horrendous orgy of death and destruction we are experiencing today, compliments
of late monopoly capitalism, brings with it enlightenment and self-knowledge
for some people. We see the slow shift from facile “identity politics” to “class-conscious”
perceptions that challenge the monopoly control of capitalist power centers
around the world.
Class solidarity is an essential element in this struggle, if we are to avoid becoming “useful idiots” in our own destruction and that of society.
The

How US
and British authorities are bending the law and undermining press freedom.
“Those who tell the truth need a fast horse,” says an
Armenian proverb. Or they need a society that protects the truth and its
messengers. But this protection, which our democracies claim to offer, is in
danger. As a journalist, Julian Assange has published
hundreds of thousands of files documenting war crimes committed by the USA and
its allies in Afghanistan, Iraq, Guantanamo and elsewhere. The authenticity of
the documents is beyond question. However, none of the perpetrators have been
brought to justice or convicted. In contrast, the messenger has been
incarcerated in a high-security prison in London for five years with
life-threatening health problems, having previously spent seven years locked up
in the Ecuadorian embassy. He has been charged with no crime in the UK, in any
EU country or in his home country of Australia. The only reason for his
grueling deprivation of liberty is that the US government has initiated
extradition proceedings accusing the journalist Assange
of espionage, invoking a law dating back more than a hundred years to the First
World War: the Espionage Act.
Never before has a journalist been charged under
this law. The extradition process therefore sets a dangerous precedent. If it
is successful, every journalist on Earth who exposes US war crimes would have
to fear suffering the same fate as Assange. That
would be the end of freedom of the press as we know it. Because
it is based on the capacity to bring to light the dark sides of power without
fear of punishment. Where this freedom is extinguished, it is not only
the freedom of journalists that dies, but the freedom of us all: the freedom
from the arbitrariness of power.

challenge to extradite Julian Assange from the U.K.

the United States”.
On April 20, 2022, a UK magistrates
court formally approved the extradition of Julian Assange
to the US “on espionage charges”.
Two days ago, Assange’s
final appeal hearing began in the UK’s High Court.

It’s Day X. Hearings are happening in the United
Kingdom to determine whether Julian Assange will be
extradited to the United States. His lawyers are trying to convince the UK’s
High Court of Justice to permit an appeal hearing. If the court declines, it’s
very likely that Assange will be extradited within
days and face trial here.
The long case of Julian Assange
has been a travesty of justice. While Assange spent
years stuck in the Ecuadorian embassy, and now over 5 years in terrible
conditions in Belmarsh Prison, known as Britain’s
Guantanamo Bay, those who committed the crimes he exposed still walk free. All
along the way, the UK and U.S. governments have violated the rights of Assange and his supporters.

At dawn on
June 14, 1967 a battered American intelligence-gathering ship, the USS Liberty limped into the Grand Harbor
at Valletta, Malta.
Six days earlier it had been attacked and almost
sunk by Israeli air and naval forces while in international waters 13 miles off
the coast of Egypt. Fewer than a third of the ship’s
complement of 294 escaped death or injury in what survivors are convinced was a
deliberate attempt by the Israelis to sink the ship with all hands.
What was the ship doing there? Though a naval ship
manned by naval crew, the Liberty
was a state-of-the art intelligence gathering ship. Bristling with radio
antennae, its National Security Agency (NSA) staff below decks could eavesdrop
on radio communications in nearby countries. On board were NSA linguists able
to intercept and understand communications in Russian and Arabic. In response
to rising tensions between Israel and its Arab neighbors, the Liberty had been sent to the Eastern
Mediterranean from its previous location off the coast of West Africa.
The ship arrived at its destination just in time for
the beginning of the ‘six-day-war’ on June 5, in which Israel inflicted
devastating surprise attacks on the air forces of Egypt, Syria, Jordan and
Iraq, destroying hundreds of planes before they could get off the ground.
Israel now occupied the Sinai Peninsula, the Gaza Strip, East Jerusalem and the
West Bank. Only Syria was still resisting; Israel had not yet taken the Golan
Heights. This would have involved rushing troops and materiel north from Sinai
to the Syrian border, for which secrecy was essential. The presence of the Liberty therefore posed a threat to
the completion of General Dyan’s plans.

Mustafa Ali Hamed Muammar is my cousin.
Mustafa is director
of the Jusur Alamal association for
special education.
In 2006, he was
arrested from his family’s home in Gaza, along with two brothers, on charges of
belonging to a resistance group. His brothers were released but he was
sentenced to 10 years in prison.
This is his story, in
his words:
In the crisp April air of 2016, I emerged from a
decade-long imprisonment hopeful of a fresh start.
For years, I had clung to the promise of freedom,
envisioning a future filled with the embrace of family life.
I worked to establish myself, finally ending up with
the Jusur Alamal school for special education, working with, and for,
children with disabilities.
It was rewarding.
And with my dear wife, Arkan,
we started a family with hope and love.
I had a few years of taking my first steps into the
world beyond Israeli prison walls.
But one fateful night in October last year, the
night sky erupted in a cacophony of chaos and destruction.
Israeli warplanes, like dark angels of death,
descended upon our neighborhood, reducing homes to rubble and lives to mere
shadows of their former selves.
In the madness that ensued, I found myself fleeing
for safety to the European Hospital in Khan Younis,
unable to reach my home.
But there, I was met there with yet another onslaught
of devastation.
Everything has now been taken from me.
Israeli missiles, in their indiscriminate fury, tore
through the fabric of my existence, snatching away the lives of my beloved
mother Naima, 68, Arkan,
32, and my innocent children Batoul, 7, Ali, 5, and
Hani, 2.

Four
years ago in 2018, after returning from a Veterans For
Peace trip to Viet Nam, I wrote an article called “Why
Would Anyone Kill One’s Self In an Attempt to Stop A War?
Now, four years later, in the past three months, two
persons in the United States have taken their own lives in an attempt to change
U.S. policies on Palestine and call for a Ceasefire and stop U.S. funding to
the State of Israel that would be used to kill in the Israeli genocide of Gaza.
An yet unidentified woman, wrapped in a Palestinian flag, set herself on fire
in front of the Israeli consulate in Atlanta, Georgia on December 1, 2023.
Three months later authorities have yet to release the name of the woman.
This week, on Sunday, February 25, 2024, active duty
U.S. Air Force Aaron Bushnell, set himself on fire at the Israeli Embassy in Washington,
DC, while he was stating “Free Palestine and Stop the Genocide.”

A Palestinian
from northern Gaza, where over half a million live in Israeli-imposed famine,
speaks about the fear of imminent death from starvation.
The famine in northern Gaza,
caused by Israel's strangling
siege, has reached extreme levels, Palestinian
residents there have told Middle East Eye. There have been several reports of people dying
from malnutrition, including infants.
Life for over half a
million people there now revolves around a single task every day: finding
something to eat. In this following account, a resident of Gaza City, who did
not wish to be named, recounts to MEE's Lubna Masarwa
the struggle to survive in a war-torn city.
Things are difficult. Getting anything has become a
difficult task, even simple things like sugar, salt and rice.
We go on looking for them everywhere, even in old
shops and abandoned homes. If and when we find them in shops, they are sold at
crazy prices.
About four days ago, around 800 bags of wheat flour
came in. There are up to 700,000 people in northern Gaza. This means one bag
for around every 1,000 people or so.

I desire a life like yours, but I am forced to
choose between my country, my family, a home. I want
them all.
I miss my home, the scent of it, resting in bed. The
morning sun would shine on my bed, the rain would streak down my window
in winter.
My siblings and I would watch TV in the living room,
chatting while our mom cooked in the kitchen.
I want my father to once again enter our home and
call for us all to gather. I want to tell him to remember to take off his shoes
at the front door, something he always forgets to do.
Our home was a tranquil place and I long for it.
Inside, you could hear the sea.
Our balcony was full of plants and flowers that
grew lush.
These are the things I dream of. I want to return to
this life I used to have, to mend everything the war has destroyed.
I need a home to feel like a human. A home is not a
luxury, it is a fundamental need.
I no longer have a room to myself, a kitchen, a
window – not even a door.

“‘Kidnapped’
posters serve genocidal sentiment”

They are
instantly recognizable: sporting a stark red, white, and black color scheme,
with the word “Kidnapped” in capital letters, a series of visually arresting
posters depicting Israeli captives taken during the launching of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on 7 October have been spotted all across the
globe.
According to the KidnappedFromIsrael
website, the posters were created by New York-based Israeli
artists Nitzan Mintz and Dede Bandaid and designed by Tal
Huber (owner and designer of Israeli branding company Giraff) and Shira Gershoni.
Mintz and Bandaid insist the “Kidnapped” posters are not political. The
Kidnapped website states the campaign’s goal is simply to
“maximize awareness” and advises volunteers who post the posters not to
“provoke or instigate conflicts with people or officials.”
Yet whatever the verity behind the campaign’s
proclaimed intent, these posters have played a concerning role in the targeting
of activists for Palestine across the country, who are increasingly being
subjected to harassment and doxxing in a post-7 October climate of intense
backlash to support for Palestinian freedom that has been described as a “new McCarthyism.”
The “Kidnapped” posters have not only been used in a
confrontational fashion against pro-Palestine
demonstrations. They have also become a focal point for the doxxing
of individuals who choose to remove them from public spaces, a process that has
been greatly enabled by media outlets such as the New York Post.
Artists 4 Israel is an organization that opposes the Palestinian boycott, divestment and sanctions
(BDS) call. The organization, which claims to “prevent the spread of anti-Israel
bigotry through art,” recently funded a 2,500 square foot display of the posters in Culver City in
response to the posters being taken down.
Artists 4 Israel has previously teamed up with Taglit-Birthright to host hip hop tours whitewashing Israel’s colonial and apartheid violence
against Palestinians.
Blacklist
sites
Doxxing refers to the sharing of personal
information online, often to initiate harassment campaigns and even threaten
employment status. It has been a strategy of anti-Palestinian repression since
at least 2015, when Canary Mission, the then newly-launched online blacklist
site, urged its viewers to “ensure that today’s radicals are
not tomorrow’s employees.”
Individuals filmed taking down the “Kidnapped”
posters have faced various outcomes, including being fired from their jobs.
And anti-Palestinian blacklist sites, new and old,
seem to be coalescing around the posters as a new pretext for directing
harassment.
“Learn who these ‘Kidnapped poster’ rippers are,”
the aforementioned Canary Mission states on a page dedicated to targeting individuals who have taken
down “Kidnapped” posters.
The blacklist group StopAntisemitism,
which appears to be behind much of the internet doxxing,
has been offering “rewards” of $1,000 for viewers to
identify anyone filmed removing posters.
JewBelong, a registered non-profit that has engaged in targeted digital harassment of
pro-Palestine activists in the past, has also been getting in on the action.

Members of two Palestinian families have filed a
criminal complaint against German leaders for aiding and abetting Israel’s
genocide in Gaza.
Lawyers acting on their behalf have requested that
German federal prosecutors investigate Chancellor Olaf Scholz,
Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck, foreign minister Annalena Baerbock and finance
minister Christian Lindner among other officials for providing Israel with
weapons and political support, and failing in their obligation to prevent
Israel from committing genocidal acts.
In a historic ruling in January, the International
Court of Justice (ICJ) found that Israel is plausibly accused of committing
genocide in Gaza and ordered a halt to all its potentially genocidal acts – a
decision Israel has ignored.
“German criminal law requires a ground for initial
suspicion to start investigations on a potential crime being committed,”
lawyers for the Palestinian families said Friday.
“The ICJ ruling clearly showed that there is such
ground for initial suspicion when it comes to the crime of genocide against the
Palestinian people in Gaza.”
The lawyers say that Germany “has shown some of the
strongest political and material support to Israel in its assault on the Gaza
Strip and the Palestinians, with many German officials also inciting to
genocide in their statements since October 2023.”
The case is being brought by the European Legal
Support Center, PIPD (Palestine Institute for Public Diplomacy) and Law for
Palestine – three organizations that are part of the Palestinian-led Justice and Accountability for Palestine
Initiative.

“How Arab States Are Helping Israel Commit Genocide”

Palestine’s
Arab neighbors seem to have taken a bold stance on Israel’s genocide of Gaza in
a public show of solidarity with Palestinians. But behind those strong words,
states like Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the UAE are quietly assisting
Israel.
These
four nations are working together to circumvent the actions of one of the few
regional actors who are challenging Israel concretely: Yemen’s Ansar Allah. In a bid to alleviate pressure on Israel from
the Ansar Allah (a.k.a the Houthi) blockade of the Red Sea, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and
Jordan have established land corridors, ensuring cargo
destined for the apartheid state arrives safely in Israeli hands.
According to Hebrew Channel 13, Israeli-linked cargo
ships arrive in the UAE to unload goods. Trucks then transport these goods
through UAE and Saudi highways to Jordan. They eventually reach Israel via the
Jordan River Crossing.
German shipping company Hapag-Lloyd
announced that it was working with Saudi Arabia and
the UAE to create a land route “bypassing the Houthis,”
which connects ports in the UAE and the Saudi port of Jeddah facilitating cargo
movement to Israel through the Suez Canal.
Egypt has also joined the effort, operating container ships from its
ports to the Israeli port of Ashdod, further supporting the land bridge
initiative and assuring Israeli commerce is not interrupted amid its genocidal
campaign in Gaza.
But that is just the start of their complicity.
Take Turkey, for example. Around 40% of Israel’s
energy needs are met by an oil pipeline running through Turkey.
President Erdoğan could simply shut the flow of
oil off to Israel, which would shut down the economy and the military assault
in days. But he continues not to do so, despite offering strong condemnation of
Israel in words.
Morocco, meanwhile, is building a military
intelligence base for Israel near its border with Algeria. The site will be
utilized for collaboration for military training, intelligence and security.
Israeli arms manufacturer Elbit
Systems also recently announced the establishment of two weapons factories in
Morocco, helping to diversify Israel’s weapons production capabilities, as activists
in other countries shut the factories down.
In 2021, Morocco also signed the Abraham Accords – a
normalization treaty with Israel that Bahrain and the UAE had already agreed
to. The Emirates has long been a hub for Israeli intelligence, and it is now
well established that the two nations aid each other on intelligence matters.
Moreover, last year, Edge Group, a UAE state-owned
corporation, invested $14 million in Israeli drone manufacturer Highlander
Aviation. So the Israeli police employ their airspace management system, which
was tested by the Israeli Air Force.
The relationship between the UAE and Israel has
grown now that Elbit Systems established an entire
subsidiary organization – Elbit Systems Emirates – in
order to establish what it called “long term cooperation” with the UAE
military.
Meanwhile, despite its rhetoric, Saudi Arabia has
been quietly collaborating with Israel for some time. The Saudi-backed group
Affinity Partners owns a stake in the Israeli company Shlomo
Group.
During the conflict in Gaza, the Shlomo
Group contributed trucks and military equipment to the Israeli military’s Shaldag and Maglan units, as well
as food packages to the IDF.
Saudi Arabia is well-known to be one of the Israeli
intelligence industry’s best customers. Saudi security forces have used Israeli
tech provided by NSO Group and Cellebrite to spy on
people and hack their phones, including for the infamous murder of journalist
Jamal Khashoggi.
These states could do so much besides empty rhetoric
to help the people of Palestine and blunt the Israeli attack on Gaza, including
arms embargoes, sanctions on trade and travel, and halting the military and
intelligence collaborations.
The people of the Arab world are dead against the
genocide in Gaza and collaborating in it. They have come out in mass across
their countries protesting Israel’s war and have even vowed to march through
their borders to Gaza to defend their Palestinian brethren.

We owe a debt to Elie
Wiesel, Leon Uris and all the historians, writers and filmmakers who produced
thousands of books and films about the Nazi holocaust of the Jews, as well as
some who documented the extermination of the Roma, homosexuals, communists,
mentally handicapped and others in almost equal numbers. Even the fictionalized
stories helped to sensitize us all to the horrors of genocide (a word
coined in 1943 by the eminent Polish Jewish lawyer Rafael Lemkin
to refer to the elimination of at least a quarter of the world’s Armenians,
before he or anyone else knew of the Nazi horrors).
This is
a great service, because their work removed all excuse for ignorance toward
genocidal acts,
among both the general public and the political elite. They helped, either
directly or indirectly, to indict and prosecute many who participated in the
holocaust and to cast everlasting shame upon those who looked the other way.
Lemkin and other eminent, hardworking and
resourceful individuals and institutions also contributed to the 1948
Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, a major
component of international law now shared by the 153 nations that are its
signatories. Among other provisions, the convention requires its signatories to
take action to stop genocidal acts when they occur, partly overriding national
sovereignty.

This in turn gave rise to the Responsibility to
Protect (R2P) doctrine, which espoused the duty of governments and other
institutions to intervene in situations of genocidal activity. That doctrine
has been abused and discredited by powerful nations, sometimes using it as a
pretext to intervene for their own purposes, but it is nonetheless a
testament to the pervasive awareness of genocide and the sensitivity to it,
both public and official.

crises in Gaza and Yemen, the United States and the United Kingdom have chosen
instead to turn Yemen’s Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden into a combat zone,
initiating an ariel bombing campaign against the
war-torn country already suffering immensely from nine years of deadly conflict
spearheaded by Saudi Arabia and backed by the U.S.
For weeks, U.S. and British naval vessels have been
perched on the outskirts of Yemen’s territorial waters in the Red Sea, not only
to protect ships carrying goods to Israel but to launch a series of airstrikes
against Yemen, the poorest country in the world. In recent weeks, at least 320
airstrikes have been launched by warplanes that seem never to leave the skies
over Yemen’s major cities. The latest strikes hit Friday morning, targeting Al-Jabana, Al-Taif, and Al-Kathib and followed renewed calls by U.S. officials for
regional actors not to escalate conflict in the Middle East.
According to Yemeni citizens who spoke to MintPress, the U.S. bombing campaign, which has struck
targets in crowded residential neighborhoods, is the last thing that Yemenis
expected. Twenty-seven-year-odl Ibrahim al-Nahari lives with his family near Hodeida International
Airport, which was targeted by US airstrikes on Monday afternoon. He said of
the bombings: “I never expected we would be attacked because of our solidarity
with hungry people in Gaza. Are these America’s morals?”
Last Monday, U.S. airstrikes targeted Yemen’s Al-Katnaib Coast Park, frequented by hundreds of visitors
daily, and not only caused damage to nearby homes, hotels and shops but spread
panic and fear among civilians. “We need food and medicine, not the ugly
American bombs that we have tasted for nine years,” Al-Nahari
told MintPress, waving a Palestinian flag at a
massive demonstration in support of Gaza on Friday in central Hodeida.

In the
courtyard of Yemen’s famous Al Shaeb Mosque, guards
of honor stood at attention accompanied by the melody of military music as the
funeral ceremony of Yemeni marines killed in the latest round of U.S. and UK
strikes commenced. The mourners, many of whom traveled from the countryside to
attend, walked alongside a long convoy carrying the bodies of 17 victims as it
made its way through the streets of Sana’a. Mourners held aloft photos of the
deceased or thrust their rifles into the air while chanting slogans condemning
the United States. Several banners peppered the crowd, emblazoned with the
label given to those who gave their lives in what many view as a struggle in
defense of Palestine: “Martyrs on the road to al-Quds
(Jerusalem).”
Seventeen pickup trucks ensconced in green drapes
bore the bodies. They were escorted by family members alongside thousands of
mourners leaving Sana’a for the hometowns of the victims who hailed from
various regions of Yemen. The scene unfolded last Sunday when thousands of
angry Yemenis took to the streets of Sana’a and other cities to hold a funeral
for those killed by the attacks. “Retribution against American soldiers… We
will not abandon our revenge,” some mourners proclaimed.
In Bani Matar, 70 kilometers west of Sanaa
towards the Hodeida Road, the mothers of Ziad Ajlan and Hashem Al-Sawari watched the convoy from a rooftop as it carried
along the bodies of their sons. Ziad and Hashem were not involved in the fighting; they were among a
number of civilians killed in attacks launched by the U.S. Navy on the Yemeni
mainland one week ago. My son was martyred on the road to al-Quds,” Ziad’s mother said
proudly. “We will not be broken, and we will not abandon Gaza.”
U.S. and British officials maintain that their
attacks target “Houthi” military positions –
ammunition stores and missile launch sites, but the reality of the ground tells
a different story. Yemeni civilians say they are blind and indiscriminate and
often leave civilians maimed or killed. Assuming the U.S. and UK are acting in
good faith, it is clear that their intelligence information is lacking. A truck
belonging to a farmer carrying plastic pipes was targeted in an airstrike
outside the city of Saada last week. It is believed
that the pipes were mistaken for missiles.
This story has repeated itself ad nauseam throughout
Yemen since the end of December when the multinational “Operation Prosperity
Guardian” (OIR) was launched in a thus-far failed attempt to protect ships
linked with Israel from Ansar Allah. This week alone,
as many as 40 strikes were launched by the U.S. and the UK, most targeting the
coastal city of Hodeida.

Who's
benefited most from his most timely passing?
Those who really know the history of totalitarian
practices—unlike such bellicose pretenders as Noam Chomsky, Joe Scarborough,
Naomi Klein and other “liberal” propaganda choristers—may see something all too
familiar in the death of Alexey Navalny;
and by that I don’t mean that
it strikes them as typical of Putin’s reign.
Those making that all-too-familiar case—that is, the great majority of Western
“journalists” and politicians—have thereby shown that what they “know” is not the history of totalitarian
tactics, but the anti-Putin propaganda that’s been pummeling hearts and minds
throughout the West since Putin was elected Russia’s president well over twenty
years ago. According to that narrative
(as there’s no need to remind you), Putin rose out of the KGB to seize the helm
as Stalin 2.0, and in that role has had his every rival whacked, along with every
journalist who ever dared to criticize him.
There’s too much to be said about that propaganda to
dissect it here, other than to note that its portrayal of Vladimir the Terrible
is propaganda as we tend to use
that word—i.e., as a synonym for simple lying.
As the great Sovietologist Stephen Cohen
argued, on the basis of real expertise, and solid sources (including his own
many personal acquaintances in Russia), the myth of Putin as a second Stalin is
just that, an image based on falsehoods, half-truths and exaggeration, whose
purpose was, and is, to serve the interests of the neocons
in Washington, and the military-industrial colossus that they serve (nowadays along with all
too many “liberals”). Despite his scholarly credentials and exceptional lucidity—or
because of them—Cohen was not allowed to make his counter-argument except in
his own writings and lectures (and in certain sympathetic classrooms, such as
mine), since “our free press” back then, as now, would never give a forum to so
gross a heretic, or even quote him for the sake of “balance.” Thus the
propaganda demonizing “Putin,” like those decrying “climate change,” school
shootings, “January 6” and “anti-vaxxers” (just to
name a few of the traumatic bugaboos deployed against us), has gone fatally uncontradicted by those few who’ve had the expertise, and
courage, to reject the (as it were) party line.

goals of the UN’s sustainable development agenda are rather pie-in-the-sky
targets. But who in their right mind would give them a thumbs down if there was
reason to believe they could be achieved?
Here they are if you are not familiar with them:
1.
No
poverty.
2.
Zero
hunger.
3.
Good
health and well-being.
4.
Quality
education.
5.
Gender
equality.
6.
Clean
water and sanitation.
7.
Affordable
and clean energy.
8.
Decent
work and economic growth.
9.
Industry,
innovation, and infrastructure.
10. Reduced inequalities.
11. Sustainable cities and communities.
12. Responsible consumption and production.
13. Climate action.
14. Life below water.
15. Life on land.
16. Peace, justice and strong institutions
17. Partnerships for the goals.
Some of these make sense (although all are
implausible.) Some of them make no sense at all, although that could be the
fault of the effort to make nice, neat soundbites. If
you go to the UN’s website, they attempt to explain them in a bit more detail.
But, their “detail” is still ambiguous and odd, just picking a goal at random,
say, “14-Life below water,” the
detail they give is:
Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and
marine resources for sustainable development.”
What exactly
does that mean?
I am sure they have ideas. They list targets,
projects, etc. in their effort to achieve the goal, but again, much of this
seems, at least to me, to be “pie in the sky” stuff.
So what? Many people might ask.
“Isn’t it good to
have lofty goals, if they are good goals, and work toward them?” Well, in a word, yes. But that isn’t how
this is working.
First of all, the goals are too lofty and
unreasonable. The target is too narrow, giving much too much possibility of
missing it after firing off dozens of arrows toward it. Each of the arrows
fired costs money and requires personal sacrifices.
Some might say the goals are too broad, and in a
certain perspective, they are. The basic concept, for example, of “no poverty”
is broad, but the specific perspective begs the question: When do you know when
you’ve hit the target? What does it mean to eliminate poverty? And who defines
that? After throwing billions at this goal, how do you measure the progress?
And how do you know what precisely to spend the billions on?
Take goal #13, “Climate action.” What exactly does
that mean? And what does action look like, and how does a particular action
meet the goal?
It all sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it?
That’s just the problem. The goals are presented as if we are a 10-year-old
kid. And we just say “yes” to whatever action is taken in attempting to achieve
them. If we ever ask why, we are told, “Oh, what we have done to you (limit
freedom, demand compliance, take away resources, etc.) was done to meet goal
#1,” or #2, or #16, or whatever. And we nod and sheepishly say, “ok.”
Nearly anything they do can fit into one of these
goals as the reason for doing it. They can limit all freedoms, reduce our
quality of life in a myriad of ways, even kill us, and they will say, “Oh,
that’s so we can accomplish goal #6” (fill in whatever number you like). And we
will say, “Oh, ok, anything for clean water, anything for no poverty, anything
for a healthier life, anything for more equality.” We do this and have been
doing it, with no regard to the feasibility, the logic, the risk to benefit, or
even the relevance of the action to the goal.
I think of the old Saturday Night Live bit with Jon Lovitz’s liar, “‘You can’t drive 20 miles to see your dying mother. We are
insisting on this so that we can control your carbon footprint and thus have a
sustainable climate,’ yeah, that’s right, that’s the ticket!” Meanwhile,
the actual liar is flying his or her private jet all over the world, making a
larger carbon footprint in a year than what you will even come close to making
in your lifetime.
So, how do you think these goals can be
accomplished?
Well, the first thing you might realize is that
pretty much everyone and every country on the planet has to be on board with
it. This means us rich folks (relatively speaking) as well as all the poor
folks, have to say, “Yes, bring it on.” It is the poor folks who suffer the
most if the goals are not achieved—food, clean water, poverty—most of these
things don’t apply to most of us.
So, who then do you think will be paying for
bringing the poor folks up to a higher standard, and thus bringing the rest of
us down to a lower standard? Hmmm. “Hey, it’s ok! I’m
down for that!” Sure, you are. Most of us lose our cookies if we have to wait
in line for ten minutes at the bank, or if the grocery store runs out of
peaches. No one really has a grasp on what sacrifices individually it will take
to even out the playing field. This is a concept the bleeding heart liberal
rarely understands.
So, if it is true that we all must be on board, then
the world has to have some sort of global control, and that global control has
to have a lot of power to force us, if necessary, to do what is right by the
rest of the world. Obviously, that is meeting the 17 Sustainable Development
goals. Therefore, a new central global government must be established, and that
government must have full power over everyone and every country. That
government cannot be an elected government because that would make the whole
thing quite messy, and nothing would ever get done.
As Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada
recently said, “There’s a level of admiration I actually have for China because
their basic dictatorship is allowing them to actually turn their economy around
on a dime and say, ‘We need to go green . . . we need
to start investing in solar.’” That sounds like a reasonable comment to make if
you are a wanna-be dictator
yourself and want to stay in line with the UN’s agenda.
But is it reasonable for us? Sure, too many people
are saying it’s worth it to go communist/dictatorship if it is to meet the
Sustainable Development goals. I mean, really, if we don’t, the world will go
to hell in a handbasket, and not only will we all die, the planet and all the other animals on it will die as
well. So, bring on communism and dictatorship and totalitarianism. If that is
what it takes, we all must buckle up and do what’s right for humanity!”
A rather ignorant statement. And maybe most people would not actually
say this with words. But their actions, their compliance, and their
indifference say it loud and clear. And if people actually do say this, or even
think it, they are woefully uninformed. Until one lives in a totalitarian or
communist country, one cannot possibly know fully what it is like. It isn’t
just being “without things,” it is being forced to live without a soul. The
human spirit is completely crushed, and there feels to be no way out from under
such stifling oppression.
There is one other thing I am not telling you. And I
hesitate to mention it, but I know most of my readers already know what it is.
It is a biggie, and no sheep-like person believes it. In fact, if you believe
this, you can’t be a sheep, it is that big.
Here it is: The UN Sustainable Development program
is a lie. It is all a ploy to get people malleable enough that they will comply
with anything, and give up everything, for what they believe is a set of goals
designed for the greater good. Only the goals are not real, and no one is
actually trying to achieve them. It is presented as a cheese that lures us into
the trap, and once in and dedicated to the program, the spring is sprung and we
are either dead or mercilessly captured.
How do I know this? Well, it doesn’t take too much
brain power to see it. Just read the goals, do they sound reasonable and
realistic? And look at the people attempting to attain them. Take Trudeau’s
comment as one singular example. Who do you think would be the head of a
Chinese-style dictatorship in Canada? Who do you think will not be sacrificing
much, if anything, to accomplish that style of governance? And keep in mind
that all of this is being planned by huge institutions that are self-created
with no elected officials calling the shots. How is that sustainable? —by our
agreement, our ignorance, and our blindness, that’s how.
Let’s
make our own goals that work for all of us.

The truth is, it's not
medical freedom. It's not even the problem of the lies that we've been told
about the COVIDcrisis or the gross mismanagement of
the COVIDcrisis. It's the willingness of governments
to deploy modern cognitive and psychological warfare tools and technologies
against their own citizenry in combination and particular with the power of
modern big tech.
We're all perplexed by what has happened over the
last four years, and I think we've all had this gradual series of small awakenings.
We have the privilege, as a friend of mine put it to me the other day, of being
able right now to go down these various rabbit holes, these various journeys in
fact discovery, and discuss them among ourselves. We all find these little tiny
factoids of truth in a sea of lies, and we carefully gather those little bits
of truth and share them with each other and talk about their deep inner meaning
and the implications. We don't think that in five years we may not even be able
to do that.
We may look back and say, "Good heavens, we
were so free back then in 2024." Just like we look back from today at 2020
and say, "We were so naive." I know I feel that way. I'm now to the
point where I look back at my whole life and all the things that I believed.

Introduction
and Update:
Why has the “Confidential Pfizer report” made
public under Freedom of Information (FOI) in October 2021 not been quoted or
referred to in parliamentary and public enquiries as a means to refuting the
official narrative (which contends that the Covid-19 vaccine is “safe and
effective”). Neither has it been the object of media coverage.
We have documented numerous public
enquiries.
The evidence amply confirms that the Pfizer
vaccine is a dangerous substance, resulting in deaths and adverse
events. This is confirmed by the Pfizer Confidential Report released under
FOI in October 2021. It come’s from the Horse’s

Bombshell Study: Cancer Related Excess Mortality
in England and Wales
A recent study on vaccine related excess mortality
conducted by the team of Edward Dowd confirms the nature of the
mRNA vaccine.
Dowd’s method was to analyze the number of deaths
attributed to cancer in England and Wales between 2010 and 2022 [based on
data] from the U.K. Office for National Statistics
He compared excess death rates, the difference
between observed deaths and the baseline for expected deaths, before and after
the COVID-19 pandemic.
He established a baseline of normal cancer death
rates from 2010-2020 that was remarkably consistent with few deviations, he
said — until the cancer death rates rose significantly in late 2021 in the U.K.
following the vaccine rollout”
The table below pertains to excess deaths related
to malignant neoplasm (cancerous tumor) in England and Wales,
recorded in three consecutive years: 2020, 2021, and 2022 vs. a 10 year trend
(2010-2019).
The data for excess mortality in 2020 (the year
prior to the vaccine) are negative with the exception of “malignant neoplasm
without specification of site”.

A notable feature of the post-pandemic world
has been the brazen way in which global political leaders have continued
promoting COVID-19 vaccines as safe. A rare exception in this respect is
Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico, who, in a recent parliamentary speech, admitted that deaths from
various cardiovascular events in his country have risen because of the
vaccinations. Describing COVID-19 vaccines as “experimental” and “unnecessary,”
Fico has bravely committed his government to telling Slovak people the truth
about what actually happened during the pandemic.
The Slovak Prime Minister’s speech came only weeks
after announcing that his political party would not
support strengthening the powers of the World Health Organization (WHO) in
managing the fight against future pandemics. Explaining this decision, Fico
stated that “such nonsense could only have been invented by greedy
pharmaceutical companies, which began to perceive the resistance of certain
governments against mandatory vaccination.” Subsequent to his announcement, the
WHO admitted that the plans for its controversial global pandemic agreement are
at risk of falling apart. Aided by proposed amendments to the
International Health Regulations of 2005, the ratification of this agreement
would essentially transform the WHO into a global health dictatorship.

Who
Actually Organized the COVID-19 Circus?
Fico’s parliamentary speech addresses a number
of key issues, such as how many expired vaccines Slovakia has left and how much
money has been wasted on them. He also openly refers to the President of the
European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and secret text messages that she reportedly exchanged with
Pfizer Chairman and CEO Albert Bourla. A
multi-billion euro vaccine deal was subsequently completed with Pfizer,
the largest such purchase in the European Commission’s entire history. “We will
simply never know the truth of what role the pharmaceutical companies played,”
suggests Fico, “and who actually organized the whole circus around COVID-19.”
Fico believes that the Slovak people need answers to
important questions such as why people were vaccinated with various
experimental vaccines, and why all sorts of drugs were used on them. An Office
of the Government Plenipotentiary has therefore been created to deal with these
issues. This Plenipotentiary has been empowered in terms of obtaining
information from various Slovak institutions.
Fico says he is “absolutely convinced” that this
investigation will lead to results and that his government will ultimately be
able to tell Slovak citizens what actually happened during the pandemic.
Meantime he alleges that previous governments in his country are responsible
for 21,000 excess deaths since 2020 and openly accuses them of making “a huge
amount of money on the unnecessary purchase of various medical equipment and
vaccines.”
Will the Slovak investigation uncover at least some
of the truth about the COVID-19 circus? And if it does, will it succeed in
making it public? Time will tell, but investigations carried out in other
countries have thus far left many questions unanswered. The total cost of the
ongoing UK inquiry is eventually expected to run to more than half-a-billion
pounds ($630 million), for example, but is already turning into a whitewash. In his laudable attempt to find out
what really happened during the pandemic, Prime Minister Fico is likely going
to have a fight on his hands.

Abstract
Background
The Global COVID
Vaccine Safety (GCoVS) Project, established in 2021
under the multinational Global Vaccine Data Network™ (GVDN®), facilitates
comprehensive assessment of vaccine safety. This study aimed to evaluate the
risk of adverse events of special interest (AESI) following COVID-19
vaccination from 10 sites across eight countries.
Methods
Using a common protocol, this observational cohort
study compared observed with expected rates of 13 selected AESI across
neurological, haematological, and cardiac outcomes.
Expected rates were obtained by participating sites using pre-COVID-19
vaccination healthcare data stratified by age and sex. Observed rates were
reported from the same healthcare datasets since COVID-19 vaccination program
rollout. AESI occurring up to 42 days following vaccination with mRNA
(BNT162b2 and mRNA-1273) and adenovirus-vector (ChAdOx1) vaccines were included
in the primary analysis. Risks were assessed using observed versus expected
(OE) ratios with 95 % confidence intervals. Prioritised
potential safety signals were those with lower bound of the 95 %
confidence interval (LBCI) greater than 1.5.
Results
Participants included 99,068,901 vaccinated
individuals. In total, 183,559,462 doses of BNT162b2, 36,178,442 doses of
mRNA-1273, and 23,093,399 doses of ChAdOx1 were administered across
participating sites in the study period. Risk periods following homologous
vaccination schedules contributed 23,168,335 person-years of follow-up. OE
ratios with LBCI > 1.5 were observed for Guillain-Barré
syndrome (2.49, 95 % CI: 2.15, 2.87) and cerebral venous sinus thrombosis
(3.23, 95 % CI: 2.51, 4.09) following the first dose of ChAdOx1 vaccine.
Acute disseminated encephalomyelitis showed an OE ratio of 3.78 (95 % CI:
1.52, 7.78) following the first dose of mRNA-1273 vaccine. The OE ratios for myocarditis and pericarditis
following BNT162b2, mRNA-1273, and ChAdOx1 were significantly increased with
LBCIs > 1.5.
Conclusion
This multi-country analysis confirmed
pre-established safety signals for myocarditis, pericarditis, Guillain-Barré
syndrome, and cerebral venous sinus thrombosis. Other potential safety signals
that require further investigation were identified.

Professor Michel Chossudovsky,
director of Global Research, has examined the new French law that defines
dissent from official medical narratives as a “sectarian aberration” and
criminalizes dissent from medical narratives, such as “the mRNA vaccine is safe
and effective.”
The law also creates a new crime called “provocation
to abstention from medical care.” A French citizen is guilty of a crime
if the person refuses a vaccine or medical treatment handed down by
authorities. Had the law been in place during the mass vaccination
campaign with the deadly mRNA “vaccine,” all who refused would have received
three years imprisonment and paid a 45,000 euro fine. This ensures that next
time everyone will receive the “vaccine,” because if you refuse you will be
imprisoned and the prison rules will require you to be “vaccinated.”
The new law also protects the pharmaceutical
corporations from any accountability for the deaths and health damage their
lies caused by criminalizing French citizens–including doctors and medical
scientists–who speak against the Covid-19 “vaccines.” This demonstrates
the power of Big Pharma over democracy, which with
this death blow given to free speech and medical fact no longer exists in
France.

This is a very serious development. It is an
official act by an alleged “Western democracy” that criminalizes truth.
For example, French medical scientists who find that the mRNA “vaccines” result
in death and health injury will be imprisoned if they report their
findings. The new French law takes the determination of medical fact out
of the hands of medical scientists. The “fact” henceforth is whatever Big
Pharma’s paid shills among politicians and medical
“authorities” say it is.
Something similar has occurred in Germany. The
distinguished German attorney Reiner Fuellmich
was about to file a lawsuit supported by thousands of medical doctors and
attorneys against the mRNA manufacturers when he was kidnapped by the German
state and imprisoned in Germany where he is currently standing trial on trumped
up charges brought by what appears to be paid “witnesses.”
This is not the way democracies operate. As I
have written on many occasions, Western countries have ceased to be
democracies. The people have no voice. The countries are governed
by the agendas of the elites and powerful corporations with the money to
purchase the laws that serve their agendas and interests. The people who
run for office are the people approved by these elites. Trump was the
exception, and look at what has happened to him. The ruling elite have
made their point: “Cross us and we will destroy you.”
Western governments serve at the expense of the
people the material interests of the powerful and ideologies such as the World
Economic Forum’s “Great Reset.” Dutch and Irish governments are
dispossessing under the rubric of “global warming” farmers of their flocks of
sheep and herds of cattle, thereby driving up food prices by curtailing the
supplies of meat, milk, butter, and cheese, while simultaneously allowing entry
to hordes of immigrant-invaders whose support the people are forced to
undertake. Today a “Western democracy” is an institution that forces
citizens to support interests that are not their own.
We are now witnessing, with the new French law, with
the German government’s kidnapping of Reiner Fuellmich,
with the American persecution of medical scientists who truthfully reported the
mRNA danger, the Stalinist indictments of President Trump, and with media that
no longer serve as watchdogs over the government but as propaganda ministries
for government lies, the legalization and institutionalization of the tyranny
that has displaced democracy in the Western world.
A large percentage of Western peoples are so
indoctrinated and brainwashed that they do not see what is happening.
Moreover, Western countries having been turned into towers of babel means there is no social unity, which makes it
impossible to oppose the tyranny as some of the diverse elements see tyranny
useful in suppressing political and ideological opponents. In the US the
Democrats’ policy of wide-open borders for “people of color” but not for whites
is dispossessing Americans of their own country. Despite public
opposition to the policy, it has moved into high gear with, according to
official numbers, entry each year of immigrant-invaders in numbers equivalent
to 12 cities the size of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There is no doubt
whatsoever that the goal is to replace the white American population who are
powerless to do anything about it.
Meanwhile the Western governments foment wars with
Russia, China, and Iran and expect the demoralized citizens they are
dispossessing to supply the army.

A
controversial proposed bill in France that seeks to outlaw criticism of medical
interventions such as mRNA vaccines has passed its first legislative hurdle.
The
French Assembly passed Bill 2157, “Aimed at strengthening the
fight against sectarian abuses and improving support for victims,” on Feb. 14
in an 182-137 vote, according to a Feb. 15 report by FranceInfo. The legislation was first introduced on Nov.
15, 2023, and was subsequently fast-tracked.
Article
4 of the bill has garnered the most controversy. It states:
“Provocation
to abandon or abstain from following therapeutic or prophylactic medical
treatment is punishable by one year’s imprisonment and a fine of 15,000 euros [$16,216], when this abandonment or abstention is
presented as beneficial for the health of the persons … [but may result in]
serious consequences for their physical or psychological health …
“… When
the provocation provided for in the first two paragraphs has been followed by
effects, the penalties are increased to three years of imprisonment and a fine
of 45,000 euros [$48,647].
“When
these offenses are committed through the written or audiovisual press, the
specific provisions of the laws which govern these matters are applicable with
regard to the determination of the persons responsible.”

The “protected class” is granted “safe harbor”
only because their bets are so risky that to let them fail could crash the
economy. But why let them bet at all?
This is a sequel to a Jan. 15 article titled “Casino Capitalism and the
\ Market: Time for Another ‘Lehman Moment’?”, discussing the threat of a
2024 “black swan” event that could pop the derivatives bubble.
That bubble is now over ten times the GDP of
the world and is so interconnected and fragile that an unanticipated crisis
could trigger the collapse not just of the bubble but of the economy. To avoid
that result, in the event of the bankruptcy of a major financial institution,
derivative claimants are put first in line to grab the assets — not just the
deposits of customers but their stocks and bonds. This is made possible by the
Uniform Commercial Code, under which all assets held by brokers, banks and
“central clearing parties” have been “dematerialized” into fungible pools and
are held in “street name.”
This article will consider several proposed
alternatives for diffusing what Warren Buffett called a time bomb waiting to go
off. That sort of bomb just detonated in the Chinese stock market, contributing
to its fall; and the result could be much worse in the U.S., where the stock
market plays a much larger role in the economy.
The
Chinese Derivative Crisis
A Jan. 30 article on Bloomberg News notes that “Chinese stocks’ brutal start
to the year is being at least partly blamed on the impact of a relatively new
financial derivative known as a snowball. The products are tied to indexes, and
a key feature is that when the gauges fall below built-in levels,
brokerages will sell their related futures positions.”
Further details are in a Jan. 23rd article
titled “’Snowball’ Derivatives Feed China’s Stock
Market Avalanche.”
It states, “China’s plunging stock market is leading to losses on billions of
dollars worth of derivatives linked to the country’s equity indexes, fuelling
further selling as retail investors offload their positions…. Snowball products
are similar to the index-linked products sold in the 2008 financial crisis,
with investors betting that U.S. equities would not fall more than 25% or 30%,”
which they did.
Chinese shares rose on Feb. 6, as officials took
measures to prop up the ailing market, including imposing new “zero
tolerance” curbs for malicious short selling.
The
Greater U.S. Threat
The Chinese stock market is much younger and smaller
than that in the U.S., with a much smaller role in the economy. Thus China’s economy remains relatively
protected from
disruptive ups and downs in the stock market. Not so in the U.S., where
speculating in the derivatives casino brought down international insurer AIG
and investment bank Lehman Brothers in 2008, triggering the global financial
crisis of 2008-09. AIG had to be bailed out by the taxpayers to prevent
collapse of the too-big-to-fail derivative banks, and Lehman Brothers went
through a messy bankruptcy that took years to resolve.
In a December 2010 article on Seeking Alpha titled “Derivatives: The Big
Banks’ Quadrillion-Dollar Financial Casino,” attorney Michael Snyder wrote,
“derivatives were at the
heart of the financial crisis of 2007 and 2008, and whenever the next financial
crisis happens, derivatives will undoubtedly play a huge role once again….
Today, the world financial system has been turned into a giant casino where
bets are made on just about anything you can possibly imagine, and the major
Wall Street banks make a ton of money from it. The system … is totally
dominated by the big international banks.”

announcement of Tucker Carlson's arrival in Moscow and his subsequent interview with Russian President

We tend to think of arguments among historians as
purely academic affairs: a bunch of stuffy, grey-templed,
pipe-smoking, tweed jacket-wearing professors debating over tea and crumpets the colour of
Alexander the Great's hair or Frederick the Great's
talent as a flutist.
But we are wrong.
Far from a boring, scholarly pursuit, the study of
history has high-stakes, real-world consequences. Just ask the Ukrainians.
For centuries, the subject of Ukrainian
history—including the origins of the Ukrainian state, the struggle for
Ukrainian independence, and even the nature of
Ukrainian identity itself—has been weaponized by
various forces as part of a broader political conflict. As journalist Christian

Let me start
by pointing out that the above was the topic of a three-part article I wrote
that was published on the VT Foreign Policy website on December 31, 2023,
entitled: “Is World War III About to Start?”
In this
article I did not postulate a definitive answer. Of course, some would say
that WWIII has already begun. But let’s explore further.
We know that the U.S. has been in a
continuous state of some level of war mobilization since at least 1940. That’s
coming up on a century ago. Of course, some would say that when WWII began, it
was really just a continuation of WWI, when the U.S. had troops fighting in
Europe from 1917-1918. So that takes us to well over a century ago.
But why another world war now? Let’s
explore some history.
When Germany invaded Poland at the start
of WWII in September, 1939, it was more than a year before the U.S. was
formally at war, after the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor on December 7,
1941.
But well before, in 1940, the Franklin
D. Roosevelt administration began to use Lend-Lease to supply military
assistance to the Western Allies, acquisitions that they were allowed to
purchase on credit.
To this day, however, few are aware of
how much by way of armaments was also provided to the Soviet Union via Lend-Lease. This included
tanks, artillery, and whole factories to help build the Soviet war machine. It
also included equipment needed to eventually build atomic weapons.
All of these transfers to the Soviets
were concealed from Congress and the public but originated with actions by
actors/agents within the Roosevelt government. U.S./Soviet collaboration was
also concealed from Hitler, who said he would not have invaded the Soviet Union
had he known of its vast hidden stores of war materiel. This was part of the U.S./British
plan to trap Hitler into action that would complete the destruction of Germany
begun during World War I.
It wasn’t until after World War II had
ended when, under President Harry Truman, the U.S. broke away from its
Soviet wartime ally, which now became our enemy when the “Cold War” was
engineered into existence.
Few are aware that the impetus for U.S.
policy during and after WWII came from the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).
Always the most prominent American “think tank” since its inception at the end
of WWI, the CFR was/is a U.S.-situated creation of the London/New York-based
“Money Power.” The leading U.S. figure in the CFR’s scheming is believed to
have been Bernard
Baruch. Members of the
Rockefeller family and their associates have also been heavily involved in the
CFR and have provided funding for much of its program.
Before the CFR came into existence, the
U.S. branch of the Money Power had been headed by J.P. Morgan and was
concentrated then, as now, in New York City. Allied with Morgan was the
newly-minted fortune of John D. Rockefeller. Under the stage-managing of
the European Rothschilds, both Morgan and Rockefeller
connived in setting up the Federal Reserve in 1913. Col. House was tasked with
getting U.S. President Woodrow Wilson to go along and sign the
legislation.

Even as
Israel pounds Gaza into rubble, carrying out what has been described as a genocide in the process, many of its supporters are attempting to change
the subject, instead decrying a supposedly new wave of dangerous antisemitism across American universities.
Their evidence for this is a new report from the Network Contagion Research
Institute (NCRI). Entitled “The Corruption of the American Mind,” the study
alleges that Middle Eastern funding of U.S. universities has helped unleash a
torrent of anti-Jewish hatred. Yet, as we shall see, not only does the report
contain numerous methodological issues, but the NCRI itself is deeply connected
to the Israel lobby, as well as the U.S. national security state, and regularly
publishes thinly sourced reports in service of Israeli interests and U.S.
imperialism.
Campus Propaganda Wars
The NCRI report claims that American universities
have accepted billions of dollars from authoritarian countries and that those
institutions that accepted Middle Eastern cash saw 300% more antisemitic incidents than those that did not. U.S.
universities, they conclude, are hotbeds of
Jew-hatred. The report bemoans a:
“[M]assive influx of
foreign, concealed donations to American institutions of higher learning, much
of it from authoritarian regimes with notable support from Middle Eastern
sources, reflects or supports heightened levels of intolerance towards Jews,
open inquiry and free expression.”
The study was widely cited in the media,
particularly by pro-Israel partisans eager to change the subject from Israel’s
bombing of Gaza. Bari Weiss, for example, wrote that “the explosion of antisemitic hate” on campuses had been “fueled by Middle
Eastern money.” As she explained:
“[F]or several decades a toxic worldview—morally
relativist, anti-Israel, and anti-American—has been incubating in ‘area
studies’ departments and social theory programs at elite universities. Whole
narratives have been constructed to dehumanize Israelis and brand Israel as a
‘white, colonial project’ to be ‘resisted.’”
The clear implication in both the NCRI study and
Weiss’ report is that domestic opposition to Israeli (or other Western
nations’) actions cannot be organic. Instead, it must be funded by nefarious
foreign actors – a notion that, as we shall see – is a central recurring theme
in the NCRI’s work.

deliberated on Resolution 3202, the “Assad Regime Anti-Normalization

U.S. While its aims seem, at face value, to focus on humanitarian issues and a
quest for accountability, the reality is much more complicated.
The Bill’s
Stated Aims
The bill was presented to the public as a tool for
accountability purely targeting the Assad-led government of Syria and any of
its in-country partners. The bill purports to achieve this by “Prohibiting any
U.S. official action to normalize relations with any Syrian government led by Bashar al-Assad, “Strengthening the human rights sanctions
levied on Syria,” and” Examining the Assad government’s manipulation of the
United Nations.”
In keeping with the polite presentation of the bill,
Moaz Moustafa, SETF
Executive Director, said: “We are proud to see legislation that
holds the Assad regime and those normalizing with war criminals accountable” as
a response to the passage of the bill.
Similarly, on the House floor, House Foreign
Relations Committee chairman Mike McCaul announced that “Congress is sending a message that
it remains committed to justice for the Syrian people.”

When the fresh batch of Epstein files dropped last
month, Dershowitz – about whom allegations of
pedophilia have abounded for many years – was quick to boast of how his name appeared 137 times in
the material while claiming the contents fully exonerated him of any
wrongdoing. Even if true – and, as MintPress News’
previous investigation outlined, that is far from certain – certain documents
could point to Dershowitz’s complicity in and
knowledge of a very different sexual criminality.

The debate over U.S. foreign aid is a distraction.
That’s not to say that the amount of taxpayer money
flowing to foreign countries in the form of military and economic assistance is
insignificant. Even at less than 1% of the federal budget, the United States
still spends more on foreign aid than any other nation.
The latest foreign aid spending bill includes $95 billion for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.
Since World War II, the U.S. has given more foreign
aid to Israel than any other country ($318 billion), with the bulk of those funds
designated for Israel’s military efforts.
Even so, more than 150 countries around the world receive
U.S. taxpayer-funded assistance.
As Forbes reports,
“US foreign aid dwarfs the federal funds spent by 48 out of 50 state
governments annually. Only the state governments of California and New
York spent more federal funds than what the U.S. sent abroad each year to
foreign countries.”
Whether or not that some of that foreign aid is used
for legitimate purposes, the global welfare system itself is riddled with
corruption and waste. As Adam Andrzejewski rightly
asks, “Do taxpayers instinctively know
that they are funding choir
directors in Turkmenistan, filmmakers in
Peru, aid for poultry
farmers Tanzania, and sex education workshops for
prostitutes in Ethiopia?”
The problem is not so much that taxpayers are
unaware of how their hard-earned dollars are being spent. Rather, “we the people”
continue to be told that we have no say in the matter.
We have no real say in how the government runs, or
how our taxpayer funds are used, but that doesn’t prevent the government from
fleecing us at every turn and forcing us to pay for endless wars that do more
to fund the military industrial complex than protect us, pork barrel projects
that produce little to nothing, and a police state that serves only to imprison
us within its walls.
This financial tyranny persists whether it’s a Democrat or
Republican at the helm.
At a time when the government is spending money it
doesn’t have on programs it can’t afford, the national debt continues to grow,
our infrastructure continues to deteriorate, and our borders continue to be
breached.
What is going on?
The “government of the people, by the people, for
the people” has been overtaken by a shadow government—a corporatized, militarized,
entrenched global
bureaucracy—that is fully operational and running the country.
This powerful international cabal made up
of international government agencies and corporations—let’s call it the Global Deep State—is just as real
as the corporatized, militarized, industrialized American Deep State, and it
poses just as great a threat to our rights as individuals under the U.S.
Constitution, if not greater.
Clearly, we have entered into a new world order:
fascism on a global scale.
It remains unclear whether the American Deep State
(“a national-security apparatus that holds
sway even over the elected leaders notionally in charge of it”) answers to the Global Deep State, or
whether the Global Deep State merely empowers the American Deep State. However,
there is no denying the extent to which they are intricately and symbiotically
enmeshed and interlocked.
Consider the extent to which our lives and liberties
are impacted by this international convergence of governmental and
profit-driven corporate interests in the surveillance state, the military
industrial complex, the private prison industry, the intelligence sector, the
security sector, the technology sector, the telecommunications sector, the
transportation sector, and in recent years, the pharmaceutical-health sector.
All of these sectors are dominated by
mega-corporations operating on a global scale and working through government
channels to increase their profit margins. The profit-driven policies of these
global corporate giants influence everything from legislative policies to
economics to environmental issues to medical care.

Gates praises India's DPI - a buzzword pushed
by the UN that encourages digital ID rollouts.
India’s digital ID
system may have its critics among those opposed to digitization of people’s
identities, but it has received praise from Bill Gates as one of the country’s
innovations that are “changing the world.”
Gates, as well as
EU and UN officials, refers to such systems as digital public infrastructure
(DPI) – a
buzzword for introduction of digital ID and payments by 2030.
Gates announced
on his blog that he is visiting India, and made sure to note that the Gates
Foundation is involved in what he calls “efforts that are saving millions of
lives.”
This is a reference
to India’s production of another of Gates’ “passions” – vaccines. As for DPI,
Gates expressed his “admiration” for the country’s massive biometric identity
DPI component, Aadhaar, and the fact that over 12
billion transactions are processed by it.

And, the Microsoft
founder has another “passion” – agriculture. He made sure to note that he would
be visiting a monitoring center where agriculture meets Aadhaar.
More whopping numbers: the government uses the center in Odisha
that has a registry of 7.5 million farmers to give them “real-time guidance,”
Gates said.
It sounds like a surveillance state dream, at least as far as the “right”
infrastructure is concerned: “Officials can keep track of who is growing what,”
Gates continued, but he says this is done for the sake of providing those
farmers with “advice.”
It has almost
become a rule that projects like DPI effectively get tested in developing
countries, orchestrated by globalist financial institutions like the World
Bank.
Gates mentions that
the developments around the implementation of DPI in Odisha
are monitored by the World Bank, as well as Ethiopia and Sri Lanka, ostensibly
in order for the example to be replicated there.
Last fall, the
United National Development Program (UNDP) unveiled a campaign called “50-in-5”
that aims to “help” 50 countries “design, launch, and scale components of their
digital public infrastructure.”
This effort is one
of those where the Gates Foundation shows up as a partner, while the program is
supposed to promote “safe, inclusive and interoperable DPI” introduction in
those countries.
When the campaign
was announced, India was mentioned as a “success story” in the world of DPIs,
while Africa was singled out as a particular target for “greater development of
DPI.”

does exist, it was milder than the seasonal flu according to the heavily padded

is no climate emergency. “Climate change,” formerly known as man-made
“global warming,” is a hoax designed to advance a globalist cabal’s agenda.

In conclusion, do NOT believe anything you read or
hear in the corporate-controlled, CIA-massaged establishment media. Be
skeptical of everything in the self-styled “liberal” and “progressive” media as
well, since most of them support censorship, self-censorship, and the globalist
cabal’s agenda on many key issues.
Question everything. You should also question

only place these days where the truth can emerge.
