enter my mind.(p.557)
Jung’s description of the educational program under Mao’s
direction was one of crude indoctrination, and illiteracy continued to prevail
in the countryside in the 1969-70, in the period she worked as a peasant and a
“barefoot doctor”.
In Deyang, as in Ningnan,
few peasants could read the simplest article in a newspaper or write a
rudimentary letter. Many could not even write their own name. The Communists’
early drive to tackle illiteracy had been pushed aside by incessant
witch-hunts. There had once been an elementary school in the village, subsidized
by the commune, but at the beginning of the Cultural Revolution the children
abused the teacher to their heart’s content. They paraded him around the
village with heavy cast-iron woks piled upon his head and his face blackened
with soot. Once they almost fractured his skull. Since then, no one could be
persuaded to teach.
Most peasants did not miss the school. ‘What’s the point?’ they would
say. ‘You pay fees and read for years, and in the end
you are still a peasant, earning your food with your sweat. You don’t get a
grain of rice more for being able to read books. Why waste time and money? Might as well start earning your work points right away.’
The virtual absence of any chance of a better future and the near total
immobility for anyone born a peasant took the incentive out of the pursuit of
knowledge. Children of school age would stay at home to help their families
with their work or look after younger brothers and sisters. They would be out
in the fields when they were barely in their teens. As for girls, the peasants
considered it a complete waste of time for them to go to school. ‘They get
married and belong to other people. It’s like pouring water on the ground.’
The Cultural Revolution was trumpeted as having brought education to the
peasants through ‘evening classes.’ One day my production team announced it was
starting evening classes and asked Nana [Jung’s younger sister] and me to be
the teachers. I was delighted. However, as soon as the first ‘class’ began, I
realized that this was not education.
The classes invariably started with Nana and me being asked by the
production team leader to read out articles by Mao or other items from the People’s
Daily. Then he would make an hour-long speech consisting of all the latest
political jargon strung together in undigested and largely unintelligible
hunks. Now and then he would give specific orders, all solemnly delivered in
the name of Mao. ‘Chairman Mao says we must eat two meals of rice porridge and
only one meal of solid rice a day.’ ‘Chairman Mao says we mustn’t waste sweet
potatoes on pigs.’
After a hard day’s work in the fields, the peasants’ minds were on their
household chores. Their evenings were valuable to them, but no one dared to
skip the ‘classes.’ They just sat there, and eventually dozed off. I was not
sorry to see this form of ‘education,’ designed to stupefy rather than
enlighten, gradually wither away.
Without education, the peasants’ world was painfully narrow. Their
conversations usually centered on minute details of daily living. One woman
would spend a whole morning complaining that her sister-in-law had used ten
bundles of feather fuel for cooking breakfast when she could have made do with
nine (fuel, like everything else, was pooled). Another would grumble for hours
that her mother-in –law put too many sweet potatoes in the rice (rice being
more precious and desirable than sweet potatoes). I knew their restricted horizons was not their fault, but nonetheless I found their
conversations unbearable. (pp.558-559)
In the autumn of 1972, following the Cultural Revolution,
Jung Chang returned to Peking and entered the University, where she studied
English. Chapter 26, titled: ‘Sniffing after Foreigners’
Farts and Calling Them Sweet’ – Learning English in Mao’s Wake (1972-1974).’
Here she recounts her experiences at an urban university during the last years
of Mao’s dictatorship.
My
friends and I often talked about the West. By then I had come to the conclusion
that it was a wonderful place. Paradoxically, the first people to put this idea
into my head were Mao and his regime. For years, the things to which I was
naturally inclined had been condemned as evils of the West: pretty clothes,
flowers, books, entertainment, politeness, gentleness, spontaneity, mercy,
kindness, liberty, aversion to cruelty and violence, love instead of ‘class
hatred,’ respect for human lives, the desire to be left alone, professional
competence. . . . As I sometimes
wondered to myself, how could anyone not desire the West?
I was extremely curious about the alternatives to the kind of life I had
been leading, and my friends and I exchanged rumors and scraps of information
we dug from official publications. I was struck less by the West’s
technological developments and high living standards than by the absence or
political witch-hunts, the lack of consuming suspicion, the dignity of the
individual, and the incredible amount of liberty. To me, the ultimate proof of
freedom in the West was that there seemed to be so many people there attacking
the West and praising China.(p.628)

Still I could not help being irritated by some observations. Once I read
an article by a Westerner who came to China to see some old friends, university
professors, who told him cheerfully how they had enjoyed being denounced and
sent to the back end of beyond, and how much they had relished being reformed.
The author concluded that Mao had indeed made the Chinese into ‘new people’ who
would regard what was a misery to the Westerner as pleasure. I was aghast. Did
he not know that repression was at its worst when there was no complaint? A
hundred times more so when the victim actually presented a smiling face? Could
he not see to what a pathetic condition these professors had been reduced and
what horror must have been involved to degrade them so? I did not realize that
the acting that the Chinese were putting on was something to which Westerners
were unaccustomed, and which they could not always decode.
I did not appreciate either that information about China was not easily
available, or was largely misunderstood, in the West, and that people with no
experience of a regime like China’s could take its propaganda and rhetoric at
face value. As a result, I assumed that these eulogies were dishonest. My
friends and I would joke that they had been bought by our government’s
‘hospitality.’ When foreigners were allowed into certain restricted places in
China, following Nixon’s visit, wherever they went the authorities immediately
cordoned off enclaves even within these enclaves. The best transport
facilities, shops, restaurants, guesthouses, and scenic spots were reserved for
them, with signs reading ‘For Foreign Guests Only.’(p.629)
Jung Chang concludes this chapter by sharing the catharsis
she experienced when reading for the first time an authentic copy of an
American magazine.
One
autumn day in 1974, with an air of extreme secrecy, a friend of mine showed me
a copy of Newsweek with pictures of Mao and Mme Mao in it. She could not
read English, and was keen to know what the article said. This as the first genuine foreign magazine I had ever set eyes
on. One sentence in the article struck me like a flash of lightning. It said
that Mme Mao was Mao’s ‘eyes, ears, and voice.’ Up till that moment, I had
never allowed myself to contemplate the obvious connection between Mme Mao’s
deeds and her husband. But now Mao’s name was spelled out for me. My blurred
perceptions surrounding this image came sharply into focus. It was Mao who had
been behind the destruction and suffering. Without him, Mme Mao and her
second-rate coterie could not have lasted a single day. I experienced the
thrill of challenging Mao openly in my mind for the first time.(p.631)
The tyranny she had experienced
during the Cultural Revolution and the systematic destruction of her family for
which there was no legitimate reason other than the tried-and-proven technique of scapegoating for political expediency, of which we are told
Mao Zedong was an ardent student and an accomplished master.

I know I am beating a dead horse here, but I am still fuming about The Atlantic article from October 2022. How dare
they?! I am also a bit perturbed by all the folks prematurely declaring victory
over this totalitarian abomination.
I know
many of you who read my work think I am way too dark about all of this, and
that I should acknowledge all of the incredible headway we have made. I mean,
really…lots of wonderful stuff ICAN is doing, and Bob Kennedy with Children’s Health
Defense, Dr. Kory and Dr. Marik with the FLCCC, America’s Front
Line Doctors, on and on.
Tireless,
I know. And I do not question their efficacy.
But…we are
not there yet folks, and in my dark Dr. Doom opinion, nowhere near it.
The WEF and WHO have not
skipped a beat carrying out their agendas although DAVOS didn’t seem to go as
smoothly as they had hoped, they all still march on.
Digital IDs, Pandemic Treaties, which put global control in the hands of a couple of unelected
officials, plans to replace physical currency with a digital currency
(CBDC) (don’t kid yourself, this has
horrendous consequences). Closer to every day living
level, we have a return to mask mandates showing up as “suggestions” in various
places and we hear the PM of New
Zealand boasting that he will hunt down
the unvaccinated and give them the jab.
I could go
on, but I would run out of my allotted words pretty quickly. As I have said
before, you don’t have to pull back the sheets too far to expose all the
bedbugs you can’t see on the surface. They are all still there, waiting to chew
you up good.
We can’t
expect sheeple to see them. There are plenty on the
surface as well, at least there were over the past few years, and the sheeple can’t see them either. So there is no way we can
expect them to see the millions of those buggers who are carrying on their
business under the sheets. But we can see them. And feel them biting and
sucking our blood. We are like the kid in the movie Sixth Sense. We see dead
people, only these people we see are not dead, they are very much alive, and they
are destroying our world very quickly.

- In his new book, “Cause
Unknown: The Epidemic of Sudden Deaths in 2021 and 2022,” former BlackRock fund manager Edward Dowd details data
showing the COVID-19 shots are a crime against humanity.
- Insurance industry research
in 2016 concluded that group life policyholders die at one-third the rate
of the general U.S. population, so they’re the healthiest among us. Group
life policyholders are those employed with Fortune 500 companies, who tend
to be younger and well-educated.
- In 2020, the general U.S.
population had higher excess mortality than group life holders, but in
2021, that flipped. Ages 25 through 64 of the group life policyholders
suddenly experienced 40% excess mortality, compared to 32% in the general
population. In short, a far healthier subset of the population suddenly
died at a higher rate than the general population.
- American disability
statistics are equally revealing. In the five years before COVID-19, the
monthly disability rate was between 29 million and 30 million. After the
COVID-19 jabs, the disability trend changed dramatically. As of September,
there were 33.2 million disabled Americans — an extra 3.2 million to 4.2
million — a three-standard deviation rate of change since May 2021.
- Since May 2021, the overall
U.S. population has experienced an 11% increase in disabilities, while the
employed — which is about 98 million out of a total population of about
320 million — experienced 26% increased rate of disability. So, something
was introduced into the workforce that caused working-age people to die.

The New
York Times called it a “mystery,” but the United States executed a covert sea
operation that was kept secret—until now
The U.S.
Navy’s Diving and Salvage Center can be found in a location as obscure as its
name—down what was once a country lane in rural Panama City, a now-booming
resort city in the southwestern panhandle of Florida, 70 miles south of the
Alabama border. The center’s complex is as nondescript as its location—a drab
concrete post-World War II structure that has the look of a vocational high
school on the west side of Chicago. A coin-operated laundromat
and a dance school are across what is now a four-lane road.
The center
has been training highly skilled deep-water divers for decades who, once
assigned to American military units worldwide, are capable of technical diving
to do the good—using C4 explosives to clear harbors and beaches of debris and
unexploded ordinance—as well as the bad, like blowing up foreign oil rigs, fouling
intake valves for undersea power plants, destroying locks on crucial shipping
canals. The Panama City center, which boasts the second largest indoor pool in
America, was the perfect place to recruit the best, and most taciturn,
graduates of the diving school who successfully did last summer what they had
been authorized to do 260 feet under the surface of the Baltic Sea.
Last June, the Navy divers, operating under the cover of a widely
publicized mid-summer NATO exercise known as BALTOPS 22, planted the remotely triggered explosives that, three months later,
destroyed three of the four Nord Stream pipelines, according to a source with
direct knowledge of the operational planning.
Two of the
pipelines, which were known collectively as Nord Stream 1, had been providing
Germany and much of Western Europe with cheap Russian natural gas for more than
a decade. A second pair of pipelines, called Nord Stream 2,
had been built but were not yet operational. Now, with Russian troops
massing on the Ukrainian border and the bloodiest war in Europe since 1945
looming, President Joseph Biden saw the pipelines as a vehicle for Vladimir
Putin to weaponize natural gas for his political and
territorial ambitions.

Not that long ago the Biden
administration made clear that U.S. support for Ukraine in the war against
Russia would NOT include deployment of American tanks. Well now it appears the
White House has “evolved” on the issue and 31 U.S.-made M1 Abrams tanks will be
headed to Ukraine after all. Except they may not arrive until next year, and
there’s a great deal of question whether these military vehicles will even make
any difference in the prosecution of the war.

of people are these? I asked as I considered, in my previous commentary, the bottomless corruption and cynical theft that have lately bubbled to
the surface in Ukraine. What kind of polity is this? What kind of country is
Ukraine? To advance this line of inquiry we must now ask: What do we talk about
when we talk about Ukrainian nationalism and Ukrainian nationalists?
Volodymyr Zelensky
offers us a nation of admirable patriotic pride and fervor. But does Ukraine’s
president represent the sentiments of Ukrainians so
faithfully as our corporate-owned media lead us to assume? There are too many
reports of Zelensky’s political vulnerability to
dismiss as he takes the nation in what amounts to a frenzy of
self-destruction—destruction, this is to say, of the nation he purports to be
saving. The New York Times and the other major American dailies, which print
when the Times prints and are silent when the Times is silent, do not tire of
telling us Zelensky came to office in a landslide
electoral victory four years ago. I wish they were honest enough to note that
one policy, more than any other, won Zelensky 71
percent of the vote. This was a commitment to negotiate a peaceful settlement
with Ukraine’s Russian neighbor and mend the fracture running down the center
of the country between its western and eastern provinces.

Vaccines Are Dangerous, and All Those Pushing This Agenda Are Committing the

Just
over 12 months from deployment of the COVID 19 emergency use experimental
vaccines, scientific studies in the thousands, and reports of criminal
complaints of assault and murder from the illegal, unlawful use of biochemical
poisons made to police forces around the country, verify an assault on an
unsuspecting UK population. Irrefutable science shows that the COVID 19 vaccine
is not safe and not effective in limiting transmission or infection from the
SARS-CoV-2, coronavirus pathogens.
The
“safe and effective” false propaganda, put out by public officials who now are
continuing to push this vaccine, is a clear breach of duty. A public office
holder is subject to, and aware of, a duty to prevent death or serious injury

What
went wrong, and why?
In
a sense, the original sin was the confusion of science, the philosophical
pursuit of the truth by means of confirmation of accuracy through systematic
experiments, with technology, the tools, and the systems based on tools, that serve to create an effect, or to complete a
task.
Technology
is not science. The Internet, and the supercomputers that lurk behind it, are
employed by the rich and powerful to create a virtual reality for us with the
intention of convincing us that the images and the effects generated by
technology have some relationship to the truth, to science. They want to
reassure us that everything is fine when it is not.
If
we want to find our way out of this nightmare, we must first recognize that technology
today has become the complete opposite of science: a distraction,
or a weapon employed to render us passive and ignorant.
As
Paul Goodman wrote, “Whether or not it draws on new scientific research,
technology is a branch of moral philosophy, not of science.” It is the moral
aspect of technology that should be foremost in our minds, and not the gaudy
special effects that enchant, that pretend to be science.
Before
we develop a smartphone, a satellite system or a
supercomputer, we must first employ the scientific method to determine what the
impact of that technology will be over the long term on the Earth and on
humanity. Such a combination of science and technology literally never happens.
Today,
thousands of supercomputers calculate the worth of derivatives as part of a
money game for the super-rich, a fixed round of poker. Few super computers are
calculating how the use of massive amounts of electricity to power the next
generation of AI will impact the climate over the next fifty years, or what the
impact of the use of plastics will be on the oceans for that the next century,
or what the prospects for the production of food for the 200 years will be in
light of the rapid degradation of soil.
Supercomputers
are being employed to calculate profit, and not sustainability, and they are so
assigned for a political, not a scientific, reason. Technology serves as a
sheepskin for the most ruthless forms of economic exploitation. The powerful
know that if AI was focused on sustainability over centuries, the answer from
its calculations would be that we should stop using AI if we wish to survive.
We
confuse science with technology at our peril.

May 2020, it had become apparent that the standard practice of putting COVID-19
patients on mechanical ventilation with ventilators was a death sentence.1 As early as April 9, 2020, Business Insider reported2
that 80% of COVID-19 patients in New York City who were placed on ventilators
died, which caused a number of doctors to question their use.
The Associated Press3
also publicized similar reports from China and the U.K. A U.K. report put the figure at 66%, while a small study from
Wuhan, China, put the ratio of deaths at 86%. Data presented by attorney Thomas
Renz in 2021 showed that in Texas hospitals, 84.9% of
patients died after more than 96 hours on a ventilator.4
The
lowest figure I’ve seen is 50%.5
So, somewhere between 50% and 86% of all ventilated
COVID patients died. Compare that to historical prepandemic
ratios, where 30% to 40% of ventilated patients died.

When the alleged
“pandemic” was declared in March of 2020, I, like millions of other people
around the world, was paying close attention to politicians and public health
officials as well as to bureaucrats from the Rockefeller Foundation-created
World Health Organization (WHO), all of whom announced, in almost perfect
synchronicity, “This is the new normal until a vaccine can be developed.”
How odd, I thought. Why
is it that the immediate default position is a vaccine? And why is it that a
single coronavirus is being blamed for causing people
to fall ill in every corner of the earth? Could something else—perhaps one or
more toxins in the environment—be the real culprit?
It was impossible to stop myself from asking
question after question and pondering possible answers. For, if public health
authorities in nearly every jurisdiction (from international healthy
organizations to national health agencies to state and local health
departments) on the planet were truly concerned about citizens’ well-being,
then:

Why was it
that natural immunity, which has been a key component to human health and
survival for over 200,000 years, was suddenly being treated as if it didn’t
exist anymore?

Why was no
one in charge urging us to eat a healthy, nutritionally balanced, organic diet,
low in sugar content?
·
Why did no
one mention the importance of getting enough sleep?
·
Why were
we not being encouraged to go outdoors and exercise?
·
Why was no
one suggesting we increase our zinc and vitamin D intake? After all, scientists
have known for over fifty years that vitamin D, either absorbed naturally from
the sun or taken orally in tablet form, is extremely beneficial to the human body
in many ways, especially in building a strong innate immune system.
All of the preceding points, if taken seriously,
could have helped us improve our immune system and given us an opportunity to
combat the negative effects of the syndrome known as COVID-19.
Even more bizarre was the fact that, from the very
start of the “pandemic,” the corporate-controlled media had been continually
seeking the opinion of Bill Gates, who is neither a doctor nor a scientist, on
what course of action governments around the world should be taking to combat
the spread of the so-called SARS-CoV-2 virus.
As two weeks of global lockdowns—allegedly “to
flatten the curve”—dragged on and turned into several months of lockdowns, it
became painfully obvious that none of the “public health measures”—ranging from
physical distancing to masking to self-isolation—being implemented by
governments around the world had anything to do with their stated purpose of
keeping everyone COVID-free.
These measures did, however, perform two key roles
completely unrelated to public health:
First, they were calculated from the beginning to
create a polarized population. Indeed, we have been made the subjects of a
social engineering experiment intended to divide humanity—thus preventing us
from communicating, converging, cooperating, and rising up together against a
diabolical plan designed to eradicate representative democracy, sovereign
nation-states, and individual liberties.
Second, they had the intended consequence of
shutting down the global economy, sending millions of people into bankruptcy,
extreme poverty, and despair. The vultures devouring the dead and decaying
pieces of the shattered economy are powerful financial interests—big banks and
businesses and billionaires whose goal is to control every sector of the
economy, including all natural resources and all public and private assets.
These predators, though few in number, have wreaked the havoc requisite for
them to buy—for pennies on the dollar—every possible possession in the entire
world. But they are neither content to be wealthy
beyond belief nor satisfied with owning everything. Rather, it seems they will
not rest until they have achieved complete world domination by exploiting and
enslaving all of us.
In the two years of a “pandemic”-driven panic that
most of the world seems to have succumbed to, many nations have been ruled by
illegal executive orders and health department guidelines, all promulgated in
the name of “following the science.” What this hijacked term really means is
that scared-out-of-their-wits citizens are following the worldwide mandate to
believe a false narrative that lays all
the blame for all the
destruction on an alleged virus—a non-isolated, unpurified, computer-generated,
allegedly “novel” virus. Meanwhile, the enshrined constitutional and civil
rights of billions of human beings are being shredded.
Of all the thoughts that ran through my mind, the
one that struck the deepest chord was the realization that a naturally
occurring, helpful element in the environment was being blamed as the source of
the pseudo pandemic. I understood that, just as there are “global warming”
swindlers who falsify climate data and write inaccurate academic reports so
they can pretend to vilify carbon dioxide (an element that generateslife on earth—the
opposite of killing life!) and
thus make scads of money from their scam, so are there “pandemic” gangsters who
pretend to vilify another marvel of the natural world—the virus—for the same
venal purpose.
I knew I must do
something with my realization. That is, I had to research to prove my theory
was fact, not fancy. For four solid months, I spent all my free hours reading
countless articles and watching umpteen interviews. (See my acknowledgements
below to find out who my main sources were.) Next, I amassed everything I had
learned and wrote a four-part article. When it was published on the Global
Research website, it received so many views and positive comments that the
Global Research editor encouraged me to turn it into a short book. This
is that book.
My hope is that I have succeeded in deconstructing
the official narrative: first, by explaining how viruses have been blanketing
the earth with their genetic codes for eons, creating biodiversity and allowing
for adaptation throughout the ecosystem, and, second, by pointing out the
myriad ways reckless human behaviour is creating a real environmental catastrophe—not
the carbon-is-the-culprit con, but actual pollution and deforestation and
species extinction, to name a few such scourges. These real problems are being ignored by the fake “climate change”
crowd, who hide their mercenary motives behind euphemisms like “sustainable
development goals” (SDGs) and “environmental, social, and governance”

More Than 217,000 Americans Killed
by the COVID Jab”

Compare that to Pfizer’s six-month safety analysis, which claimed only
1.2% of trial participants experienced a serious adverse event
- In December 2022, Rasmussen Reports polled 1,000
Americans. In this poll, 34% reported experiencing minor side effects from
the jab and 7% reported major side effects
While it's clear that the
experimental COVID shots have killed a considerable number of people, the total
death toll remains elusive, thanks to U.S. health agencies obfuscating, hiding and manipulating data.
That said, the most recent survey1,2 — published in the peer-reviewed journal BMC Infectious
Diseases — puts the death toll from the COVID jabs somewhere between 217,330
and 332,608 in 2021 alone. As noted by Steve Kirsch:3
"[We've] killed at least
217,000 Americans and seriously injured 33 million … in just the first year,
and the CDC and FDA want to give you more shots … Since deaths from the vaccine
were higher in 2022, most experts would estimate the all-cause mortality death
toll from the COVID vaccines to be in the range of 500K to 600K.
So the global cost of life from
these vaccines is on the order of 10 to 12 million people … These [data] are
consistent with the numbers I've been saying for a long time. It's not a
coincidence."
Survey:
Why People Did or Did Not Get the Jab
Now, the slant of this paper is kind
of interesting. The primary aim of it was to "identify the factors
associated by American citizens with the decision to be vaccinated against
COVID-19."
The author was curious about why 31%
of the U.S. population had declined the jab or not completed the primary series
by November 2022, nearly two years into a massively advertised
"vaccination" campaign.
Calculating the proportion of fatal
events from the jab was secondary. As explained by the author, Mark Skidmore,4 Ph.D., an
economics professor at Michigan State University:5
"A largely unexplored factor is
the degree to which serious health problems arising from the COVID-19 illness
or the COVID-19 vaccines among family and friends influences the decision to be
vaccinated.
Serious illness due to COVID-19
would make vaccination more likely; the perceived benefits of avoiding COVID-19
through inoculation would be higher.
On the other hand, observing major
health issues following COVID-19 inoculation within one's social network would
heighten the perceived risks of vaccination. Previous studies have not
evaluated the degree to which experiences with the disease and vaccine injury
influence vaccine status.
The main aim of this online survey
of COVID-19 health experiences is to investigate the degree to which the
COVID-19 disease and COVID-19 vaccine adverse events among friends and family,
whether perceived or real, influenced inoculation decisions. The second aim of
this work is to estimate the total number of COVID-19 vaccine induced
fatalities nationwide from the survey."

"An online survey of COVID-19
health experiences was conducted. Information was collected regarding reasons
for and against COVID-19 inoculations, experiences with COVID-19 illness and
COVID-19 inoculations by survey respondents and their social circles. Logit regression analyses were carried out to identify
factors influencing the likelihood of being vaccinated."
Survey
Findings
A total of 2,840 people completed
the survey between December 18 and 23, 2021. The mean age was 47, and the
gender ratio was 51% women, 49% men. Just over half, 51%, had received one or
more COVID jabs.
As Skidmore suspected, results
showed that people who got the jab were more likely to know someone who
experienced a health problem from COVID-19 infection, whereas those who knew
someone who experienced a health problem after getting the jab were less likely
to be jabbed.
Of the respondents, 34% knew one or
more people who had experienced a significant health problem due to the
COVID-19 illness, and 22% knew one or more people who had been injured by the
shot. So, as noted by to the author:7
"Knowing someone who reported
serious health issues either from COVID-19 or from COVID-19 vaccination are
important factors for the decision to get vaccinated."
As for the types of side effects
experienced by people within the respondents' social circles, they included
(but were not limited to) the "usual suspects," such as:
- Heart and cardiovascular problems
- Severe COVID infection or other respiratory illness
- Feeling generally unwell, weak, fatigued and out of
breath for weeks
- Blood clots and stroke
- Death

Based on these survey data, Skidmore
estimates:
"…
the total number of fatalities due to COVID-19 inoculation may be as high as
278,000 (95% CI 217,330-332,608) when fatalities that may have occurred
regardless of inoculation are removed."
Were COVID-19 an infection with an
extremely high mortality rate, perhaps high rates of death from a vaccine would
be acceptable. But COVID-19 has an exceptionally low mortality rate, on par
with or lower than influenza, hence the risk associated with the COVID jabs
ought to be equally low.

As it stands, the risks of the shots
are very high, while Pfizer's own trial data, with more than 40,000
participants, show they offer no benefit in terms of your risk of
hospitalization and/or death. The absolute risk reduction is so minute as to be
inconsequential.8
High
Rates of Side Effects
The death toll from the jabs isn't
the only disturbing part of this paper, though. Skidmore's findings also
suggest side effects from the jab may be more common than previously suspected.
As mentioned, 51% of the respondents
had been jabbed. Of those, 15% reported experiencing a new health problem
post-jab and 13% deemed it "serious." Compare that to Pfizer's
six-month safety analysis,9
which claimed only 1.2% of trial participants reported a serious adverse event.
Now, as suggested by Kirsch,10 "we
need to discount that by a factor of two because people report less severe
adverse events as adverse events." Still, that means serious adverse
events from the jab are five times higher than what Pfizer reported.
"This is why the FDA never does
after-market surveys in the drugs it approves. Because reality hurts," Kirsch writes.11 "It is the FDA that should have discovered this
before Mark Skidmore. The FDA is asleep at the wheel and they just believe
everything the drug companies tell them, hook, line, and sinker. This is a
major miss. Why aren't they doing surveys like this to see if the reality
matches the study?"
More
Side Effect Rate Comparisons
For additional comparison, here are
the findings of several other investigations:
- Rasmussen Reports12 — In December 2022, Rasmussen Reports polled 1,000
Americans. In this poll — taken one year after Skidmore's survey — 34%
reported experiencing minor side effects from the jab and 7% reported
major side effects.
- CDC's V-Safe data13 — In October 2022, ICAN obtained the Center for
Disease Control and Prevention's V-Safe data. This is a voluntary program
to monitor adverse vaccine reactions. Of the 10.1 million COVID jab
recipients who used the app, 7.7% had to seek medical care post-jab.
- Kirsch-funded survey14 — A June 2022 U.S. survey by the market research
company Pollfish found that 16.3% of COVID
jabbed respondents experienced an injury, and 9.7% required medical care.

Menstrual
Irregularities Are Common Post-Jab
While we're on the topic of reported
side effects, several surveys have also focused on the frequency of abnormal
menses in women who got the jab, which could be indicative of reproductive
harm. For example:
- A British survey published in early December 2021 found
20% of women experienced menstrual disturbances following their jab.16
- A study published in Science Advances in mid-July 2022
found 66% of "fully vaccinated" postmenopausal women experienced
abnormal breakthrough bleeding. In total, 42.1% reported heavier menstrual
flow post-jab (this included women of all ages, as well as transgenders on hormone treatments).17
- An Italian peer-reviewed study published in March 2022
found that "50-60% of reproductive-age women who received the first
dose of the COVID-19 vaccine reported menstrual cycle irregularities,
regardless of the type of administered vaccine." After the second
dose, abnormal menses were reported by 60% to 70%.18
People
in High Places Seek Retraction
Not surprisingly, people in high
places are already trying to force a retraction of the paper. A special notice
from the editor, dated just two days post-publication,
states, "Readers are alerted that the conclusions of this paper are
subject to criticisms that are being considered by editors. Specifically, that
the claims are unsubstantiated and that there are questions about the quality
of the peer review." As noted by Kirsch:19
"They are actively trying to
get the paper retracted because it destroys the narrative. I'm certain they
will succeed because journals are under intense pressure to censor any
anti-narrative paper. The problem is that Mark's survey was entirely consistent
with my surveys.
If they want to have the paper
retracted they need to show us THEIR surveys. But of course, they don't have
any surveys because they are too afraid of the results.
So they will use hand-waving
arguments like "I don't like the methodology" or some nonsense like
that instead of gathering their own data. They will NEVER show us survey data
that supports their narrative because it isn't there.
That's why there are no success
anecdotes. NOBODY can give me the name of a US geriatric practice where
all-cause deaths plummeted after the vaccines rolled out. In every case, they
went the wrong way. The narrative is unraveling at an accelerated pace but the
medical community is still fighting the truth."

did not stay in the injection site in the deltoid, but rather went, within
48 hours, into the bloodstream, from there to lodge in the liver, spleen,
adrenals, lymph nodes, and, if you are a woman, in the ovaries. [See this]
Pfizer
(and thus the FDA) knew that the Moderna vaccine had
100 mcg of MRNA, lipid nanoparticles and spike
protein, which was more than three times the 30 mcg of the adult Pfizer dose; the company’s internal documents show a higher rate of
adverse events with the 100 mcg dose, so they stopped experimenting with that
amount internally due to its “reactogenicity” —
Pfizer’s words — but no one told all of the millions of Americans who all got
the first and second 100 mcg Moderna dose, and the
boosters.
Pfizer
skewed the trial subjects so that almost three quarters were female — a gender
that is less prone to cardiac damage. Pfizer lost the records of what
became of hundreds of their trial subjects.
In
the internal trials, there were over 42,000 adverse events and more than 1200
people died. Four of the people who died,
died on the day they were injected.

The other day I stumbled across a 2014 opinion piece in The Guardian, “It’s not Russia that’s pushed Ukraine to the

Milne, who the following year would go on to become the Labour
Party’s executive director of strategy and communications under Jeremy Corbyn.
I bring
this up because the perspectives you’ll find in that article are jarring in how
severely they deviate from anything you’ll see published in the mainstream
press about Ukraine in 2023.
It places
the brunt of the blame for the violence and tensions in that nation at that
time squarely at Washington’s feet, opening with a warning that the “threat of
war in Ukraine is growing” and saying there’s an “unelected government in
Kiev,” and it only gets naughtier from there.
I strongly
recommend reading the article in full if you want some perspective on just how
dramatically the mass media has clamped down on dissenting ideas about Ukraine

U.S. elites have predictably reacted with hysteria
to China’s rise and could go so far as to provoke a world war to try to salvage
their Southeast Asia empire—as the Roosevelt administration did with Japan on
the eve of Pearl Harbor.
From 1991 to 2021 China achieved
ten-fold growth in incomes and labor productivity, and a thirteen-fold increase
in GDP—largely because of sound economic policies.
The
country’s growing economic as well as technological primacy placed it in an
increasingly strong position to create an East Asian economic and possibly a
security bloc to pull Asian states out of their dependence on the West.
The former
was in the process of being achieved with a) China’s creation of the Asian
Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), which provided loans to other Southeast
Asian countries without the same stipulations as those meted out by the
International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank; and b) the advent beginning
in 2013 of the One Belt-One Road Initiative (BRI), which has invested massively
in infrastructural development projects in many different countries that are
designed to tether their economies to that of China.
A.B. Abrams[1] points out in his book, Power and Primacy: A History of Western
Intervention in the Asia-Pacific (New York: Peter Lang, 2022), that
China is poised to achieve by cooperation in the next decade what Japan set out
to achieve by coercion in the first three decades of the 20th
century—the creation of a Southeast Asia power bloc capable of resisting
Western empires that have ravaged Southeast Asia since the 16th
century.
Predictably,
U.S. elites have reacted to China’s rise not too differently than they did
Japan’s—through a campaign of demonization and large-scale military buildup in
the Asia Pacific along with the institution of economic warfare that threatens
the outbreak of another world war.

into separate regions, outside of Beijing’s influence, has been an integral
part of American foreign policy ever since the end of the 1940s, when China
exited Washington’s control following the communist revolution.
The 1949 communist takeover of China was termed in
imperialist language as the “loss of China” in Washington. China’s revolution was lamented
by American politicians as a major blow to United States power, which it
undoubtedly was, after China had been a Western client nation for many
years.
The Harry Truman administration (1945–53), severely criticised for “losing China”, made concerted efforts to undermine
America’s new rival. Between 1949 and 1951, the Central Intelligence Agency
(CIA) increased the number of its operatives tenfold which were engaged in
covert actions relating to China. (1)
The CIA
budget, for activities against China, reached 20 times greater than the sum of
money expended on the 1953 US/British-backed overthrow of Mohammad Mosaddegh’s government in Iran. (2)
Scanning
maps of east Asia, US government strategists were
inevitably drawn towards Tibet, in south-western China, as an area of critical
importance. The Tibetan landmass, which is recognised
internationally to be within China’s frontiers, is the highest in the world,
and it has an average altitude of over 4,300 metres
above sea level. At 1.2 million square kilometres in
size, the region of Tibet is more than twice larger than France; but it doubles
to 2.5 million square kilometres, by taking into
account much of the surrounding Tibetan Plateau which is scarcely inhabited by
humans.

War Fever: after Ukraine, Taiwan?

In late January, a top US general declared that a
war over Taiwan could break out in as soon as two years. Are we shortly to find
ourselves confronted with a second flashpoint in Asia after Ukraine? We put the
question to China expert Dirk Nimmegeers.
To
fully understand what exactly is going on, it is important to grasp Taiwan’s
special status. Can you explain that status a bit?
Taiwan does have its own government and parliament,
but essentially it is not a sovereign or independent state because it is part
of China. Almost every state in the world, including the US, recognizes that.
Taiwan, for instance, has no seat at the UN.
There is only one China with a government based in
Beijing. The Taiwanese political entity was installed in 1949 by the losing
side in the Chinese civil war, after being expelled from the rest of the
country by the Communist Party of China.
Legally, the island has been part of China for centuries like Flanders is part of Belgium, or Friesland is
part of the Netherlands. In a way you can see Taiwan as a rebellious province.
What
is China’s relationship towards this ‘rebellious province’?
China’s policy has been unchanging for years: Taiwan
should be reunited peacefully with the rest of the country. Beijing would like
to see economic ties between the mainland and the island province restored to
the same strength as they were until recently. More social and cultural
contacts would also be beneficial.
However, Beijing has always warned – and does so
every time it is gravely provoked – that any declaration of Taiwanese
independence or serious moves towards it would lead to a military response.
Essentially, the ‘Taiwan issue’ is a domestic one, which the Chinese on both
sides of the Taiwan Strait will settle between themselves.
How
do they view that issue in Taiwan?
In Taiwan, there are two main parties. Currently,
the Democratic People’s Party (DPP) is in power. This party is pushing for
separatism. The position of the DPP and its current leader Tsai Ing-wen is that Taiwan is already independent and that
China and Taiwan do not belong together.
This is in contrast to the view of the other major
Taiwanese political party the Kuomintang (KMT). This party is still loyal to
the ‘one China’ constitution, which assumed that a government from Taiwan would
succeed in reclaiming all Chinese territory. Of course, the KMT also knows that
this has since become an illusion, and that is why the party drew up the ‘1992
Consensus’.
This states that ‘there is but one China, but this
is interpreted differently on both sides of the Strait’. For Beijing and the
KMT, this remains a good basis for mutual contacts and negotiations. The DPP
separatists have always refused to recognize that Consensus.
And
what is the US stance on the issue?
Traditionally, the US has held the view that Taiwan
is indeed part of China, and that there is only one China, with Beijing as its
capital. In 1982, the US promised to phase out arms sales to Taiwan.
When meeting Xi at the G20 in Bali in November 2022,
Biden reiterated that the US sticks to its ‘One China’ policy. The US president
also stated then that he and his administration remain in favor of the status
quo, i.e., the situation where Taiwan does not declare independence but
continues to operate autonomously. The US would intervene militarily if any of
the parties involved changed that status quo unilaterally and by force.
So,
the US adheres to maintaining the status quo?
What happened in the months before and after the
Bali conversation raises serious doubts about the sincerity of Biden’s
statements. Rather, it seems that Washington is encouraging the most reckless
separatist and militaristic politicians on Taiwan.
It is as if the US wants to fulfil
its own prophesy that war with China is unavoidable.
It seems that leaders in Washington are preparing for that conflict and
recruiting or pressuring allies to join it.
Could
you concretely elaborate on this?
First, you have the US global strategy. Washington
is going to spend unprecedented sums on armaments. Annually, Congress will
allocate $858 billion to the military. That’s $45 billion more than Biden had
requested, and it is as much as the spending of the next nine countries
combined.
With this arms race, they particularly put Russia
and China in the crosshairs. That is not even what I am saying,
Washington itself is very open about this. Two US strategic documents argue
this and explain how Washington plans to deal with it. The
National Security Strategy (2022) and the Nuclear
Posture Review (2022), even state in bellicose language that the US has
the right to use a nuclear bomb for the purpose of ‘deterring strategic
attacks’, i.e. not just nuclear attacks!

Blackrock pushes ESG
In January, 2020 on
the eve of the economically and socially devastating covid
lockdowns, the CEO of the world’s largest investment fund, Larry Fink of
Blackrock, issued a letter to Wall Street colleagues and corporate CEOs on the
future of investment flows. In the document, modestly titled “A Fundamental
Reshaping of Finance”, Fink, who manages the world’s largest investment
fund with some $7 trillion then under management, announced a radical departure
for corporate investment. Money would “go green.” In his closely-followed 2020
letter Fink declared,
“In the near future – and sooner than most

Fink delivered the new agenda for capital investing. He declared that Blackrock

recent interview with German magazine Der Spiegel, former
Chancellor and European political heavyweight Angela Merkel revealed that the Minsk accords, a comprehensive 2015 diplomatic treaty, agreed by the EU,
United States, Russia, and Kyiv to end the civil war in eastern Ukraine, was
essentially subverted by the Ukrainians in an attempt to buy time to expand its
military capabilities.
The fact
that the accords, which were widely regarded as a truly workable solution to
the conflict, were not prioritized by the U.S. for implementation, speaks
volumes when assessing the sincerity of the U.S. position. Just prior to
Merkel’s stunning revelations, Former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko was also
covertly recorded admitting that the process was abused by Ukraine and used to
prepare for war with Russia.

passionate supporters on social media spun this as supposed proof that his multipolar vision remains perfectly aligned with Russia’s despite evidence to the contrary, but Moscow just indirectly contradicted this.

financed TASS published the reaction of the Lugansk People’s
Republic’s (LPR) former Ambassador to Russia Rodion Miroshnik, who threw cold water on Lula’s proposal. Before
quoting that diplomat, whose region is now formally a part of Russia, it’s
important to draw attention to the fact Moscow wouldn’t have promoted his
critical reaction via one of its publicly financed international media
flagships if it contradicted the Kremlin’s informal views towards this matter.

Mass protests for Israeli
‘democratic rights’ silent on Palestinian oppression

Opposition demonstrations of more than 100,000
people have taken place in Israeli cities since the new extreme right-wing
government, including undisguised fascist ministers, took office on Dec. 30.
The protests, in the name of democracy, have been
organized by multiple organizations and politicians focusing particularly
on the new government’s attempt to weaken the judicial system and thereby
grant itself unfettered power to enact its reactionary agenda.
Another major point of contention is a bill
introduced by the new minister of communications aimed at shutting down
the public broadcasting system, setting up a committee to supervise commercial
media, severely restricting investigative reporting and making it illegal to
publish most information obtained through recordings.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu desperately sought
to return to office to avoid prosecution on corruption charges against him
and his family. The new government he put together is so dominated by unabashed
bigots that Minister of Finance Belazel Smotrich had no compunction about recently stating in an
interview, “I am a fascist homophobe.” Smotrich is
also deputy speaker of the Knesset (parliament) and holds a second position in
the ministry of defense giving him and his settler-based party control over
much of the West Bank.
The glaring omission in the demonstrations has been
any mention of those who are the primary targets of the new regime — and
all preceding Israeli regimes — the Palestinian people. Even participation
by Palestinians living inside the 1948 borders with the Palestinian flag
has been discouraged or, in some cases, prevented. Instead, the protests
have been seas of blue and white Israeli flags.
The fascist National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir threatened that
anyone carrying a Palestinian flag in the Jerusalem protests would be
arrested and jailed. He was saved the trouble of carrying out his threat
by the protest organizers who made it clear that they didn’t want to “confuse”
the message that
this is a family dispute among Israel-loyal Zionists.
Leaders of the Israeli protests say that they are
fighting for democracy. But it is not possible to speak of democracy in
any real sense inside an apartheid system. Under the defunct South African
apartheid system only whites could vote, go to court, print newspapers,
etc., but no one could credibly call apartheid South Africa a “democracy,” and
no one today can credibly claim that Israel does not have an apartheid system.
Apartheid is an international crime.

“Woke Imperialism”

Woke culture, devoid of class
consciousness and a commitment to stand with the oppressed, is another tool in
the arsenal of the imperial state.
The brutal murder of Tyre Nichols by five Black Memphis
police officers should be enough to implode the fantasy that identity politics
and diversity will solve the social, economic and political decay that besets
the United States. Not only are the former officers Black, but the city’s
police department is headed by Cerelyn Davis, a
Black woman. None of this helped Nichols, another victim of a modern-day police
lynching.
The
militarists, corporatists, oligarchs, politicians, academics and media
conglomerates champion identity politics and diversity because it does nothing
to address the systemic injustices or the scourge of permanent war that plague the U.S. It is an advertising gimmick, a brand, used to
mask mounting social inequality and imperial folly. It busies liberals and the
educated with a boutique activism, which is not only ineffectual but
exacerbates the divide between the privileged and a working class in deep
economic distress. The haves scold the have-nots for their bad manners, racism,
linguistic insensitivity and garishness, while ignoring the root causes of
their economic distress. The oligarchs could not be happier.

country over several centuries.
Examples:

The Royal African Company and
other British “crown corporations” transported slaves to the American colonies
·
The “Fugitive Slave Clause” of the
U.S. Constitution (Article I, Section 2, Clause 3) mandated that escaped slaves
(the property of slaveholders) when caught had to be returned to their owners.
·
The “Three-Fifths “Compromise” in
the Constitution (Article I, Section 2, Clause 3) defined slaves (which
had no political rights) as 3/5ths of a person in determining a state’s
population – to ensure that southern states would have more votes in the
Electoral College to perpetuate slavery.
·
JP Morgan bank used slaves as collateral
for loans to slave owners in the 19th century.
·
The 13th Amendment contained an
“exceptions clause” – prisoners could be used as forced labor. “Convict
leasing” or “slavery by another name” involved
African American forced to to work for railroads,
U.S. Steel and other corporations to rebuild the south after the Civil War.
·
African-American strikebreakers
were used widely in the meat packing, steel, coal mining, automobile, and
railroad industries between the end of Civil War and New Deal to stoke racism
between white and black workers to prevent the rise of unions.
·
Housing, automobile, and
construction corporations profited by laws (including discriminatory FHA
mortgage underwriting) that promoted redlining of neighborhoods to maintain
high housing values, especially in suburbia.
·
The disproportionate mass
imprisonment of African Americans, due to racist drug and other laws, has given
rise to highly profitable and powerful private prison corporations, namely CoreCivic and Geo Group. The Prison Industries Act
(promoted by ALEC, the American Legislative Exchange Council) has expanded
prison labor and financially benefited many companies, among them Victoria’s
Secret, Whole Foods Market, Walmart, Microsoft,
Starbucks, BP, Nintendo, AT&T, Target, Dell, Eddie Bauer, and Boeing.
·
Racial predatory loans by Wall
Street financial entities, which profited in the billions, fueled the 2007-9
financial crisis.
·
Toxic industries tend to be placed
or to expand in African American poor communities.
·
The explosion of police violence
against innocent African Americans in cities and subsequent financial
settlements in amounts that communities can not
afford has given rise to a new profitable financial instrument for corporate
and individual investors: “police brutality bonds.”
Not to be overlooked is the
corporate hijacking of the Fourteenth Amendment, intended to provide legal due process and equal protection to African
Americans when it was ratified in 1868. Two decades later, the Supreme Court
hijacked the decision, ruling that a corporation is a “person” with the same
due process and equal protection rights intended exclusively for African
Americans.
