Dear Colleagues and Friends of CEIMSA,
The debacle of the Weimar Republic is behind us. Once again, alliances are being made that defy historical understanding, and hysterical fear and opportunism have largely displaced efforts at rational comprehension, and even the method of dialectical materialism is shortcircuited to produce shrill accusations and character assassinations instead of contextual knowledge of historical developments: first economic inequalities are amplified in advanced industrial societies; then come the dire consequences of this extreme concentration of wealth in the hands of a power-hungry few.
The case has been made that the accelerated growth of inequality has brought us into a state of general warfare hardly recognizable because of the sophisticated techniques of thought control available to the self-appointed elitists who play so well this system which rules all of us to their short-term advantage. The depopulation policy now underway is hardly noticeable in this environment. Only a few observers dare speak out and verbalize what they see: “Plague, War, Famine – these are the historic instruments of depopulation.”
Going back to medieval Europe during the great crusades, historians have observed that the context was a time when the European aristocracy was experiencing instabilities from a “surplus population.” In l’histoire de longue durée one reason behind the military mobilizations in the decades of the Crusades (from the 11th through the 13th centuries, most notably between: 1096-1099, 1147-1149, and 1202-1204) was the conflict of ruling-class interests that found it expedient to send the proliferation of rowdy young men abroad. The dominant ideology of the time (e.g. medieval Christianity), was a convenient ideological instrument to accomplish this quest for Order, which would secure the power of the traditional ruling class against the indigenous challenges to existing inequalities.

Here we clearly find expression of the ruling-class interests of the day in references to the undesirable “surplus population” of medieval Europe that presents a danger to Christian societies at home with its dominant ideology, “The Great Chain of Being.”*
*NOTE: According to modern estimates, approximately 1.7 million people died as a result of the Crusades, which took place in nine separate campaigns from 1095-1291 CE. Some of the primary causes of death were warfare, disease, starvation, and murder by banditry.
The excerpt below of Pope Urban II’s Council of Clermont speech, reproduced in Brian Tierney’s anthology, is perhaps more to the point, defining the true purposes of this war against the Infidels. (There are six written versions of the Pope's historic speech of November 27, 1095.)
“I speak to those present, I send word to those not here; moreover, Christ demands it. Remission of sins will be granted for those going thither, if they end a shackled life either on land or in crossing the sea, or in struggling against the heathen. Israel launched air strikes on the Iranian capital Friday night. While the extent of the damage is unclear, the US is expecting Iran to retaliate.
Iranian media reported that some sites in the capital city of Tehran were targeted. A statement from the Israel Defense Forces confirmed the strikes. “In response to months of continuous attacks … The Israel Defense Forces is conducting precise strikes on military targets in Iran,” it said.
According to Axios, the US expects Iran will retaliate. “US and Israeli officials believe Iran will respond militarily,” the outlet reported, adding, “but hope it will be limited and allow the two adversaries to break the tit-for-tat cycle.”
However, the White House is concerned that Iran’s response to Israel will lead to a regional war. An official speaking with the Wall Street Journal confirmed that Tel Avi did inform Washington it was preparing to strike Tehran but did not specify how far in advance Israel warned the US of its plans.
The US claimed Israel’s attack on Iran was an act of self-defense. “We understand that Israel is conducting targeted strikes against military targets in Iran as an exercise of self-defense and in response to Iran’s ballistic missile attack against Israel on October 1st.” National Security Council spokesman Sean Savett continued, “We would refer you to the Israeli government for more information on their operation.”
Last week, top-secret US intelligence documents provided some details of Israel’s preparations to strike Iran.
Over the past year, the Middle East has moved closer to an all-out regional war as Israel has attacked several neighboring countries, conducted assassinations throughout the region, and slaughtered Palestinians.
On October 1, Iran attacked military sites in Israel with nearly 200 missiles in response to Tel Aviv killing Hamas’s political leader in Tehran and assassinating Hezbollah’s leader in Beirut. Tel Aviv has been vowing retaliation for the Iranian attack throughout the month. Tehran has said it will respond to any Israeli attack.
Just before Israel attacked Iran on Friday, the US moved fighter jets from Europe to the Middle East.
In the leadup to the Israeli strike on Iran, Tel Aviv requested the deployment of an American THAAD air defense system. The White House granted the request, and now 100 American soldiers are manning the system in Israel, making them a potential target for any Iranian response.

Four Iranian soldiers were killed in Israeli air strikes on military sites in Iran early Saturday.
The attack came almost a month after a barrage of ballistic missiles fired by Tehran hit at least three military and intelligence installations in Israel.
The Iranian ballistic missile attack on 1 October was itself a much-anticipated reprisal for the assassinations of resistance leaders Hasan Nasrallah and Ismail Haniyeh, the latter while a guest of the state in Tehran.
Iran initially said on Saturday that the Israeli attack caused “limited damage” and claimed its air defense systems intercepted many of the missiles.
On Sunday, remarks by Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, were more circumspect. He said that the attack “should neither be downplayed nor exaggerated.”
He added that security for the Iranian people would be ensured by the strength of the state in all sectors. Officials will determine “what needs to be done and do whatever is in the best interests of this country and nation” following the Israeli strikes.
Khamenei’s comments fit the pattern of caution and careful deliberation exercised by Iran since the current exchange with Israel began in April, when Israel bombed Tehran’s embassy in Damascus. Several Iranian officials were killed in that attack, including a top commander in the elite revolutionary guards.

In Gaza, civil defence official Mohammed al-Mughair said 40 dead and 60 wounded were taken to nearby hospitals following the strike on Al-Mawasi early Tuesday. “Our crews are still working to recover 15 missing people as a result of targeting the tents of the displaced in Mawasi, Khan Yunis,” Mughair said.
Civil defence spokesman Mahmud Basal said people sheltering in the camp in the dunes along the Mediterranean coast had not been warned of the strike.
The strike left behind “three deep craters”, he said. “There are entire families who disappeared under the sand.”. . . .

On Saturday, images and video emerged of what journalists have described as a death march near the Indonesian Hospital in Beit Lahiya.
Reporter Hossam Shabat stated that Israeli occupation forces dug a quote “deep hole in one of the squares surrounding the Indonesian Hospital, and placed male Palestinians in it with their hands tied and their eyes blindfolded.”

A Palestinian doctor tries to save severely malnourished children amid Israel’s US-backed illegal siege on Gaza.
Ahmed Nasser is one of a handful of doctors in north Gaza treating scores of children for malnutrition. The odds of saving lives are against him as he does not have the resources he needs. Israel has cut off food, fuel and water, resulting in a man-made famine that is unprecedented in its scale and pace. Bad Students of History
General Vo Nguyen Giap, the great military strategist[2] and political leader who led Vietnamese communist forces to victories in successive wars against Japan, France[3], South Vietnam and the United States, once famously said:
“the imperialists are bad students. Yes. We taught them the right lessons, didn’t we? But they learn the lessons badly, although they are lessons of historical significance: the debacle in Algeria, in Cuba – the stinging debacle in Vietnam. Well, these are events that herald and have contributed to the collapse of colonialism and also to the inevitable collapse of neocolonialism. However, these students, bad students, want to repeat grades”.[4]
Later on, in the same vein, Gideon Rose argued in a penetrating look at American wars over the last century[5] that time and again American Presidents and their advisers have focused more on beating up the enemy than on the need for careful postwar planning. Such a phenomenon, which challenges the Clausewitzian dictum that war is simply a continuation of political intercourse with the addition of other means[6], led them to blindly stumble into turmoil during the final stages of almost each and every major conflict from World War I to Iraq and Afghanistan.
The latter experiences were the most prominent examples of this phenomenon, not an exception to the rule. As U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) commander Tommy Franks put it to the deputy Secretary of defense on the eve of the second Iraq war, “you pay attention to the day after, I’ll pay attention to the day of”[7]. In reality, though, history will recall that nothing of the sort has come about.
Likewise, after its year-long genocidal war on Gaza – which now threatens to become a full-scale regional conflict, or worse, after Netanyahu’s decision to assassinate Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah[8] and wreak havoc on Lebanon, a country Israel hopes to colonize as well, as part of its messianic or irredentist Zionist folly of an “Eretz Yisrael Hoshlema” (Greater Israel)[9] – Israel finds itself in the exact same above-mentioned predicament of its American closest ally, supplier of deadly arms, and unconditional diplomatic shielder. As Gideon Rose rightly pointed out, “lessons from previous wars can serve as cognitive blinders, narrowing the way officials think about the situations they face, and power can be a trap, underwriting hubris and folly”. In 2001, Benjamin Netanyahu said:
“We must beat them up, not once but repeatedly, beat them up so it hurts so badly, until it’s unbearable.”[10]
Precisely because the notion of “war-as-combat” is deeply ingrained in the thinking of both American and Israeli militaries and peoples at large, and the essential political aspects of the war are often neglected, if not lost in the fog of war, it is more than doubtful that current American and Israeli policymakers think clearly about what they are doing today and how to ward off a looming doom; and notwithstanding the fact that their two countries are the strongest powers in the world and in the Middle East region respectively, they will likely stumble miserably once again, and will therefore have nobody to blame but themselves for failing to understand that there’s no military solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Only a political settlement – one characteristically off the beaten track, or once discarded as illusory or too radical – can achieve this desired goal.

The story of Dr Kustka reveals the erosion of patient rights and medical integrity in Ontario.
There are no longer patient rights or confidentiality in Ontario’s medical system. The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario demands that doctors process patients according to agendas that they endorse. This includes coerced genetic experiments and other initiatives from Bill Gates and the WHO, with virtually no exceptions.
It is disheartening to witness the hardships suffered by myself and other noble doctors at the hands of the current administration of medical colleges across the country. They are abusing their power and neglecting their duties; restoration will require their arrests and prosecutions. Good doctors are harshly persecuted for maintaining our ethical and scientific integrity throughout the COVID operation.
Ultimately, though, it is even worse for the majority of physicians who succumbed to the COVID operation. It was unlawfully forced upon them by Canada’s colleges of physicians and surgeons. The majority of doctors in our country have been coerced into injecting themselves, their families, their staff, and their patients with a toxic genetic fraud. This constitutes illegal medical experimentation and medical assault, in contravention of international, federal, and provincial laws, as well as the rules of the colleges and medical ethics. To maintain their positions and income in the short term, most doctors have been muzzled and hand-tied. They are victims of the colleges.

“A Netherlands court last week ruled that Bill Gates can stand trial in the Netherlands, in a case involving seven people injured by COVID-19 vaccines.
According to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, the seven “corona skeptics” sued Gates last year, along with former Dutch prime minister and newly appointed NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, and “several members” of the Dutch government’s COVID-19 “Outbreak Management Team.”
Other defendants include Albert Bourla, Ph.D., CEO of Pfizer, and the Dutch state.
“Because Bill Gates’ foundation was involved in combating the corona pandemic, he has also been summoned,” De Telegraaf reported.
According to Dutch independent news outlet Zebra Inspiratie, the plaintiffs allege that Gates, through his representatives, deliberately misled them about the safety of the COVID-19 shots, despite knowing “that these injections were not safe and effective.”
Dutch independent journalist Erica Krikke told The Defender that the seven plaintiffs — whose names are redacted in the lawsuit’s publicly available documents — “are ordinary Dutch people, and they have been jabbed and after the jabs they got sick.””

In May 2009, the WSJ as well as the Sunday Times reported: (John Harlow, Los Angeles) that
“Some of America’s leading billionaires have met secretly to consider how their wealth could be used to slow the growth of the world’s population and speed up improvements in health and education.”
The emphasis was not on population growth (i.e Planned Parenthood) but on “Depopulation”, i.e,. the reduction in the absolute size of the World’s population.

When the alleged “pandemic” was declared in March of 2020, I, like millions of other people around the world, was paying close attention to politicians and public health officials as well as to bureaucrats from the Rockefeller Foundation-created World Health Organization (WHO), all of whom announced, in almost perfect synchronicity, “This is the new normal until a vaccine can be developed.”
How odd, I thought. Why is it that the immediate default position is a vaccine? And why is it that a single coronavirus is being blamed for causing people to fall ill in every corner of the earth? Could something else—perhaps one or more toxins in the environment—be the real culprit?
It was impossible to stop myself from asking question after question and pondering possible answers. For, if public health authorities in nearly every jurisdiction (from international healthy organizations to national health agencies to state and local health departments) on the planet were truly concerned about citizens’ well-being, then:
· Why was it that natural immunity, which has been a key component to human health and survival for over 200,000 years, was suddenly being treated as if it didn’t exist anymore?
· Why was no one in charge urging us to eat a healthy, nutritionally balanced, organic diet, low in sugar content?
· Why did no one mention the importance of getting enough sleep?
· Why were we not being encouraged to go outdoors and exercise?
· Why was no one suggesting we increase our zinc and vitamin D intake? After all, scientists have known for over fifty years that vitamin D, either absorbed naturally from the sun or taken orally in tablet form, is extremely beneficial to the human body in many ways, especially in building a strong innate immune system.
All of the preceding points, if taken seriously, could have helped us improve our immune system and given us an opportunity to combat the negative effects of the syndrome known as COVID-19.
Even more bizarre was the fact that, from the very start of the “pandemic,” the corporate-controlled media had been continually seeking the opinion of Bill Gates, who is neither a doctor nor a scientist, on what course of action governments around the world should be taking to combat the spread of the so-called SARS-CoV-2 virus.
As two weeks of global lockdowns—allegedly “to flatten the curve”—dragged on and turned into several months of lockdowns, it became painfully obvious that none of the “public health measures”—ranging from physical distancing to masking to self-isolation—being implemented by governments around the world had anything to do with their stated purpose of keeping everyone COVID-free.
These measures did, however, perform two key roles completely unrelated to public health:
First, they were calculated from the beginning to create a polarized population. Indeed, we have been made the subjects of a social engineering experiment intended to divide humanity—thus preventing us from communicating, converging, cooperating, and rising up together against a diabolical plan designed to eradicate representative democracy, sovereign nation-states, and individual liberties.
Second, they had the intended consequence of shutting down the global economy, sending millions of people into bankruptcy, extreme poverty, and despair. The vultures devouring the dead and decaying pieces of the shattered economy are powerful financial interests—big banks and businesses and billionaires whose goal is to control every sector of the economy, including all natural resources and all public and private assets. These predators, though few in number, have wreaked the havoc requisite for them to buy—for pennies on the dollar—every possible possession in the entire world. But they are neither content to be wealthy beyond belief nor satisfied with owning everything. Rather, it seems they will not rest until they have achieved complete world domination by exploiting and enslaving all of us.
In the two years of a “pandemic”-driven panic that most of the world seems to have succumbed to, many nations have been ruled by illegal executive orders and health department guidelines, all promulgated in the name of “following the science.” What this hijacked term really means is that scared-out-of-their-wits citizens are following the worldwide mandate to believe a false narrative that lays all the blame for all the destruction on an alleged virus—a non-isolated, unpurified, computer-generated, allegedly “novel” virus. Meanwhile, the enshrined constitutional and civil rights of billions of human beings are being shredded.
Of all the thoughts that ran through my mind, the one that struck the deepest chord was the realization that a naturally occurring, helpful element in the environment was being blamed as the source of the pseudo pandemic. I understood that, just as there are “global warming” swindlers who falsify climate data and write inaccurate academic reports so they can pretend to vilify carbon dioxide (an element that generateslife on earth—the opposite of killing life!) and thus make scads of money from their scam, so are there “pandemic” gangsters who pretend to vilify another marvel of the natural world—the virus—for the same venal purpose.
I knew I must do something with my realization. That is, I had to research to prove my theory was fact, not fancy. For four solid months, I spent all my free hours reading countless articles and watching umpteen interviews. (See my acknowledgements below to find out who my main sources were.) Next, I amassed everything I had learned and wrote a four-part article. When it was published on the Global Research website, it received so many views and positive comments that the Global Research editor encouraged me to turn it into a short book. This is that book.
My hope is that I have succeeded in deconstructing the official narrative: first, by explaining how viruses have been blanketing the earth with their genetic codes for eons, creating biodiversity and allowing for adaptation throughout the ecosystem, and, second, by pointing out the myriad ways reckless human behaviour is creating a real environmental catastrophe—not the carbon-is-the-culprit con, but actual pollution and deforestation and species extinction, to name a few such scourges. These real problems are being ignored by the fake “climate change” crowd, who hide their mercenary motives behind euphemisms like “sustainable development goals” (SDGs) and “environmental, social, and governance” benchmarks (ESGs) and florid phrases such as the “Great Reset” and “Build Back Better.”

“Draconian Sentencing Guidelines Result in Prison Overcrowding”

Prosecutors don’t get promoted by offering shorter sentences.
Like many Americans, I follow criminal justice developments closely. The arrest and coming prosecution of Sean Combs, also known as P. Diddy, among other things, will likely remain in the headlines for months, and perhaps years, and promises to be fascinating. Prosecutions related to the January 6, 2021, riots at the Capitol remain ongoing. And the Justice Department has been making good use of the previously largely ignored Foreign Agents Registration Act to pick low-hanging fruit criminal cases against people whose politics they don’t like, such as journalist, whistleblower and former United Nations weapons inspector Scott Ritter.
It also occurred to me that most Americans have no idea how federal sentences are determined. The methods of determining them are myriad. First, most judges do not have much say in the length of sentences. There are “sentencing guidelines,” which give judges a limited range in which to issue a sentence after receipt of a “sentencing recommendation” from an investigator with the U.S. Marshals Service, there are “mandatory minimums,” and there are “statutory maximums.” More ominously, and little understood by the public, there are “sentencing enhancements.” These are triggers that can make sentences longer, even if it is simply for declaring one’s innocence. And, as with just about everything, there are exceptions. Let me explain.

“BRICS 16th Summit – First Step Towards a Common Future of Sovereign Multipolarity?”

Was the summit successful?
Depending on what one looks at and what is considered a success.
At the outset, it was a success, if only because it put issues and differences openly on the table to be disputed and eventually resolved.
The meeting itself did not produce much novelties. For example, many remarkable happenings, dispute resolutions and agreements happened at the margin of the summit or before. Most notably, what did not happen was another expansion of the BRICS alliance.
Since the 2023 BRICS summit in Johannesburg, when Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) joined the five original members, Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, no new members have joined. However, two more nations that were invited in Johannesburg in 2023 to become members – Argentina and Saudi Arabia – have either declined (Argentina), or, so far, not acted on becoming a member (Saudi Arabia). In fact, Saudi’s acting ruler, crown prince Mohammad bin Salman, was among the notable absentees in Kazan.
Could it be western pressure – by Saudi’s western hydrocarbon clients and military supporters?
BRICS internal rifts or disagreements concern accession conditions for new members. Missing is also a common set of internal rules that would lend the alliance stability and credibility vis-à-vis the outside world.
The BRICS also lack a common Secretariat and common guiding principles on policies of trade, economic and military cooperation.
For a new member to be accepted, it needs the unanimous support of the existing members – currently nine.
For example, Venezuela is an eager candidate to join the Club, but was vetoed by Brazil, for reasons that have more to do with the two countries’ bilateral relationship than with the enlargement of BRICS.
Such bilateral conflicts do not help the group’s coherence and credibility, the so far most important Global South organization.
Already in September 2024, Turkey had expressed her interest in joining the BRICS and did, indeed, apply for membership. Turkey would be the first NATO member to join the BRICS; yet, so far, her accession has been stalled.
Although, Mark Rutte, the new NATO chief, when recently questioned, did not object at all, saying that Turkey was a sovereign country and could join the BRICS alliance on her own free will. He added that Turkey would nevertheless remain one of the most important NATO members.
Perhaps Turkey’s NATO membership was a thorn in the eyes of some Global South states. However, India, not a de jure NATO member, has close relations with NATO and the US. Yet, India is a founding member of the BRICS. Perhaps the perceptions have changed since the 2006 formation of the alliance.

Mr. Putin said that there are some 30 countries that wanted to join the BRICS, among them most notably Azerbaijan, Algeria, Vietnam, Indonesia, Pakistan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, Venezuela, Palestine, DR Congo, Gabon, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Kuwait, Senegal, and Bolivia.
On the other hand, Kazakhstan, Russia’s largest neighbor in Central Asia, was invited by Russia to join the BRICS, but in a last-minute decision opted not to join. Russia was not only surprised, but not pleased at all for this abrupt decision, and promptly banned imports of a range of agricultural products from Kazakhstan in retaliation.
According to the Oil & Gas Journal (OGJ), Kazakhstan has proven crude oil reserves of 30 billion barrels, 2nd largest endowment in Eurasia after Russia, and the 12th largest in the world, just behind the United States. With 172 oil fields, Kazakhstan possesses 3% of global oil reserves, putting it among the world’s top dozen countries in terms of oil deposits.
Could it be that Kazakhstan reacted to some pressure, possibly blackmail, from western oil customers?
Perhaps one of the most important conflict resolutions at the margins of the meeting happened during a face-to-face dialogue between PM Narendra Modi of India and China’s President Xi Jinping, the first in five years.
Just a few months ago, tensions between New Delhi and Beijing were intense enough for Mr. Modi to decline participation in the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Astana, Kazakhstan. Yet, the two countries have now reached a deal over their longstanding border dispute.
The two most populous and, in terms of GDP, economically most powerful members of the BRICS coalition have not only an opportunity to rebuild their relations, but also to create a building block to help overcome BRICS disagreements.
If one mentions BRICS internal disagreements, it may be important to notice that external, meaning western interference in terms of threats and coercions to say the least, may have played an important role in the organization’s disarray that prevented – for now – a further expansion.
Improved relations between China and India could generate a momentum for BRICS to deliver on its ambitious agenda to develop, and ultimately implement, a vision for a new multi-polar global order.
It would lead into the direction of what Mr. Putin said in his opening address during the BRICS summit, that the BRICS alliance was not anti-west but merely a movement for independence, or potentially a shift from an anti-western to a non-western agenda.
Strangely but also remarkably, one of the west’s most feared “threats” of the BRICS summit was the summit’s talk and potentially resolution on the alliance’s dedollarization. It appears that none of that has happened.
Many of the BRICS countries are not interested in dedollarizing their economies, such as Brazil, India, the Emirates, and others. Let alone potential candidates like Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Venezuela.
Instead, Mr. Putin put forward the idea of a new BRICS lending platform for a collective, coercion-free economic advancement and investment agenda, for infrastructure, industrial as well as social services development. Mr. Putin noted that the IMF and the World Bank, the Bretton Woods Institutions created at the end of WWII, were heavily influenced by the west, especially the United States.
He did mention the BRICS bank, but not necessarily as a lending platform, as it is also fully dollarized, hence, not free from western coercive interferences.
However, China’s creation, the Asian Infrastructure and Investment Bank (AIIB), already involved with some of the BRICS, could become a more important development investment instrument in the future.

In an open conversation with Mr. Antonio Guterres, UN Secretary General who also attended the Kazan summit, Mr. Putin mentioned that it was time for the UN to “adapt to the realities of the 21st century” to be effective. This meant foremost reconfiguring the Security Council to give the emerging Global South, for which BRICS might be representative, a more prominent role.
Citing the UN Chief, saying
“You’ve mentioned we all should represent one big family,”
the Russian president responded,
“and that is how we live. Families, unfortunately, have disagreements, scandals, division of property. They even fight at times.”
Mr. Putin is right. Implicit in this statement is often outside, speak western, meddling to foster disagreements and rifts within groups of countries, who want to go their own way, like the BRICS.
The Kazan summit may have been a precursor for things to come. But western interference will not be able to stop the BRICS alliance and cooperation towards a new multi-polar world order.

Despite the overall accolades the recent BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia, received both from the mainstream and non-mainstream media, not all that glitters is gold.
A second look reveals—unfortunately—that the BRICS nations follow the same globalist agenda as does the Western world.
And if the BRICS are representative of the Global South, then maybe much of the Global South has also been taken hostage by that globalist agenda.
What concrete proof do we have of these claims?
Here are some BRICS declarations made at the Kazan summit that supply all the proof we need, despite having received little-to-no coverage from the news media:
- BRICS supports “global governance” and “the central role of the United Nations in the international system,”
- BRICS supports the leading role of the IMF in global finance,
- BRICS supports the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development,
- BRICS supports public-private partnerships to help nations achieve their Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),
- BRICS supports the reduction and removal of greenhouse gases to combat climate change,
- BRICS supports the creation of carbon markets,
- BRICS supports the World Health Organization (WHO) and its “central coordinating role” in strengthening “the international pandemic prevention, preparedness and response system,”
- BRICS supports the development of “safe & effective vaccines,”
- BRICS supports “digital transformation” using 5G and other “emerging technologies,” and
- BRICS supports “Strengthening Multilateralism for Just Global Development and Security vs Building a Just World and a Sustainable Planet.”
The BRICS countries are spouting the same nonsense—or much worse than nonsense—as one might find at the G20 and the G7 summits. In some cases, it looks like their declarations were taken verbatim from the last G20 conference, held in New Delhi 9–10 September 2023.
Let’s be on the alert: the next G20 summit is scheduled for 18–19 November 2024 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, hosted by the ultra-globalist Lula government. And the next planned G7 conference is to take place in June 2025 in Kananaskis, Alberta, Canada.

“Israel’s War on Journalism”

There are some 4,000 foreign reporters accredited in Israel to cover the war. They stay in luxury hotels. They go on dog and pony shows orchestrated by the Israeli military. They can, on rare occasions, be escorted by Israeli soldiers on lightning visits to Gaza, where they are shown alleged weapons caches or tunnels the military says are used by Hamas. They dutifully attend daily press conferences. They are given off-the-record briefings by senior Israeli officials who feed them information that often turns out to be untrue. They are Israel’s unwitting and sometimes witting propagandists, stenographers for the architects of apartheid and genocide, hotel room warriors. Bertolt Brecht acidly called them the spokesmen of the spokesmen.
And how many foreign reporters are there in Gaza? None.
The Palestinian reporters in Gaza who fill the void often pay with their lives. They are targeted, along with their families, for assassination. At least 128 journalists and media workers in Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon, have been killed and 69 have been imprisoned, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists, marking the deadliest period for journalists since the organization began collecting data in 1992.
Israel bombed a building on Friday in southern Lebanon housing seven media organizations, killing three journalists from Al Mayadeen and Al Manar and injuring 15 others. Since Oct. 7, Israel has killed 11 journalists in Lebanon.
Al Jazeera cameraman Fadi al-Wahidi, who was shot in the neck in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza by an Israeli sniper earlier this month, is in a coma. Israel has refused permission for him to seek medical care outside of Gaza. Like most of the targeted journalists, including his murdered colleague Shireen Abu Akleh, he was wearing a helmet and flak jacket that identified him as press.
The Israeli military has branded as “terrorists” six Palestinian journalists in Gaza who work for Al Jazeera.
“These 6 Palestinians are among the last journalists surviving Israel’s onslaught in Gaza,” United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Francesca Albanese, said. “Declaring them ‘terrorists’ sounds like a death sentence.”
The scale and savagery of the Israeli assault on the media dwarfs anything I witnessed during my two decades as a war correspondent, including in Sarajevo where Serb snipers regularly took aim at reporters. Twenty-three journalists were killed in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina during the Yugoslav Wars between 1991 and 1995. Twenty-two were killed when I covered the war in El Salvador. Sixty-eight journalists were killed in World War II and 63 were killed in Vietnam. But unlike in Gaza, Bosnia and El Salvador, journalists were usually not targeted.
Israel’s assault on press freedom is unlike anything we have experienced since William Howard Russell, the godfather of modern war reporting, sent back dispatches from the Crimean War. Its onslaught against journalists is in a category by itself.
Representative James P. McGovern and 64 House members sent a letter to President Joseph Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken calling for the United States to push for Israel to allow unimpeded access for U.S. and international journalists. In July, over 70 media and civil society organizations signed an open letter calling on Israel to permit foreign reporters into Gaza.
Israel has not budged. Its ban on international journalists in Gaza remains in place. Its genocide grinds forward. Hundreds of Palestinian civilians are killed and wounded daily. During October, Israel killed at least 770 Palestinians in northern Gaza. Israel spins out its lies and fabrications, from Hamas using Palestinians as human shields, to mass rape and beheaded babies, to a captive press that slavishly amplifies them. By the time the lies are exposed, often weeks or months later, the media cycle has moved on and few notice.
Israel’s wholesale censorship and assassination of journalists will have ominous consequences. It further erodes what few protections we once had as war correspondents. It sends an unequivocal message to any government, despot or dictator that seeks to mask its crimes. It heralds, like the genocide itself, a new world order, where mass murder is normalized, totalitarian censorship is permissible and journalists who try and expose the truth have very short life expectancies.
Israel, with the fulsome support of the U.S. government, is eviscerating the last shreds of freedom of the press.

The media hawks are flying high, pushing out bellicose rhetoric on the op-ed pages that seems calculated to whip the public into a war-ready frenzy.
Just as they have done with Hezbollah (FAIR.org, 10/10/24), prominent conservative media opinionators misrepresent Iran as the aggressor against an Israel that practices admirable restraint.
Under the headline, “Iran Opens the Door to Retaliation,” the Wall Street Journal editorial board (10/1/24) wrote that Iran’s October 1 operation against Israel “warrants a response targeting Iran’s military and nuclear assets. This is Iran’s second missile barrage since April, and no country can let this become a new normal.”
The editors wrote:
After April’s attack, the Biden administration pressured Israel for a token response, and President Biden said Israel should “take the win” since there was no great harm to Israel. Israel’s restraint has now yielded this escalation, and it is under no obligation to restrain its retaliation this time.
‘We need to escalate’
The New York Times‘ self-described “warmongering neocon” columnist Bret Stephens (10/1/24), in a piece headlined “We Absolutely Need to Escalate in Iran,” similarly filed Iran’s April and October strikes on Israel under “aggression” that requires a US/Israeli military “response.” And a Boston Globe editorial (10/3/24) wrote that Iran “launched a brazen attack,” arguing that the incident illustrated why US students are wrong to oppose American firms making or investing in Israeli weapons.
All of these pieces conveniently neglected to mention that Iran announced that its October 1 missile barrage was “a response to Israel’s recent assassinations of leaders of [Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps], Hezbollah and Hamas” (Responsible Statecraft, 10/1/24). One of these assassinations was carried out by a bombing in Tehran, the Iranian capital. But we can only guess as to whether the Globe thinks those killings are “brazen,” Stephens thinks they qualify as “aggression,” or if the Journal believes any country can let such assassinations “become a new normal.”
Likewise, Iran’s April strikes came after Israel’s attack on an Iranian consulate in Damascus that killed seven Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps officers (CBS, 4/14/24). At the time, Iran reportedly said that it would refrain from striking back against Israel if the latter agreed to end its mass murder campaign in Gaza (Responsible Statecraft, 4/8/24).

Two weeks ago, it was widely reported across all the Western legacy media that Israel had fire-bombed a hospital leaving patients to burn to death in their beds.
A few days later, we were told by the same Western legacy media that Israeli strikes inside Lebanon had destroyed a 2000-year-old village.
Today, CNN’s front page hosts an IDF soldier describing Israel’s practice of using civilians as human shields in Gaza, while the Guardian details an Israeli strike on school-turned-bomb shelter in Gaza.
Now, it’s not at all unusual that Israel should be committing war crimes, they’ve been doing so unchecked for decades.
But what is less usual is seeing these war crimes appearing on front pages and in headlines in the controlled media.
We’ve all been doing this long to have dispelled any idea the MSM cares about truth.
They don’t care about truth. Not at all. In fact these days their internal structures barely permit them to recognize truth as a concept.
Nothing – nothing – is so true the media have to report it, no crimes are so brutal they can’t be ignored.
Case in point, in Odessa in 2014 civilians protesting the NATO-backed coup in Ukraine were chased inside the Trade Union building by pro-coup neo-Nazis.
The building was barricaded and set on fire. People climbing out of the windows to escape the flames were shot at.
Forty people died, shot or burned to death. The neo-Nazis responsible celebrated by showing pictures of beetles being set alight (their disparaging term for ethnic Russians was “Colorado beetles” in reference to the orange and black ribbon of St George they wore).
How did the legacy media respond to this murder?
Well, they just lied.
They claimed the protesters set the fire by accident when they were throwing Molotov cocktails off the roof. This was a complete fabrication, contradicted by CCTV evidence, blaming the victims and covering for the fascists, but so what? They media didn’t care, they just kept repeating the lie and are still doing so today
Truth is irrelevant, narrative is all. That’s how the media works.
They’ve done the same in the past for Israel , the US, Saudi Arabia, NATO…whoever…countless times over the years.
And yet here we are, in 2024, with these Israeli crimes all over the controlled news.
They could lie if they wanted, as they usually do.
But they aren’t.
It prompts the eternal question: “Why this? Why now?”

“Reject Real ID, Don’t Use QR Codes Ever”

Nurse and author Twila Brase joined CHD.TV and “The Solari Report” to discuss the dangers of Real ID and QR Codes and how people can resist them.
“They’re trying to build a control grid and they’re building it in different steps,” Catherine Austin Fitts, founder and publisher of “The Solari Report,” told viewers of “The Financial Rebellion” on an episode of “Good Morning, CHD.”
Biometric scans, QR codes, Real ID, and digital money — they’re all steps in that process, said Austin Fitts.
“And when they all link together, you are in a digital concentration camp and they can take all of your assets, they can take your kids, they have complete control,” she said.
Some people oppose some steps and not others, Austin Fitts said. Conservatives tend to support a biometric surveillance system at the border, for example. But people don’t understand that the pieces are all part of building a total biometric surveillance system.
Austin Fitts — the former U.S. assistant secretary of Housing and Urban Development — cited historian Carol Quigley, who argued that part of the goal of financial capitalism was to concentrate financial control in private hands so that those who controlled the financial system could also control the political system.
Austin Fitts said today this type of control depends on the ability to centrally control the rules of finance. The central bankers are now merging with big tech, creating a control system. “And they’re doing it leg by leg, bit by bit,” Austin Fitts said. “And if you buy into the different bits, it’s going to snap together.”
She likened it to marching into the slaughterhouse. “We are helping to build our own prisons. You’ve got to back out,” she said
Austin Fitts said the key to a successful financial control grid is a high-quality national ID system like the national Real ID, that can be aggregated globally.
Co-host Carolyn Betts explained that in 2005, Congress passed the REAL ID Act, establishing a national system for sharing driver information across states. The system included federal requirements for more onerous forms of identification to obtain a driver’s license.

I have previously written for Jacobin about the controversial algorithmic video surveillance that France rolled out in advance of the Olympics — a test that was supposed to last through March 2025 and concern only large-scale public events like sporting matches and concerts. Experts in surveillance and human rights told me about the debilitating effects that such mass surveillance can have on dissent and peaceful protest — creating a dissuasive “chilling effect.”
“You get people used to it in that happy face, ‘celebration capitalism’ environment of the Olympics, and then that new technology that was injected during the Games in that state of exception becomes the norm for policing moving forward,” Jules Boykoff, a political scientist who has published multiple books about the Olympics, warned at the time.
As if on cue, as soon as the Olympics ended, a steady drumbeat of Macronist politicians began manufacturing consent around the need to keep this technology, which has not yet been independently studied or analyzed.
In September, less than two weeks after the Paralympic closing ceremony, Paris police chief Laurent Nuñez declared himself “in favor” of extending the technology. The news channel France Info, citing a government source, reported that Barnier’s interior minister also envisioned making the technology permanent. (Currently, a bill floated by a member of his right-wing Républicains party proposes a three-year extension.) Barnier’s speech, while not specifically mentioning the algorithmic video surveillance tool, pushed in this same direction.
“The government is going to do everything in its power to entrench [algorithmic video surveillance technology],” Élisa Martin, a member of the left-wing France Insoumise, told me over the phone. “We’re absolutely certain of this.”
“A Security Showcase for the World”
On July 26, as hundreds of boats carrying Olympians made their way down the river Seine during a rain-soaked opening ceremony watched by twenty-five million viewers worldwide, another show was taking place underground. On the French capital’s metro platforms, nearly five hundred state-of-the-art surveillance cameras were capturing and analyzing human behaviors in real time, assisted by an artificial intelligence tool called CityVision. The AI-based technology, produced by a French start-up, was rolled out across the metro system.
Above ground, 45,000 national police and an additional 20,000 military operatives patrolled the city. An estimated fifty-three drones were shot down by military anti-drone units in the first several days of the Games.
“The Olympics, and especially the opening ceremony on the Seine, were sold as “a security showcase for the world and a moment of experimentation,” Noémie Levain, a legal expert at La Quadrature du Net, a digital rights NGO, told me.
After the National Assembly passed an omnibus Olympics bill on May 19, 2023, which included, among other things, the legalization of AI-assisted mass surveillance tools, French tech start-ups presented offers for Olympics contracts — with several then selected in January 2024. One has been likened to a French version of Palantir — the Peter Thiel–owned surveillance company best known for its discriminatory policing tool used in cities like Los Angeles, which is set to host the next summer Olympics in 2028.
“The bread and butter of these companies is the analysis of human bodies,” Levain told me. “The idea is to analyze them, classify them, and come up with data points.”
The tool, as currently intended, is supposed to catch “predetermined events,” such as a terrorist attack or an “unusual crowd movement.” But researchers worry that the increased use of algorithms in predictive policing, which use racially biased statistics as their initial input, creates a pipeline for additional surveillance of vulnerable communities. “Increasing evidence suggests that human prejudices have been baked into these tools because the machine-learning models are trained on biased police data,” Will Douglas Heaven wrote in MIT Technology Review.

“Billionaires spew more CO2 pollution in 90 minutes than average person in a lifetime”

“The superrich are treating our planet like their personal playground, setting it ablaze for pleasure and profit,” said Oxfam executive director Amitabh Behar in a statement. “Their dirty investments and luxury toys—private jets and yachts—aren’t just symbols of excess; they’re a direct threat to people and the planet.”
The report explains that “Oxfam was able to identify the private jets belonging to 23 of 50 of the world’s richest billionaires; the others either do not own private jets or have kept them out of the public record.”
“On average, these 23 billionaires each took 184 flights—spending 425 hours in the air—over a 12-month period. That is equivalent to each of them circumnavigating the globe 10 times,” the publication continues. “On average, the private jets of these 23 superrich individuals emitted 2,074 tonnes of carbon a year. This is equivalent to 300 years’ worth of emissions for the average person in the world, or over 2,000 years’ worth for someone in the global poorest 50%.”
For example, Elon Musk, the world’s richest person based on Monday updates to the Bloomberg and Forbes lists, “owns (at least) two private jets which together produce 5,497 tonnes of CO2 per year,” the study highlights. “This is the equivalent of 834 years’ worth of emissions for the average person in the world, or 5,437 years’ worth for someone in the poorest 50%.”
“The two private jets owned by Jeff Bezos, founder and executive chairman of Amazon, collectively spent almost 25 days in the air, emitting 2,908 tonnes of CO2. It would take the average U.S. Amazon employee almost 207 years to emit that much,” the document adds. Bezos is the world’s second- or third-richest person, according to the various billionaire indexes.
The report says that “the number of superyachts has more than doubled since 2000, with around 150 new launches every year. Not only do these giant ships guzzle an immense amount of fuel for propulsion, their air conditioning, swimming pools, and extensive staff further add to emissions. Although they are moored for most of the year, about 22% of their overall emissions are generated during this ‘downtime.'”
“Superyachts are exempt from both E.U. carbon pricing and International Maritime Organization emissions rules,” the publication points out. “Oxfam was able to identify 23 superyachts owned by 18 of the 50 billionaires in our study. These floating mansions traveled an average of 12,465 nautical miles a year: This is equivalent to each superyacht crossing the Atlantic almost four times.”

In recent months [2023] the world is hearing unusual terms to describe extreme weather events. Now terms like Bomb Cyclone or Atmospheric Rivers are used in the daily TV weather reports to describe dumping of record volumes of rain or snow in regions of the world in an extremely destructive way. The Green Mafia claims, without a shred of factual proof, that it is all because of man’s too-large “carbon footprint.” They use it as an excuse to double down on phasing out oil, gas, coal as well as nuclear energy in favor of unworkable, taxpayer-subsidized “green energy”– unreliable wind or solar. Since late December, especially the United States has undergone severe weather events from the Bomb Cyclone storm that buried much of the East Coast in record snow from Buffalo down as far as Florida. At the same time the US West Coast from Washington State down the coast of California has undergone extreme flooding from wave after wave of so-called Oceanic Rivers carrying huge volumes of water from the Pacific causing severe flooding. Without presenting any scientific proof, green ideologues have claimed it is all due to manmade global warming– now called “climate change” to confuse the original issue– and argue for accelerated transition to a dystopian carbon free world.
A serious case can be made that it could well be manmade. But not because of too much CO2 or other manmade greenhouse gas emissions. It could be due to deliberate and malicious manipulation of our major weather patterns.
Geoengineering?
Weather manipulation technology is one of the areas that is highly secret and has been kept from open debate since the end of World War II. It is often called geoengineering or more recently the less ominous-sounding “climate intervention.” Whatever name, it involves man messing with the complexities of Earth weather, with potentially catastrophic results. What do we know about the possibilities?
Following the 2015 Paris Climate Conference and subsequent Paris Agreement, Peter Wadhams, professor of ocean physics at the University of Cambridge, along with other leading global warming scientists, began an open call for geoengineering to “solve” the alleged climate crisis and prevent global warming above 1.5 ‘ C above pre-industrial levels, an utterly arbitrary target. What the post-Paris scientists claim is that, “Our backs are against the wall and we must now start the process of preparing for geo-engineering. We must do this in the knowledge that its chances of success are small and the risks of implementation are great.“ [1] What they do not say is that geo-engineering weather manipulation has been developed in secrecy by the military and intelligence agencies of the USA for decades.

“Class of 2018 CIA/Pentagon Democrats Continue to Advance Hawkish Policies in Congress”

In March 2018, Patrick Martin of the World Socialist Web Site published a political pamphlet entitled “The CIA Democrats.”

In it, he wrote that “an extraordinary number of former intelligence and military operatives from the CIA, Pentagon, National Security Council and State Department” were “seeking nomination as Democratic candidates for Congress in the 2018 midterm elections.”[1]
Some of these candidates, like Elissa Slotkin, a former CIA operative with three tours in Iraq,[2] were recruited as part of a “red-to-blue” program targeting vulnerable Republican-held seats.
In the 2018 race, there were far more former spies and soldiers seeking the nomination of the Democratic Party than for the Republicans. Martin wrote that there were so many “spooks” that with a “nod to Mad Magazine,” one might call the primaries “spy vs. spy.”[3]
CovertAction Magazine has kept tabs on the “spook-soldiers” who were elected as part of the Class of 2018 and followed their careers in Congress. (according to Martin, 30 spook-soldiers won primaries and 11 were elected to Congress).
Key members of this class continue to advance hawkish foreign policies along with the shadowy practices of the intelligence agencies as members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, which is supposed to be a congressional oversight body.

I have a confession to make.
When a journalist writes this it generally means they will proceed to reveal something they hope will actually show them in a good light or justified in some way. But I have a real confession to make, of something I did that was wrong.
Somewhere in the U.K., among the papers of a dead loved one which nobody has the heart to throw out, in cardboard boxes in dusty attics or deep in the filing cabinets of Jeremy Corbyn, exist still a few copies of thousands of letters bearing my authentic signature.
These letters, on expensive paper with an impressive Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) crested header, state that the British government will not deal with the African National Congress because it is a terrorist organisation.
Many of them go on to state that Nelson Mandela is a terrorist who was rightly convicted of terrorism by a South African court after a free and fair trial.
I really did write those thousands of letters, not just sign them. I did not believe a single word of it, and was only “doing my job” as a civil servant, but in a sense that makes it worse.
So I know how many government functionaries currently feel in carrying out the government’s policy of supporting and indeed actively participating in genocide.
When I joined the FCO, in my “fast stream” intake of 22 I was one of only two who was not public school and the only one who was not Oxbridge. I also had the unusual background of being a member of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, Friends of Palestine and various other activist groups.
I could not be excluded because in the several days and stages of public examinations I had (tied with two others) outperformed everybody else of the 80,000 people who had entered the Civil Service administrative exams (it was 1984 with 3.5 million unemployed).
But the security services were not happy, and my “positive vetting” was delayed. This is an extremely exhaustive process (nowadays direct vetting) for those with the highest security clearance. An MOD officer, usually retired military, is assigned to investigate everything about you for months, including interviewing many who know you.
So while I joined the FCO in September 1984, for five months I was not given a job but rather put on full time French language training together with three other misfits (one of whom I think was being given extra investigation because his uncle was Roger Hollis).
South Africa Desk
In the end my positive vetting was left with a query, and I was pulled in to see the head of the Personnel Department. They said that they had decided to grant my vetting certificate, but that I was going to be placed on the South Africa (Political) desk as a direct test of whether it was possible for me to put my politics aside and function as a civil servant.
So I did. You tell yourself many things to get by, chiefly that the U.K. is a democracy and ministers are elected by voters to determine policy; whereas you as a civil servant are merely carrying through the wishes of the voters.
Margaret Thatcher was prime minister and she simply was a straightforward supporter of apartheid. This is much denied but I am an eye witness. Geoffrey Howe was foreign minister and it was never easy to determine what he thought about anything. Junior ministers running day-to-day policy were Lynda Chalker and Malcolm Rifkind, who were both viscerally anti-apartheid.

For over twenty years Bill Gates and his Foundation, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) have been vaccinating foremost children by the millions in remote areas of poor countries, mostly Africa and Asia. Most of their vaccination program had disastrous results, causing the very illness (polio, for example in India) and sterilizing young women (Kenya, with modified tetanus vaccines). Many of the children died. Many of the programs were carried out with the backing of the WHO and – yes – the UN Agency responsible for the Protection of Children, UNICEF.
Most of these vaccination campaigns were implemented without the informed-consent of the children, parents, guardians or teachers, nor with the informed-consent, or with forged consent, of the respective government authorities. In the aftermath, The Gates Foundation was sued by governments around the world, Kenya, India, the Philippines – and more.
Bill Gates has a strange image of himself. He sees himself as The Messiah who saves the world through vaccination – and through population reduction.
Around the time, when the 2010 Rockefeller Report was issued, with its even more infamous “Lock Step” Scenario, precisely the scenario of which we are living the beginning right now, Bill Gates talked on a TED show in California, “Innovating to Zero” about the use of energy.
