Imprisoned
publisher Julian Assange will face two High Court
judges over two days on Feb. 20-21, 2024 in London in what will likely be his
last appeal against being extradited to the United States to face charges of
violating the Espionage Act.
Assange’s wife Stella Assange confirmed that the hearing will
take place at the Royal Courts of Justice. Assange
had had an earlier request to appeal rejected by High Court Judge
Jonathan Swift on June 6.
Assange then filed an application
to appeal that decision and the dates have now been set. Assange is seeking
to challenge both the home secretary’s decision to extradite him as well as to
cross appeal the decision by the lower court judge, Vanessa Baraitser.
Baraitser had ruled in January 2021
to release Assange from Belmarsh
Prison and deny the U.S. request for extradition based on Assange’s
mental health, his propensity to commit suicide and conditions of U.S. prisons.
On every point of law, however, Baraitser sided with
the United States.
The U.S. appealed her decision,
issuing “diplomatic assurances” that Assange would
not be mistreated in prison. The High Court, after a two-day hearing in
March 2022, accepted those “assurances” and rejected Assange’s
appeal.
His application to the U.K. Supreme Court to hear
the case was then denied. Assange then applied for a
new appeal of Baraitser’s legal decisions and the
home secretary’s extradition order.

Gaza's entire population — more than 2.2 million
people — is facing crisis or worse
levels of hunger,
with the risk of famine increasing every day as Israel's ground offensive and bombardment of the enclave
continues, a UN-backed body said in a report on Thursday.
The big
picture: It is
the highest share of people facing such levels of food insecurity that has ever
been reported by the multi-partner body known as the Integrated Food
Security Phase Classification (IPC), which monitors global hunger.

are not just numbers — there are individual children, women and men behind
these alarming statistics," said World Food Program chief economist Arif
Husain said in a statement. "The complexity, magnitude and speed that this
crisis has unfolded is unprecedented."

population is facing emergency levels of food insecurity, while more than half
a million Palestinians — about 26% of the population — have exhausted their
food supplies and are facing catastrophic conditions, the IPC report said.

all households are skipping meals every day," it added.

report warned there is a risk of famine occurring in the next six months if the
"intense conflict and restricted humanitarian access persists or
worsens."

The
report noted conditions are particularly acute in northern Gaza, which largely
remains inaccessible to aid groups due to the fighting and Israel's control
over certain areas.

situation in Gaza is clearly catastrophic for all sectors and requires an
extremely urgent political response, together with a full multisectoral
and strategically balanced humanitarian response," the IPC said.
What
they're saying: Palestinians
have described extremely dire conditions in Gaza. "The war has
shattered hope for the future and removed the luxury of choice. Here, mothers
must go hungry in order to feed their children with what little food they
have," a staffer with the UN Palestinian refugee agency (UNRWA) in Gaza
wrote in a blog post earlier this week.

It was 6:00 am on 15 December, when my mother woke
me to take our turn in the line at a nearby bakery, 15 minutes away on foot.
There are two lines, one for women and one for men.
My mother was number 29, I number 30. We had arrived before the bakery opened
to ensure our turn.
The number of waiting men soon tripled, far
surpassing the number of women. The bakery’s proprietor decided that every
customer could purchase just 10 pieces of bread each, since hundreds were
already queuing by the time he opened at eight.
There were six employees in the bakery, including
the proprietor. Each one was assigned a certain task.
One rolled the dough into balls and placed them in a
wooden tray. Another moved those trays to a third employee, who fixed the dough
before it was baked and divided into portions. A cashier took money.
I stood in the queue for six hours. One advantage of
getting there early was that I managed to grab a chair for my mother, who
cannot stand for extended periods as she has severe pain in her legs and back.
After four hours of standing, I felt lightheaded. I
couldn’t see anyone in front of me and was barely able to keep myself from
collapsing. Did I feel this weak because I was starving or because I was
thirsty?

I recently became the recipient of the Women and
Media Award from the Women’s Institute of the Freedom of the Press. While it’s
truly an honor to receive this recognition for the journalism that I direct at MintPress News, it’s nearly impossible for me to revel in
this accolade when my heart is weighed down heavily by the ongoing turmoil in
Gaza.
As a Palestinian-American journalist who has lived
under the oppressive shadow of Israeli occupation and witnessed firsthand the
relentless brutality of the apartheid regime, I cannot remain silent as my
people face relentless oppression and violence.
I want to dedicate this award to the fearless
journalists in Gaza who are risking their lives to show us the raw reality of
life under Israeli bombs.
Since October 7th, the death toll stands stark and
horrific – Israel is systematically taking out journalists, one by one, and
killing their families. The Israeli military has already claimed the lives of
at least 82 Palestinian journalists in Gaza. These courageous individuals,
committed to unveiling the truth, have become direct targets of a regime
desperate to cloak its genocidal actions from the world’s scrutiny.
Israel doesn’t want the world to see the reality of
its genocidal onslaught in Gaza, so it’s assassinating the messengers.
In most parts of the world, wearing a flack jacket marked “press” gives you protection. But right
now in Palestine, it may as well be a target, as Israel has turned Gaza into
what the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs has
called a “cemetery for journalists.”
And you’d think mainstream corporate journalists
would talk about the targeting of journalists in Gaza, but they’re not. If
legacy media outlets like the New York Times or CNN cover Palestinian
journalists killed in Gaza, they don’t have the basic journalistic integrity to
say who killed them and fail to point out that Israel is systematically
targeting them.
Corporate media are whitewashing Israeli crimes and
playing the fool, pretending not to understand where the missiles come from.
They pretend not to hear the genocidal rhetoric emanating from Tel Aviv. And
even as Israel makes Gaza the most dangerous place in the world to be a
journalist, they ignore what is in front of their eyes, manufacturing consent
for ethnic cleansing.

Since the launch of
Al-Aqsa Flood on the 7th of October and
the subsequent Israeli onslaught on the beleaguered Gaza Strip, what has
perhaps been most notable is the response of Yemen to the ongoing slaughter.
On the 31st
of October, Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement launched a barrage of
missiles towards the southern Israeli settlement of Eilat,
with the group formally declaring the launch of a military operation in defence of Palestine shortly afterwards.
In the following weeks, this military operation
would expand to include further strikes against Israeli targets, and would
culminate in the closure of the strategic Bab al-Mandab Strait to all ships destined for Israel, with the group
announcing that any vessel defying this order would become a target.
In response, a number of global shipping giants announced that they would no longer be travelling
through the Red Sea en route to Israel, and would be taking a far more costly
route around Africa instead. A highly-impactful military operation by Ansar Allah it would seem, and one that’s all the more significant
considering that like Gaza, Yemen itself has been subjected to an almost
nine-year long genocidal war and blockade.

massacre of protesters during the 2014 Maidan coup
set the stage for the ouster of Ukraine’s elected president, Viktor Yanukovych. Now, an explosive trial in Kiev has produced
evidence the killings were a false flag designed to trigger regime change.
Two police officers charged with the mass shooting
of opposition protesters in Kiev’s Maidan Square in
2014 have been released after a Ukrainian court determined the fatal shots in
the infamous massacre were fired from an opposition-controlled building.
On October 18 2023, Ukraine’s Sviatoshyn
District Court determined that of the five officers on trial, one would be
acquitted outright, while another was sentenced to time served for alleged
“abuse of power.”
The remaining three, who no longer live in Ukraine,
were convicted in absentia on 31 counts of murder and 44 counts of attempted
murder. This, under a Supreme Court opinion stipulating suspects can be held
collectively responsible for the actions of a group deemed criminal.
The verdict means no one will face jail time, or be
in any way punished for their alleged role in the infamous Maidan
massacre, which saw over 100 protesters killed, triggered an avalanche of
international condemnation and led directly to the downfall of President Viktor
Yanukovych, who fled the country mere days later.
The trial began in Kiev in 2016, but the case
languished for years. Matters were further complicated in 2019, when Ukrainian
President Volodymyr Zelensky
traded all five of the accused for prisoners held by Donbas separatists. Two
subsequently returned on a voluntary basis to have their day in court.
Unsurprisingly, the verdict has triggered outrage
among victims’ families, and prosecution lawyers say they plan to appeal. By
contrast, the mainstream media has so far remained eerily indifferent. In an
apparent attempt to distort the trial’s outcome, several outlets — including Reuters — simply referred to the court
“sentencing” the officers in their headlines. The Kyiv Post went as
far as
falsely claiming all five had been found “guilty” of “Maidan
crimes.”
But there is more to the story than these outlets
have let on. As even the Western-funded Kyiv Independent acknowledged, “a
former top investigator” previously tasked with probing the massacre said the
verdict followed years of deliberate sabotage by Ukrainian
authorities, who “have done their best to make sure there are no real
results.”
The question of why officials in Kiev would seek to
sabotage the probe has been largely ignored by legacy media outlets. But the verdict offers some highly revealing clues.

The global pandemic preparedness accord
(‘pandemic treaty’) currently being put in place by the World Health
Organization (WHO) will pave the way for “a fascist approach to societal
management.”
The beneficiaries will be unscrupulous corporations and investors whom the
COVID‐19 response served well. This will result in the
loss of human rights and individual freedom.
So says Dr David Bell, a clinical and public health physician
with a PhD in population health and former WHO scientific and medical officer.
The treaty represents a terrifying power grab that, if successful, will give
the WHO a central directing role and monopoly power in global health
governance.
As currently drafted, the treaty will hand the WHO
the authority to order measures, including significant financial contributions
by individual states, lockdowns, travel restrictions, forced medical
examinations and mandatory vaccinations during a public health emergency of its
own declaring.
The WHO will have sole and extensive power to
declare Public Health Emergencies of International Concern (PHEIC) for any
potential or real threat for extended areas, whether these threats are
biological, climate or environment related. And it will do so without
proper proof and solely decide measures and medical substances to be imposed
on the public without informed consent.
Its powers will also include the official censorship
of information, including free speech — views opposing the official
narrative put out by the WHO — and it will be accountable to no national
parliament or be limited by any constitutional safeguards.
A group of prominent lawyers, doctors and concerned
citizens have written to Indian Prime Minister Narendra
Modi and Minister of Health and Family Welfare Shri Mansukh L Mandaviya urging them to reject the WHO’s global pandemic
treaty. The signatories are listed at the end of this article, and the 10-page
letter can be accessed in full with all relevant links and references on the
Awaken India website: WHO Pandemic Treaty Ultra Vires of the Constitution.
The WHO released a Zero Draft of the WHO CA+ (this
‘pandemic treaty’ is now officially known as an ‘accord’) with 38 Articles on 1
February 2023 and, subsequently, another draft with 41 Articles on 2 June
2023. The accord marks a fundamental change in how the WHO will function.
It seeks secretively, behind closed doors, sweeping powers under its director
general.
The signatories make clear that, under the proposed
accord, the WHO can, at will, call a pandemic, declare a PHEIC and then take
over the authority of national governments to detain citizens, restrict their
travel, require them to have vaccine passports (forced testing and vaccination)
and increase social media censorship. The accord would also operate as a
‘framework convention’ that’s on-going, year after year, indefinitely. It
facilitates a dictatorship role for the WHO as it moves to acquire unfettered
power.
Two instruments, the accord itself and amendments to
the International Health Regulations (IHR) 2005, are
designed to operate in parallel to give draconian powers to the WHO. Both texts
irremediably entail the transfer to the WHO of the power to threaten health
freedom, thereby representing a fundamental threat to national, medical and
bodily autonomy.
In their letter, the authors state that the WHO is
an external, unelected body, which may not and cannot be appointed to such a
dictatorship position. During the COVID-19 event, the WHO’s role in
facilitating medical tyranny was clear to see.

ceasefire by a more than 2:1 ratio (including the vast majority of Democrats
and a plurality of Republicans).

the House support even a temporary ceasefire, and the
United States continues to veto U.N. resolutions working towards ending the
violence. Walter Hixson, a historian concentrating on U.S.
foreign relations, told MintPress News:
Unfettered support for Israel and the lobby consistently
puts the United States at odds with international human rights organizations
and the vast majority of nations over Israel’s war crimes and blatant
violations of international law. The current U.N. vote on a ceasefire in Gaza

Here, Hixson is referring to the pro-Israel lobby, a
loose connection of influential groups that spend millions on pressure
campaigns, outreach programs, and donations to American politicians, all with
one goal in mind: making sure the United States supports the Israeli
government’s policies full stop, including backing Israeli expansion, blocking
Palestinian statehood and opposing a growing boycott divestment and sanctions
movement (BDS) at home.

support. But it still has one major backer: the United States government. Part
of this is undoubtedly down to the extraordinary lengths the lobby goes to
secure backing, including showering U.S. politicians with millions of dollars

future president was a key figure in securing record sums of U.S. aid to the Jewish

given Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a carte blanche to break any rules,

U.S. allies abandoned Washington in the U.N. General Assembly, writes Joe Lauria.
The United States is facing growing domestic and
international opposition to its support for the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Defying the U.S. and Israel, the U.N.
General Assembly voted on Tuesday, 153 nations in favor with 10 against, and 23
abstentions for an immediate end to the killing.
Most significantly, the vote on Tuesday showed a
slew of U.S. allies abandoning Washington on Gaza.
It is the second time in the past six weeks that the
Assembly voted for a permanent ceasefire. On Oct. 27, the vote was
120 in favor, 14 against and 45 abstentions.
After witnessing six more weeks of genocide, 33 more
nations — including several who almost always automatically side with the U.S.
— this time evidently had enough and voted against Washington and in favor of
an immediate halt to the slaughter.
Some U.S. allies that had abstained on Oct. 27, like
Australia, Albania, Canada, Denmark, Greece and India, on Tuesday found the
strength to oppose the U.S. to vote in favor of a ceasefire.
Three
Eyes Statement
The prime ministers of three of the Five Eyes
nations — Australia, Canada and New Zealand
(which vote in favor both times) — issued a joint statement about their yes vote:
“In defending itself, Israel must respect
international humanitarian law. Civilians and civilian infrastructure must be
protected. We are alarmed at the diminishing safe space for civilians in Gaza.
The price of defeating Hamas cannot be the continuous suffering of all
Palestinian civilians.”
Trumpeted by the Murdoch press, the Australian
rightwing is flaying Prime Minister Anthony Albanese alive for standing up to
Israel and the U.S.
The Australian newspaper quoted opposition leaders saying Albanese did it only to
avoid losing votes to the Greens; the Israeli ambassador to Australia saying
Albanese’s vote “will embolden Hamas;” and Opposition defense spokesperson
Andrew Hastie slamming the government’s “provocative” vote.

much emotion as a dour Democratic Party operative could muster, Blinken conjured up a gruesome scene intended to illustrate
the savagery of Hamas, and the impossibility of negotiations with such an
organization: “A young boy and girl, 6 and 8 years old, and their parents
around the breakfast table,” Blinken intoned. “The
father’s eye gouged out in front of his kids. The mother’s breast cut off, the
girl’s foot amputated, the boy’s fingers cut off before they were executed.”
The Secretary of State concluded, “That is what this
[Israeli] society is dealing with.”
Though Blinken did not
state the source of his disturbing claim – and was not prompted to do so by any
senator – it matched testimony delivered by Yossi
Landau, the head of operations for the southern Israel region of a religious
“disaster victim identification” organization called ZAKA. Indeed, Landau has
rehashed various forms of the story Blinken
referenced since October 12, detailing how Hamas militants viciously mutilated
and killed a 6 and 8 year-old child and their parents in Kibbutz Beeri before dining in their home.
Despite the presence of multiple potential witnesses
inside Beeri before ZAKA arrived to collect dead
bodies, independent testimony corroborating Landau’s claim has yet to surface.
Further, there are no recorded deaths of siblings around the age of 6 to 8 in Beeri on October 7. Any record of a young child killed in
the manner Landau described is similarly nonexistent, as are photos of the
murdered family he described. In fact, the only siblings anywhere close to this
age range who died in the community on that day—12-year-old twins Liel and Yanai Hetrzroni—were killed by Israeli tank shelling.

independent state? Never!
4. More than 500,000 Jews were forcibly
expelled from Morocco and other North African and Middle East states, to
Israel, after 1948, which served to balance the 3/4 million dispossessed
Palestinians in 1948.
In fact, the large
Jewish population of Morocco was never expelled. They had excellent relations
with the national Arab community, although they
eventually decided to leave voluntarily. Other Jewish communities in Africa/
Middle East, decided likewise. However, some
communities were offered money by the new Israeli state, to emigrate there.
Only a very few were forced to leave their country of birth and that was only
because there was then a Jewish state that claimed their loyalty, albeit a
state rejected by the Muslim world.

Australia switches off to take its long summer break, Indonesia is seized by
election fever. On 14 February 2024, over 200 million Indonesians will decide
who to elect as their new president, members of parliament, provincial and
municipal representatives.
Of the
three men who seek to be Indonesia’s next president, one stands out. Not
because he is Indonesia’s Barack Obama, but for less flattering reasons. The candidate in question is Prabowo Subianto.
Prabowo differs from his competitors in the
presidential race, Ganjar Pranowo
and Anies Baswedan, in
significant ways. These include his pre-Reformasi
connection to the discredited Suharto era, his military record, particularly
during Indonesia’s war in East Timor, his disregard for the rule of law and a
suspect human rights record.
In addition, Prabowo has
run for high office at least twice before but has never been elected to any
position nor had legislative experience.
By contrast, his rivals are far less shopworn, a
shortcoming Prabowo is trying to compensate for by
appointing a much younger Indonesian as his running mate.
The much younger Ganjar
and Anies come from civil society, have strong
academic, legislative and governance credentials, are not compromised by human
rights accusations and were not involved in violence in East Timor.
They represent the fresh, post-Reformasi,
modern Indonesia that can showcase the best of Indonesia and position it to be
the kind of leader the world needs.
Prabowo’s democratic deficits are referenced in
the Indonesian media, particularly social media. Oddly, however, Indonesian and
Australian media are largely silent on his record in East Timor. This omission
serves Prabowo, but not the electorate. It leaves
voters in the dark on an extended period that reveals a lot about his practices
and values which, arguably, may characterise his
presidency were he to be elected.
Indonesians don’t need to be told how to vote. But
to exercise one’s democratic duty responsibly, voters should have access to the
full picture in order to judge whether a candidate is fit and proper to lead
their important nation and represent it to the world.

lied to about Covid appeared to think that such a
thing had never happened before. This led me to wonder if there were criteria
by which people could identify a state-sponsored deception as it was happening.
Covid and 9/11 might be
called state crimes against democracy, false flag operations, or structural
deep events.
For the purpose of this essay, I’ll simply call them “state crimes” although
it’s worth mentioning that both 9/11 and Covid were
global state crimes. That is, they were crimes committed by multiple states
acting in concert.
Along with this we must understand that, in today’s
world, nation states no longer drive politics as much as transnational
corporations do.
With 9/11, U.S.-based authorities led the
implementation of both the terror acts and the ensuing wars. But the U.S had
help from other states and the ensuing 9/11 wars were conducted by a “coalition
of the willing” as George W. Bush put it.
Similarly, the crimes of Covid,
including lockdowns, oppressive dictates, and mandatory vaccines, were
committed by a number of states across a broad spectrum of governmental
entities.
What does a state crime look like when it’s
happening? How do we know when we’re being manipulated by our leaders in ways
that are seriously detrimental to our lives and well-being? Is there a
pattern to global state crimes that can be noticed and understood, like
the formula for terrorism acts used in the Global War on Terror?
It’s important to know the pattern of state crimes
because those who don’t know can be misled into doing serious harm to
themselves and their families. But it’s not easy to see such a thing in the
moment. People can often see signs but can’t piece them together into a
cohesive whole quickly enough to make a difference in related judgements. As an example, note that 70% of the world’s population
injected themselves with an experimental gene therapy for a virus that has a
0.2% infection fatality rate and a median age of death of 80 years. The result
has been innumerable adverse events from the injections.
Once we decide that it’s important to know when a
state crime is being committed, it’s useful to begin putting the pieces
together to understand the overall picture. A jigsaw puzzle could be a helpful
analogy but in the case of a state crime it is a living, social, and
psychological jigsaw puzzle with dangerous consequences.
There are various strategies and challenges in
putting a jigsaw puzzle together. Should you start with the framework or at
places in the middle? Do you allow yourself to look at the picture on the box?
Have you ever tried to do it with all the pieces upside down?
One difference between a physical puzzle and an
unfolding state crime is that we don’t need to start from nothing. This is
where the context of history is essential and, in many ways, provides the
framework in which current pieces fit. For example, there is a long list of
well-documented and admitted state crimes against the people that have led us
to this point. Not all were global state crimes but yet the mechanisms of how
they were committed, meaning the ways in which people are misled into going
along with such crimes, follow a similar pattern.

It doesn’t even matter what the nature of the crisis
might be—civil unrest, the national emergencies, “unforeseen economic
collapse, loss of functioning political and legal order, purposeful
domestic resistance or insurgency, pervasive public health emergencies, and catastrophic natural and human
disasters”—as long as it allows the government to justify all manner of
government tyranny in the name of so-called national security.
The country would then be subjected to martial law
by default, and the Constitution and the Bill of Rights would be suspended.
For all intents and purposes, the Constitution has
long been suspended, and we’ve been operating in a state of martial law for some
time now.
The emergency powers that we know about which presidents might claim during such
states of emergency are vast, ranging from imposing martial law and suspending
habeas corpus to shutting down all forms of communications, including
implementing an internet kill switch, and restricting travel.
Yet according to documents obtained by the Brennan Center, there may be many more secret powers
that presidents may institute in times of so-called crisis without oversight
from Congress, the courts, or the public.
Deploying the same strategy it used with 9/11 to
acquire greater powers under the USA Patriot Act, the police state—a.k.a. the
shadow government, a.k.a. the Deep State—has been planning and preparing for such crises
for years now,
quietly assembling a wish list of presidential lockdown powers that could be
trotted out and approved at a moment’s notice.
Indeed, President Trump’s administration even asked
Congress to allow it to suspend parts of the Constitution whenever
it deems it necessary during the COVID-19 crisis and “other” emergencies. The
Department of Justice (DOJ) went so far as to quietly trot out and test a long
laundry list of terrifying powers that override the Constitution.
We’re talking about lockdown powers (at both the
federal and state level): the ability to suspend the Constitution, indefinitely detain American citizens,
bypass the courts, quarantine whole communities or segments of the population,
override the First Amendment by outlawing religious gatherings and assemblies
of more than a few people, shut down entire industries and manipulate the
economy, muzzle dissidents, “stop and seize any plane, train or automobile to
stymie the spread of contagious disease,” reshape financial markets, create a
digital currency (and thus further restrict the use of cash), determine who
should live or die.
Bear in mind that the powers the government officially asked Congress to
recognize and authorize barely scratch the surface of the far-reaching powers
the government has already unilaterally claimed for itself.
Unofficially, the police state with the president at
its helm has been riding roughshod over the rule of law for years now without
any pretense of being reined in or restricted in its power grabs by Congress,
the courts or the citizenry.

As I watched the first twenty minutes of this
opening episode, I was inwardly screaming, feeling deep in my soul how
powerfully the film was capturing the essence of the dynamic, prophetic, and
charismatic voices of JFK, Malcolm X, MLK, Jr., and RFK. All shot down –
we hear the gun shots – by deep state forces, even as the film artfully juxtaposes
this brutality against video clips of new reports, images of advertisements for
silly products, and television shows that kept most of the public entertained
and distracted during the 1960s carnage. Doing the Hokey Pokey, as the
soundtrack plays it, but not turning around in a profound sense, as did the
four who died trying to radically change the country and the world for the
better. Simply as film art, this documentary is ingenious. And its
use of music is great.

defended border in the world. And it committed both sides to pursuing

Chinese President Xi Jinping bluntly told

their recent summit in San Francisco that Beijing will reunify Taiwan with
mainland China but that the timing has not yet been
decided, according to three current and former U.S. officials.
An NBC News report said:
Xi told Biden in a group meeting attended by a
dozen American and Chinese officials that China’s preference
is to take Taiwan peacefully, not by force, the officials said.
The Chinese leader also referenced public predictions by U.S. military leaders
who say that Xi plans to take Taiwan in 2025 or 2027, telling Biden
that they were wrong because he has not set a time frame, according to the
two current and one former official briefed on the meeting.
Chinese officials also asked in advance of
the summit that Biden make a public statement after the
meeting saying that the U.S. supports China’s goal of peaceful
unification with Taiwan and does not support Taiwanese independence, they
said. The White House rejected the Chinese request.
A spokesperson for the U.S. National Security
Council declined to comment.
The revelations provide previously unreported
details about a critical meeting between the two leaders that was intended to
reduce tensions between their countries.
The NBC News report said:
Xi’s private warning to Biden, while not
markedly different from his past public
comments on
reunifying Taiwan, got the attention of U.S. officials because it was delivered
at a time when China’s behavior toward Taiwan is seen as increasingly
aggressive and ahead of a potentially pivotal presidential election
in the self-governing democratic island next month.
After the initial publication of this story, Sen.
Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., issued a statement calling for Republicans and
Democrats to work together to deter China.
“This story as reported is beyond unnerving,” Graham
said. “I will be working with Democratic and Republican Senators to do two
things quickly. First, create a robust defense supplemental for Taiwan and
second, draft pre-invasion sanctions from hell to impose on China if they take
action to seize Taiwan.”
Officials familiar with the conversation between
Biden and Xi described the Chinese leader as blunt and candid, but not
confrontational.
“His language was no different than what he has
always said. He is always tough on Taiwan. He has always had a tough line,” said
a U.S. official with knowledge of the conversation.
Xi’s saber-rattling on Taiwan has been a top concern
for Biden administration officials, who are aggressively trying to avoid a
military conflict with China.
At last year’s Chinese Communist Party Congress,
Xi stated publicly that China would attack Taiwan
militarily if it declares independence with foreign support. The Chinese leader
said the threat of force “is directed solely at interference by outside forces
and the few separatists seeking” Taiwanese independence.

The top-down reorganization of the world
economy by a cabal of technocratic corporativists,
led by the group around the Davos World Economic
Forum– the so-called Great Reset or UN Agenda 2030– is
no future proposal. It is well into actualization as the world remains in
insane lockdown for a virus. The hottest investment area since onset of the coronavirus global lockdowns is something called ESG
investing.
This highly subjective and very controlled game
is dramatically shifting global capital flows into a select group of “approved”
corporate stocks and bonds. Notably it advances the dystopian UN Agenda 2030 or
the WEF Great Reset agenda. The development is one of the most dangerous and
least understood shifts in at least the past century.
The UN “sustainable economy” agenda is being
realized quietly by the very same global banks which have created the financial
crises in 2008. This time they are preparing the Klaus Schwab WEF Great Reset
by steering hundreds of billions and soon trillions in investment to their
hand-picked “woke” companies, and away from the “not woke” such as oil and gas
companies or coal.
What the bankers and giant investment funds like BlackRock have done is to create a new investment
infrastructure that picks “winners” or “losers” for investment according to how
serious that company is about ESG—Environment, Social values and Governance.
For example a company gets positive ratings for the
seriousness of its hiring gender diverse management and employees, or takes
measures to eliminate their carbon “footprint” by making their energy sources
green or sustainable to use the UN term. How corporations contribute to a global sustainable governance is the most vague of the
ESG, and could include anything from corporate donations to Black Lives Matter
to supporting UN agencies such as WHO.
The crucial central goal of ESG strategists is to
create a shift to inefficient and costly alternative energy, the Zero Carbon
promised utopia. It is being driven by the world’s major financial institutions
and central banks. They have created a dazzling array of organizations to drive
their green investing agenda.
In 2013, well before the coronavirus,
the major Wall Street bank, Morgan Stanley, created its own Institute for
Sustainable Investing. This was soon expanded in 2015 when Morgan Stanley
joined the Steering Committee of the Partnership for Carbon Accounting
Financials (PCAF). On its website the they state,
“PCAF is based upon
the Paris Climate Agreement’s position that the global community should strive
to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels and that society
should decarbonize and reach net zero emissions by
2050.”
By 2020 the PCAF had more than 100 banks and
financial institutions including ABN Amro, Nat West,
Lloyds Bank, Barclays, Bank of America, Citi Group,
CIBC, Danske Bank and others. Several of the PCAF member banks
have been indicted in money laundering cases. Now they sense a new role as virtue-models
to change the world economy, if we are to believe the rhetoric. Notably, former
Bank of England Governor, Mark Carney is an “Observer” or consultant to the
PCAF.
In August 2020 the PCAF published a draft standard
outlining a proposed approach for global carbon accounting. This means the
bankers are creating their own accounting rules for how to rate or value a
company’s carbon footprint or green profile.
The Central Role of Mark Carney
Mark Carney is at the center of reorganizing world
finance to back the UN 2030 green agenda behind the WEF Davos
Great Reset, where he is a member of the Board of Trustees. He also is Adviser
to the UN Secretary General as United Nations Special Envoy for Climate Action.
He has described the PCAF plan as follows:
“To achieve net zero
we need a whole economy transition – every company, every bank, every insurer
and investor will have to adjust their business models, develop credible plans
for the transition and implement them. For financial firms, that means reviewing
more than the emissions generated by their own business activity. They must
measure and report the emissions generated by the companies they invest in and
lend to. PCAF’s work to standardise the approach to
measuring financed emissions is an important step to ensuring that every financial decision
takes climate change into account.”

9/11 False Flag
This article which focusses on the 9/11 False Flag is of utmost

On September 11,
2001, Afghanistan was identified as a “state sponsor of terror”, without

attacks “an act of war” and President Bush confirmed in an evening televised

who committed these acts and those who harbor them”.
Former CIA Director James Woolsey pointed his
finger at “state sponsorship,” implying the complicity of one or more foreign
governments. In the words of former National Security Adviser, Lawrence
Eagleburger, “I think we will show when we get attacked like this, we are
terrible in our strength and in our retribution.”
Meanwhile, parroting official statements, the
Western media mantra had approved the launching of “punitive actions” directed

“5G Danger: 13 Reasons 5G Wireless Technology Will
Be a Catastrophe for Humanity”

The 5G danger can’t be overstated.
5G (5th Generation)
is now being actively rolled out in many cities around the world.
Simultaneously, as awareness over its horrific health and privacy impacts is
rising, many places are issuing moratoriums on it or banning it, such as the
entire nation of Belgium, the city of Vaud (Switzerland) and San Francisco
(USA). Radiofrequency radiation (RF or RFR) and electromagnetic fields (EMF)
are being increasingly recognized as new types of pollution – environmental
pollution. Here are 13 reasons exposing the 5G danger, which could turn into an
unmitigated health and privacy catastrophe if enough people don’t rise up to
stop it.
1. 5G
Danger: Hijacking Your Sweat Duct Antennae
The 5G network uses and broadcasts frequencies which
affect our sweat ducts, which act as antennae. In other words, our largest
organ, the skin, can be influenced and manipulated by 5G. As I reported in this
the article 5G and IoT: Total
Technological Control Grid Being Rolled Out Fast, scientist Dr. Ben-Ishai
exposed the connection between 5G and our body’s sweat ducts in this video:
“[The 5G frequencies]
will zap [us] with wavelengths that will interact with the geometrical
structure of our skin … We found that sweat ducts work like helical
antennas … the sweat duct was an integral part of the mechanism for the
absorption of energy, electromagnetic, between 75-100 GHz, and that if you
changed the character of the sweat duct, i.e. made it work, you could actually
change that absorption at some point, and if you could do that you could trace
how a person is under stress.“
2. 5G Danger: 5G Amplifies EMF Damage via VGCCs
Wireless radiation and EMF scientist Dr. Martin
Pall has done groundbreaking research in explaining exactly how EMFs cause
premature aging and injury to the human body, including damage to fertility,
brains, hearts and even DNA! He pioneered research showing how EMFs activate
the body’s VGCCs (Voltage-gated calcium channels) which causes them to release
excess calcium ions into the cell. This then leads to nitric oxide (NO) and
superoxide which react nearly instantaneously to form peroxynitrite
and free radicals. Many studies like this show peroxynitrite
damages DNA. Dr. Pall has stated
unequivocally that
the “5G rollout is absolutely insane.”

“The Global Virome Project
(GVP) and ‘The China Connection’”

The team
was assembled to stop a pandemic — and then disappeared.
In August 2016, a
group of public health experts, policymakers and donors met in the Rockefeller
Foundation’s Bellagio Conference Center overlooking Lake Como. Their aim was
ambitious: to agree on “bold global action” that would mark the “beginning of
the end of the pandemic era”. In other words, they hoped to find which viruses
might cause the next pandemic, and get a head start on developing vaccines and
drugs.
Known as the Global Virome
Project, the scheme was officially launched in February 2018. By 2019, it had
appointed a board of directors and made the “transition to a legal and
operational reality”, according to an email from its head. Yet when a pandemic
did break out at the end of that year, instead of leaping into action the
Global Virome Project fell silent. It made no
announcements, issued no press releases, arranged no
public events.
Today, its website is an online zombie. In the
greatest pandemic in a century, caused by exactly the sort of novel emerging
virus it was designed to predict and prevent, it lists just three publications
on its website, one of which is a dead link and the others four and
six-years-old. Its “in the news” page lists no article after April 2021. What
happened?
Using embassy cables, emails released under freedom
of information, and government reports, we have pieced together the history of
this wide-ranging international collaborative project and how it vanished just
when it was most needed.
The seeds of the project were sown between 2009 and
2019, when the US government funded a big push into virus hunting in wildlife
in tropical regions through a programme called
PREDICT. When this funding came to an end, the main players got together to seek private and
charitable funding to continue the work. These included, from government, Dennis
Carrol, director of the Emerging Pandemic Threats
Division within the United States Agency for International Development; from
academia, Jonna Mazet of
the University of California at Davis, who had been director of the PREDICT
project; from the non-profit world, Peter Daszak,
head of the EcoHealth Alliance, who became treasurer
of the new project; and from the private sector, Nathan Wolfe, founder of the
DNA database firm Metabiota.
The first meeting of the GVP’s steering committee
took place in Beijing in January 2017. George Fu Gao, the incoming head of the Chinese Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention, was quick out of the blocks with China’s
contribution to the GVP, overseeing the rapid creation of the China National Virome Project. It was formed so quickly that by August
2017 Eddy Rubin, chief scientific officer at Metabiota,
wrote: “The project appears to be moving
faster than expected with a China component already funded and poised to
generate data”.
However, as the GVP was preparing to launch, some
scientists had misgivings: did the project even make sense?
As two Australian virologists told a reporter for
the Atlantic, the work was
“unlikely to be informative in predicting the next pandemic”. Spotting the one
virus among millions that might cause a pandemic would make finding needles in
haystacks look easy. “What you’re trying to predict is likely something that
happens maybe once out of tens of billions of encounters, with one virus out of
millions of potential viruses. You will lose your fight against the numbers,”
said Jemma Geoghan and Ed
Holmes.
Other virologists shared their doubts. “Making promises about disease
prevention… that cannot be kept will only further undermine trust,” wrote Dr
Holmes, in a joint article with Edinburgh University’s Andrew Rambaut and the Scripps Institute’s Kristian
Andersen. “I still fail to see at this point how it’s going to better prepare
the human race for the next infectious disease that jumps from animals to
humans,” wrote Michael Osterholm, the director of the
University of Minnesota’s Center for Infectious Diseases Research and Policy.
Nonetheless, ignoring these awkward objections, the
GVP team pressed ahead with the project. It was formally launched in February
2018, with an article in Science
magazine, authored by Carrol, Daszak,
Wolfe, Gao and Mazet with four others. China was poised to play the
leading role. “Funding has been identified to support an initial administrative
hub, and fieldwork is planned to begin in the first two countries, China and
Thailand, during 2018,” the article declared.
In a cable from September 2017, Ping Chen, director
of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases office in the US
embassy in Beijing, had reported that the China part of the project was being
funded by grants from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Shi Zhengli of the Wuhan
Institute of Virology (WIV), China’s leading coronavirus
virologist, was quoted in the cable as saying: “CAS has already allocated
funding for GVP-related research”.
Wang Zhengwu, of the
Department of International Affairs at CAS, was further quoted as saying “CAS
is working on a process and mechanism to support Chinese scientists with
backing from the Ministry of Sciences and Technology and The National Natural
Science Foundation of China (NSFC) for Global Virome
Project type research”.
Sure enough in January 2018, Shi Zhengli
received two research grants, one each from NSFC and CAS to study the risk of
cross infection of humans by bat-borne SARS-like coronaviruses.
It appears the Wuhan Institute had already been entrusted with the main work of
the China National Virome Project.
In April 2018, confirming the link between this work
and the GVP, a US embassy cable noted that “The Wuhan Institute of Virology’s
Shi Zhengli… is the forerunner to the Global Virome Project.”
Meanwhile, in March 2018, the EcoHealth
Alliance, WIV and others had submitted a joint proposal to DARPA, the
Pentagon’s research funding agency.
It included a section in which the researchers
detailed plans to introduce a genetic sequence called a furin
cleavage site into novel SARS-like viruses to increase their ability to infect
cells in the laboratory and make them easier to grow. This is the very sequence
that has turned up in the virus causing Covid, and in
no other SARS-like coronavirus.
The proposal, titled DEFUSE, was turned down by
DARPA. Shortly after, however, a “Special Project” was initiated by the CAS
with Shi Zhengli in charge for one of the
subprojects. The scope largely corresponds and overlaps with the GVP and
Project DEFUSE.
The goal was to “change the passive response
situation of emerging infectious diseases to active monitoring and early
warning”, “explore and identify pathogens with potential risks of infecting
humans, studying their ability to invade different host cells and their
replication ability in different host cells”, and “analyse
the key molecules affecting its cross-species infection and its pathogenic
mechanism”. In November 2018, at a conference in Bangkok, Hongying
Li, the coordinator for the China National Virome Project, showed a slide of the “GVP viral database model”.
It included “virus isolation”, the technical term for growing live viruses in
the lab.
Some have therefore speculated that the unfunded
DEFUSE project could have continued with funding from the CAS. In a recent Vanity Fair article, the prominent Pasteur Institute
virologist Simon Wain-Hobson was quoted as saying
that “it is possible the WIV would have wanted to copy what it viewed as
cutting-edge science”.
The output of the GVP was intended to be a global
database of all viruses collected, available to the world.
“I believe that our Chinese side can make our great
contributions for the development of GVP database system and data portal by the
support from China CDC and CAS,” George Fu Gao noted in an email.

But there was unease in the West about this. As a
State Department cable put it:
“Who will own the samples that are collected from
many countries? Where will they be analysed? Will all
the GVP data be freely available to the public?”
Another US embassy cable noted: “Other countries…
are skeptical on whether China could remain transparent as a “gatekeeper” for
this information.” Eddy Rubin was more blunt: “There
is a concern about data sharing if only China takes the lead.”
They were right to be concerned. By 17 July 2019,
the Wuhan Institute of Virology had built one of the world’s largest databases
of bat and rodent viruses, holding more than 22,000 samples and data entries of
pathogens. It has repeatedly refused to share this data with international scientists since the pandemic
began. Some of those viruses were collected with funding from US taxpayer
dollars, and some samples were collected from countries neighbouring
China, such as Laos.
On 12 September 2019, this database was suddenly
taken offline. The Institute has not published any details of the SARS-like
viruses they were studying after 2016, claiming that people were trying to hack
the database. This, of course, makes no sense: sharing data, as intended, makes
hacking unnecessary.

The mindfucking started in

not the Covidian cultists who they had already mindfucked, the other people, who they hadn’t been able to mindfuck. It was obvious that we were about to be subjected
to The
Mother of All Limited Hangouts.
If your memory of what actually happened (and didn’t
actually happen) in 2020 is little hazy, here’s an excerpt from that column,
which I published in January.
“In March and April of 2020, in the course of
roughly five to six weeks, the majority of societies throughout the world were
transformed into pathologized-totalitarian police
states. A global ‘shock-and-awe’ campaign was conducted. Constitutional rights
were suspended. The masses were locked down inside their homes, where they were
subjected to the most massive official propaganda blitzkrieg in human history.
Goon squads roamed the streets of Europe, the USA, the UK, Canada, Australia,
Asia, the Americas, and elsewhere, beating and arresting people for being
outdoors without permission and not wearing medical-looking masks. Corporate
media around the world informed us that life as we knew it was over … a ‘New
Normal’ was coming, and we needed to get used to it. The entire official
pandemic narrative was rolled out during those first few weeks. Everything. Masks. Mandatory ‘vaccines.’ ‘Vaccination passes.’ The segregation of ‘the Unvaccinated.’ The
censorship and demonization of dissent. Everything.
The whole ‘New Normal’ package. It was rolled out all
at once, globally.”
Now, over three years later, the facts are
indisputably clear to everyone but the hopelessly brainwashed. There was no

Nations, the World Economic Forum, the Rockefeller Foundation, the Bill &
Melinda Gates Foundation, and other benevolent reservoirs of international
altruism dedicated to creating a safe, convenient, equitable, inclusive, and
extremely sustainable world.

Digital public infrastructure (DPI) is a shared
means to many ends. It is a critical enabler of digital transformation and is
helping to improve public service delivery at scale. Designed and implemented
well, it can help countries achieve their national priorities and accelerate
the Sustainable Development Goals.
Governments, donors, the private sector and civil
society alike have an opportunity to shape it—join us!
Now for the Rockefeller Foundation’s definition:
DPI is a digital approach that enables essential
society-wide functions to promote economic and social growth for everyone—not
just those who can afford access.
Its immediate uses are many, including emergency
payments to climate refugees via cell phones, immediate telehealth
and records access, a digital ID that speeds access to social benefits, and
more.
Here’s how the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation explains
this wholesome digital initiative:
When COVID-19 accelerated digital transformation
globally, it highlighted the difference between strong and weak digital
infrastructure. Countries have a narrow window to ensure they have digital
networks that safely and efficiently deliver economic opportunities and social
services to all residents. This is digital public infrastructure.
And last but not least, the World Economic Forum’s hot
take on DPI:
Digital Public Infrastructure is crucial in
addressing important global challenges such as climate change and the need for
responsive and effective public finance. […]
An infrastructure-first approach using DPIs holds
the promise for us to imagine an inclusive digital future that harnesses the
power of society, governments and businesses, while being innovative,
contextually relevant and scalable to serve people and our planet.
DPIs in identification and payments have shortened
the adoption and inclusion curve significantly.
If we remove the extraneous word salad from the
above blockquotes, the driving philosophy behind DPI
can be summarized as:
Cattle-tags aren’t just safe and convenient, they’re a human right.
I am pointing this out because Vladimir Putin announced at
November’s G20 summit that “the development of digital public infrastructure”
was a “priority” for the Russian Federation.
