The Wandering Earth (2019) is a groundbreaking sci-fi adventure set in the distant future when the sun is on the verge of extinction. To save humanity, Earth’s inhabitants embark on an ambitious mission to move the planet to a new solar system using giant thrusters. As unexpected challenges arise, heroes must come together to protect the future of humankind. Filled with stunning visuals and gripping moments, The Wandering Earth is an epic story of courage, teamwork, and survival. The Wandering Earth 2019, sci-fi adventure, futuristic story, saving Earth, global mission, space exploration, stunning visuals, teamwork and survival, epic journey, science fiction film, high-stakes action, courage and sacrifice, innovative sci-fi.
In the year 2058, an anomalously expanding red giant Sun threatens to engulf the Earth within 100 years. Under a world government, humanity has constructed 12,000 enormous fusion-powered "Earth Engines" to thrust Earth out of the Solar System. Before his mission aboard the Navigation Platform International Space Station, Chinese astronaut Liu Peiqiang leaves his son Qi in the care of his father-in-law Han Zi'ang. Half of humanity, mostly chosen by lottery, has moved underground; the others died from the cold and cataclysms resulting from the halt of the Earth's rotation as the planet was thrust from orbit further from the sun.
The Wandering Earth is a 2019 Chinese science fiction film directed by Frant Gwo, loosely based on the 2000 short story of the same name by Liu Cixin. The film stars Wu Jing, Qu Chuxiao, Li Guangjie, Ng Man-tat, Zhao Jinmai and Qu Jingjing. Set in the far future, it follows a group of astronauts and rescue workers guiding the Earth away from an expanding Sun, while attempting to prevent a collision with Jupiter. The film was theatrically released in China on 5 February 2019 (Chinese New Year’s Day), by China Film Group Corporation.

Subject : Corporate Capitalist Theory and Praxis: 4-profit wars, population control technology & monetized genocide.
Grenoble, France
April 9, 2025
Dear Colleagues and Friends of CEIMSA,
In this week’s CEIMSA Bulletin we will visit articles and essays dealing with recession, artificial scarcity, censorship technology, and depopulation programs, including wars, politically manufactured epidemics, and euthanasia policies, past and present.
The 23+ items below have been selected from the critical Anglophone social media. Many of these articles and essays are critical of the corporate capitalist political economy which is presently in the throes of an unprecedented crisis for its very survival, thereby presenting an existential threat to all of humanity. Many of these discussions reflect on the moral turpitude of elites who would continue to rule over us, exposing the emptiness of their ruling-class culture which seems to have nothing to offer the majority of the world’s population, and indeed represents a threat to all of us. Instead, this predatory culture practiced by “successful” opportunists, has demonstrated its moral bankruptcy and a pathetic inadequacy when it comes to a comprehension of the human condition, including their own.
In the face of this cultural hegemony of ahistorical ignorance, we are left to make our way, as best we can, knowing that the increasing alienation around us spells catastrophe for ourselves and our species, unless . . . .
The mass murders with impunity that we are witnessing today are in fact the collective suicide of us all. We must be stopped in this corporate murder immediately!
Sincerely,
Francis McCollum Feeley

Since the announcement of Donald Trump’s “Liberation Day” tariffs, much attention has been focused on the curious method used to determine the tariffs levied on goods from different countries. Economists, in fact, have been widely shocked at the slapdash and borderline incoherent approach the Trump administration has taken to calculating tariffs.
Guest host Aaron Maté and economist James K. Galbraith discuss the tariffs’ impact and why the era of low priced consumer goods may be over.

In an appearance on CNBC, Cassidy said congressional Republicans will look at cutting not just discretionary spending in the budget—to partially pay for President Donald Trump's tax cuts for the rich—but also mandatory spending like Medicare, the overwhelmingly popular and critical program that provides health care to more than 68 million older Americans. "Let's look at Medicare: Is there some way we can cut Medicare so that, excuse me, reform Medicare so that benefits stay the same but that it's less expensive, more efficient?" Cassidy said. “I would say that there is, and that's where our opportunity lies.” Guest host Aaron Maté and former Democratic Congressman Dennis Kucinich discuss Cassidy’s slip of the tongue, and what “reforming” Medicare will likely really mean.

“Ellen Brown: McKinley or Lincoln? Tariffs vs. Greenbacks”

https://scheerpost.com/2025/04/07/ellen-brown-mckinley-or-lincoln-tariffs-vs-greenbacks/
by Ellen Brown
President Trump has repeatedly expressed his admiration for Republican President William McKinley, highlighting his use of tariffs as a model for economic policy. But as critics note, Trump’s tariffs, which are intended to protect U.S. interests, have instead fueled a stock market nosedive, provoked tit-for-tat tariffs from key partners, risk a broader trade withdrawal, and could increase the federal debt by reducing GDP and tax income.
The federal debt has reached $36.2 trillion, the annual interest on it is $1.2 trillion, and the projected 2025 budget deficit is $1.9 trillion – meaning $1.9 trillion will be added to the debt this year. It’s an unsustainable debt bubble doomed to pop on its present trajectory.
The goal of Elon Musk’s DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) is to reduce the deficit by reducing budget expenditures. But Musk now acknowledges that the DOGE team’s efforts will probably cut expenses by only $1 trillion, not the $2 trillion originally projected. That will leave a nearly $1 trillion deficit that will have to be covered by more borrowing, and the debt tsunami will continue to grow.
Rather than modeling the economy on McKinley, President Trump might do well to model it on our first Republican president, Abraham Lincoln, whose debt-free Greenbacks saved the country from a crippling war debt to British-backed bankers, and whose policies laid the foundation for national economic resilience in the coming decades. Just “printing the money” can be and has been done sustainably, by directing the new funds into generating new GDP,; and there are compelling historical examples of that approach. In fact it may be our only way out of the debt crisis. But first a look at the tariff issue.
Trump Channels McKinley
Trump said at a 2024 campaign event, “In the 1890s, our country was probably the wealthiest it ever was because it was a system of tariffs.” And in his second inaugural address on January 20, 2025, he said, “The great President William McKinley made our country very rich through tariffs and through talent.”

“Marx, the First Real Globalist”
https://www.globalresearch.ca/marx-the-first-real-globalist/14012
by William Bowles (2009)
If nothing else, the wholesale plunder of the planet’s natural resources has brought into sharp focus the necessity for some kind of global (and globally enforceable) regulation of what’s left of the planet’s precious cargo of life. But can capitalism undertake such a task? Not only that, is it willing to do so and is even some kind of ‘reformed’ capitalism capable of doing so given that the basic drive of capitalism is expand or die.
The clarion call of Marx and his 19th century socialists was Internationalism, ‘All Workers of the World Unite’, predicated as it was on the globalizing nature of industrial capitalism as it sought to expand the capitalist market into every nook and cranny where there was a buck to be made. And in so doing, Marx correctly predicted that industrial capitalism would create an organized and politically conscious working class wherever it spread, who were at the time, the most advanced section of working people, and that it would be the organized working class ‘led’ by a revolutionary organization that would do away with capitalism and replace it with a rational, planned socialist economy.
So much for the theory. The practice has taught some of us valuable lessons about just how difficult it is to build a socialist economy and not merely because we had nothing but theory to go on but also because the dominant capitalist states were determined that any and all alternatives to capitalism would and should fail and crucially, should be seen to fail.
That said, it is now apparent that the scale of the plundering is so huge that it threatens the future of life on the planet let alone the possibility of socialism, and it is most visible in the planet’s oceans with some estimates suggesting that in less than forty years 90% of the ocean’s fish stock will have been wiped out. With 1 billion people totally dependent on fish as their source of protein, this is a crisis of staggering proportions. And the thought of our planet’s oceans empty of life is simply too appalling to contemplate! The ocean is after all, our womb, we even cry salt tears.
The plain fact is, that rather than rising populations being the cause of resource depletion (Malthus rears his ugly, dead head once again), it is the insatiable appetites of the allegedly developed nations, perhaps 10% of the world’s population that is responsible for the carnage.
Around ten million sharks are slaughtered every year just for the unfortunate creature’s fins to satisfy the desires of a handful of wealthy Japanese. The carcass is tossed back into the ocean.
Every year millions of tons of tuna are sucked out of the ocean just so we can have a damn tuna sandwich, and it’s not like these are necessities, they are luxuries we can well do without. But how do you regulate 70% of planet when our ‘global’ economy is a free-for-all?
The issue is simple: can capitalism solve the crisis that confronts us without signing its own death warrant and is it even willing to try? History shows us that the answer is a resounding no to both questions.
Is Cuba showing us the way forward?
There is a certain irony in the fact that Cuba, through force of circumstance has had to embark on the construction of a sustainable economy. But it’s no accident that the world’s only socialist economy has embarked on such a revolutionary course for it is literally the only country on the planet capable of undertaking such a task. That it is in part because of the decades-long US embargo coupled to the collapse of the Soviet Union in no way diminishes the accomplishment. But regardless of the reasons, Cuba has shown us not only that it’s possible but impossible without a planned, socialist economy.
Imagine if you will, another island nation, the UK, taking a comparable route to the future? Cuba is after all, a poor country that for decades has been deliberately starved of resources and, like other countries that attempted to construct socialism, it lacks a developed infrastructure. In a word it was the least equipped to take on such a gargantuan task, let alone do it in the shadow of ‘El Norte’.
Everything that Marx wrote 150 years ago pointed in the direction that we are now being forced to consider. But will it take ecological collapse to get us to confront the issue and will that be too late?
This is not an academic question, it is now an issue of survival. But will it be only when there are no cans of tuna on the shelves or fish in the chippie that our overfed and under-informed populace wake up to the reality of the situation?
In the past, the struggle for socialism was predicated on economic and political justice for all working people and this hasn’t changed but what has changed is that the effects of unending ’growth’, that is, expansion of the capitalist ‘market’ has finally met its limit, the planet itself.
But if you think this would be some kind of wake-up call to our so-called leaders, think again. Can a leopard change its spots? Instead, it’s seen as yet another opportunity to make money! Worse still, the responsibility for ending this madness has been dumped on us but crucially without any corresponding power to do anything meaningful about it. Instead we are brow-beaten into tightening our belts, even criminalized for dumping too much garbage! Garbage we didn’t create but are forced to buy when we go to the supermarket. We get the guilt and Tesco’s shareholders get the gelt.

“History of Economic Thought: John Maynard Keynes and the Battle for Bretton Woods”

by Matthew Ehret-Kump (2021)
From Fabian Eugenicist to World Government High Priest.
Under the Keynesian takeover of Bretton Woods Trans-Atlantic nations became increasingly dominated by bloated bureaucratic systems while plans for genuine development were undermined, Matthew Ehret writes. It is as if the battle lines of civil war have been drawn up between masses of Americans who have been led to believe in either a false “bottom up” approach to economics, as defined by the Austrian School represented by Friedrich von Hayek, or in the “top-down” approach of John Maynard Keynes. The former sacrifices the general welfare of the whole nation for the sake of the parts (i.e. individual liberties), while the latter sacrifices the individual liberties of each citizen for the sake of the general welfare (or at least some oligarch’s definition of what that should be).
In my last article, I introduced, in broad strokes, a history of the American System of political economy as advanced by Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, John Jay, Henry Clay, Henry Carey, Lincoln, and McKinley. We reviewed how it was derailed by McKinley’s 1901 murder and was only revived 30 years later with Franklin Roosevelt’s 1932 presidential victory which put a stop to the 1933 Bankers Dictatorship.
Finally, we briefly explored how and why both John Maynard Keynes and Friedrich von Hayek whose ideas so deeply influence the polarization of the USA today, not only despised FDR but hated everything the republic stood for.
In this second installment of a three-part series, we will shed light on the anti-human ideas and the political operations that shaped the mind, the life and the politics of Lord John Maynard Keynes (1883-1946).
Keynes the Fabian Eugenicist
Although Keynes is heralded as the guiding light of the New Deal (and, as such defended by modern “Green New Dealers” and Great Reset technocrats wishing to impose a top-down system of governance onto the world), the fact is that Keynes not only detested Franklin Roosevelt, but also humanity more in general.
This will be seen clearly in 1) his devotion to the theories of Thomas Malthus, 2) his promotion of eugenics as a science of racial purification and population control, and 3) his general devotion to World Government as a leading member of the Fabian Society.
From his earliest days at Cambridge where he rose quickly to become one of the select Cambridge Apostles and shared, among other things, a lifelong friendship with Lord Bertrand Russell, Keynes devoted himself to the service of empire, becoming Knight of the Order of Bath and Order of Leopold by 1919.
His early 1911 book on Indian Currency and Finance (conducted during his five-year foray in the Empire’s Indian Office) ignored all actual political reasons for the famines plaguing India and argued coldly for a greater integration of the Indian banking system into the City of London controls which would somehow solve India’s problems. The provable reality was that Indian famines were coordinated tools of population control by the Malthusian elite of the British establishment who considered “war, famine and disease” as the gifts nature gave the strong to manage the weak.
While his later 1919 Consequences of the Peace appeared to be a reasonably sympathetic warning that the draconian Versailles reparations would do incredible damage and lead to a new world war, in reality, Keynes was displaying a cold sleight of hand. Serving as British Treasury representative to the Versailles Conference, Keynes never opposed fascism: he merely argued that a more liberal pathway to global fascism could be established under the direction of the Bank of England. His opposition, though, to the more violent approach preferred by conservative imperialists among the British Intelligentsia, was one of form more than substance.
Keynes and his fellow Fabians H.G. Wells, Bertrand Russell and G.B Shaw preferred the “slow and steady” “long game”, reminiscent of the Roman general Quintus Fabius Maximus who famously fought his enemies by slow attrition rather than in full-scale confrontation. Due to the public’s general ignorance of this strategy, we celebrate these Fabian Society luminaries for their pacifism, though in reality they were just as racist, fascist and eugenics-loving as their more short-sighted, hard-stomached counterparts sir Oswald Mosley, Lord Alfred Milner and even Winston Churchill.
Where the real solution to the hyperinflationary money printing and economic industrial shutdown of Germany during the post WWI years was to be found in the German-Russian Rapallo Agreement (destroyed with the assassination of American System Foreign Minister Walter Rathenau), Keynes and his ilk merely called for economic integration of the German banking and military system under Bank of England/League of Nations control.
Malthus, Eugenics and Keynes
Two theories advanced by the British Empire in response to the growth of the American System, first in the USA, and later internationally, were those of Thomas Malthus, and of Francis Galton, a cousin of Charles Darwin who coined the term “eugenics” in 1883. These sister concepts served as nothing less than religious precepts for the ruling elite as it desperately reorganized itself in the late 19th century.
It must be kept firmly in mind that at this period the British Empire was weak, and incapable of stopping the electric spread of win-win cooperation as the American System was sped around the world bringing progress and full-spectrum economics in its wake. One of the leading voices of the American System in 1890 was Colorado’s first Governor William Gilpin whose The Cosmopolitan Railway laid out a practical vision for a world united by rail, development, and national banking [see map].
READ MORE: How an Austrian and British Malthusian Brainwashed a Generation of Americans
Nevertheless, the Empire was determined to put an end to the spread of the American System.
A new breed of think tanks was created to shape the Empire’s grand strategy in the face of this growth of independent sovereign nations: these were T.H. Huxley’s X Club (c.1865), the Fabian Society (c.1884), and the Roundtable Group (c.1902). Where Huxley’s X Club coordinated with Cambridge, and the Roundtable Group/Rhodes Trust interfaced with Oxford, the Fabian Society created a new school called the London School of Economics. All three worked together as one unit.
Defining his misanthropic belief in overpopulation, Thomas Malthus (a British East India Company economist) stated in his famous 1799 Essay on Population:
“The power of population is so superior to the power in the earth to produce subsistence for man, that premature death must in some shape or other visit the human race.”

https://www.globalresearch.ca/gilded-age-part-1-end-reconstruction-rutherford-b-hayes/5882971
by Richard C. Cook
During the 35 years between the end of the Civil War and the start of the 20th century, the Industrial Revolution exploded in innovation and transformed the world—or at least the Western world, including the US.
But there were some big problems with the effects of the Industrial Revolution. One problem was that much of the world suffered in the throes of colonialism, with the Western nations reaping unheard-of profits and the rest of the world laboring in poverty as their countries supplied the raw materials for productive enterprise. Another problem was that while the people in charge—the capitalists—became vastly more rich than anything ever seen before, the people who did the work in their factories worked at or even below starvation level. So an age of revolution also began.
In the US, the period became known as the Gilded Age. It was no accident that the monetary system itself continued its reliance on a gold-backed currency.
The next few selections from Our Country, Then and Now feature various dimensions of events taking place, including observations from one American president and the assassinations of two others.
By the end of the 19th century, while many believed that humanity stood on the verge of unparalleled enlightenment and prosperity, a century of world wars lurked around the corner that has not ended to this day.

“Trump’s State Department Would Support Literally Any Israeli Atrocity”
https://www.globalresearch.ca/trump-state-department-support-israeli-atrocity/5883223
by Caitlin Johnstone
It’s clear that Trump’s State Department spokeswoman has been instructed to respond to any and all questions about Israeli atrocities in Gaza by blaming everything on Hamas, without even pretending to care whether the allegations are true.
For some background, Israel has just been caught perpetrating an atrocity so monstrous and so abundantly well-evidenced that even the mainstream western press have felt obligated to report on it. Outlets like the Guardian and the BBC are covering the story of how 15 medical workers for the Red Cross, Civil Defense, and the UN were apparently handcuffed and executed one by one by Israeli forces in Rafah before being buried in a mass grave. According to Palestinian Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Basal, they were each shot more than 20 times.
(As an aside, the fact that Israeli forces have been known to bury the victims of their atrocities in order to hide the evidence is one of the many reasons why the official death toll from the Israeli onslaught in Gaza is definitely a massive undercount.)
Asked by the BBC’s Tom Bateman about these reports during a Monday press briefing, State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce responded by babbling about how evil Hamas is and how they are to blame for everything bad that happens in Gaza.

Tensions between the U.S., Iran, and Russia have escalated after U.S. President Donald Trump threatened Iran with "bombing like never before" if it refuses to agree to a nuclear deal. Russia condemned the threats, warning of "catastrophic consequences" if strikes target Iran's nuclear infrastructure. Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov criticised the U.S. approach as "inappropriate" and offered Moscow's mediation to prevent further escalation. Watch the video for details.

“‘There Will Be Bombings If...’: US President Issues Dire Waring To Iran On Nuclear Deal”
by Hindustan Times
Trump Warns of Bombing and Tariffs if Iran Fails to Strike Nuclear Deal
US President Donald Trump has warned that Iran could face bombings if it does not agree to a nuclear deal with the United States. In an interview with NBC News, Trump also said he may impose secondary tariffs on Tehran, similar to those enforced during his previous term.
"If they don't make a deal, there will be bombing. But there's a chance that if they don't make a deal, I will do secondary tariffs on them like I did four years ago," he said.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has dismissed direct negotiations with Washington, citing a lack of trust after the US pulled out of the 2015 nuclear agreement. However, he has hinted at the possibility of indirect talks through intermediaries such as Oman.
Tensions between the US and Iran have escalated further, with the US recently carrying out airstrikes against Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen. Meanwhile, the deployment of B-2 stealth bombers to Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean suggests a possible preparation for military action if diplomatic efforts fail.

“The Democrat and Republican Signal Group Farce. The Attack on Yemen”
https://www.globalresearch.ca/democrat-republican-signal-group-farce/5883034
by Emanuel Pastreich
The field day that the Democratic Party has had in Congress attacking members of the Trump administration for their use of a Signal group to discuss the barbaric attack on Yemen speaks volumes about the complete decay of that party and of its inability to offer even symbolic opposition to the drive for totalitarian government by the Trump administration. The truth is that Democrats are as much a part of the drive for dictatorship as is the Netanyahu administration in Jerusalem. The bogus soap opera about Bernie Sanders trying to keep down a progressive AOL fell flat in this political morgue.
To start with, hours of debate in Congress, and hundreds of hours of media time were wasted on the question of whether foreign intelligence might have been able to access these conversations. No one asked why Yemen needed to be attacked, why people had to be killed in this pointless show of force. Nor did anyone ask what this attack had to do with the efforts to launch a total war against Iran through an alliance between the United States and Israel based on classified agreements and treaties.
No one talked about how a war-time governance system and war time economy are being assembled, step by step, right now in the United States—the ban on anti-semitism being the main excuse for the switch to a wartime control of information.
Most likely the entire Signal story is a fairytale meant to distract us from the real move to ramp up for war with Iran. Filling up the feeble minds of the policy wonks with such dribble is the best distraction.
No one asked who is really giving the orders in the White House, and why. Certainly, Trump is not capable ordering anything but Diet Coke.
The True Purpose of Tariffs: Creating Chokepoints That Advance Class Warfare
No one asked about the outsourcing of the entire military chain of command to private multinational firms like Palantir that work hand in hand with private equity.
Most importantly, the entire attack on the Trump administration by the Democrats was based on the assumption that their greatest sin was that they might have allowed some secrets out.
In fact, any real opposition to the Trump administration would demand that everything since the state crimes of 2001 be declassified in full so that we can at last have a reckoning with the criminal dictatorship that has been running the nation since then. We need to end all the secrets, not to increase them.
What about the new systems of low-orbit satellites and the new generation of drones that will be deployed?
What about the new nanotechnology weapons systems that will be deployed?
What about the various underground tunnel digging drones and other devices being used to create enormous underground military facilites and tunnels around the world in preparation for a war like none other?
What about the plans to destroy the entire economy as a means of rendering citizens incapable of protesting anything when the complete military government is rolled out?
Well, you will not hear any Democrats bringing up these subjects!

“The ‘President of Peace’ Just Bombed Yemen 65 Times in 24 Hours”
https://www.globalresearch.ca/president-peace-bombed-yemen-65-times-24-hours/5883064
by Caitlin Johnstone
The US launched 65 airstrikes in 24 hours in Yemen, and then Trump’s intelligence chief Tulsi Gabbard tweeted, “President Trump IS the President of Peace. He is ending bloodshed across the world and will deliver lasting peace in the Middle East.”
These freaks have no connection with reality.
I saw a video the other day of a father cradling the decapitated head of his son from an airstrike in Gaza, and I’m told I’m a terrorist supporter if I criticize the people who decapitated him.
The word “terrorist” is a meaningless tool of imperial narrative control.
Want to bomb some people? Designate them as terrorists.
Want to silence protesters and dissidents? Say they’re supporting terrorists.
Want sweeping surveillance powers? Say you need them to fight terrorism.
The list of people the Trump administration is working to deport for speech crimes against Israel is getting longer and longer, and includes a doctoral student whose sole offense was writing an op-ed critical of the Gaza holocaust.
Republicans spent years whining that government is too big and free speech is dying and everyone’s too weak and sensitive, only to turn around and applaud the government for stomping out free speech to protect their delicate little ears from hearing wrongthink about Israel.
Two recent headlines:
“Israel admits firing at ambulances in Gaza,” from The Guardian,
and
“Israeli soldier tells CBS News he was ordered to use Palestinians as human shields in Gaza.”
The western press are only allowed to report on Israeli crimes when the Israelis admit to it themselves.
Half of the evidence of Israeli atrocities in Gaza comes from Palestinians filming their own genocide. The other half comes from Israelis telling the press what they’ve been up to.

“Trump Moves ‘Nuclear Capable’ Bombers to Within Striking Distance of Iran”

https://www.globalresearch.ca/trump-moves-nuclear-capable-bombers-striking-distance-iran/5883098
by Mike Whitney
A war with Iran would be 10 to 15 times worse than the Iraq War in terms of casualties and costs… And we would lose. We would undoubtedly lose….”
—Retired Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson
“There has been much discussion about the relocation of B-2 bombers to Diego Garcia in anticipation of a potential conflict with Iran… However, the B-2 excels primarily against small, unsophisticated, and impoverished nations equipped with outdated air defense systems. …In short, the B-2 is a sophisticated tool for intimidating weaker adversaries but is largely ineffective against modern Integrated Air Defense Systems (IADS).”
—Mike Mihajlovic @MihajlovicMike
Recent reports and satellite imagery indicate a significant buildup of US military assets at Diego Garcia, a strategic base in the Indian Ocean. The Pentagon has deployed seven B-2 Spirit stealth bombers (capable of carrying nuclear payloads) numerous C-17 transport planes, ten KC-135 refueling tankers, an Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine, and two carrier groups to locations where they can be used in a preemptive attack on Iran. The unprecedented buildup coincides with recent threats by President Donald Trump regarding Iran’s nuclear enrichment program. On Friday, Trump delivered another ominous warning to Iran during a briefing at the White House. He said:
Iran is very high on my list of things to watch. … We will have to talk it out or very bad things are going to happen to Iran…. My big preference is that we work it out with Iran, but if we don’t work it out, bad, bad things are going to happen to Iran.
The increase in warnings along with the deployment of B-2 bombers has caused a stir among analysts, many of who now believe that Trump is planning to target Iran’s nuclear facilities with “low yield” nuclear bunker buster bombs that are designed to penetrate and destroy underground, fortified facilities. If that action were to take place, Iran would be forced to launch massive retaliatory attacks on US and Israeli bases, naval assets, critical infrastructure and oil facilities across the Middle East. And, if those attacks were able to inflict significant damage on US or Israeli targets, then we could see a rapid escalation to a nuclear war, a scenario that seems more likely now than ever before. This is an excerpt from an interview with former weapons inspector Scott Ritter:
…seven B-2 bombers have been deployed from Whitman Airforce base in the United States to Diego Garcia. This is an unprecedented deployment. And they are matched with 10 KC-31 Tankers; that’s what’s needed to launch an attack against a target like Iran. This is something that should wake people up because there is real potential for conflict….The fact is there are B-2 bombers, there are Ohio class submarines, there are nuclear weapons attached to each of these weapons systems; nuclear weapons that have been built for the sole purpose of attacking targets like these that exist in Iran. … I am simply stating the fact that the Trump administration has a nuclear posture attached to a nuclear employment plan that will use nuclear weapons in a conflict against Iran, and we can’t pretend that that doesn’t exist. Scott Ritter; minute 5:40
It’s worth noting, that the Trump administration is on the verge of launching a war on a country that poses no national security threat to the United States, nor does it threaten US interests in the region. Iran’s only crime is that it occupies a piece of real estate in a region where Israel is determined to be the dominant power. That means Iran’s military capability must be significantly diminished by Israel’s favorite pit-bull, the United States. To that end, wealthy Zionists filled Trump’s campaign coffers during the last presidential election knowing that Trump’s vast popularity would be useful in advancing the Israeli agenda. The primary goal of that agenda has always been the obliteration of Iran’s military capability so that Israel can emerge as the as the regional hegemon unopposed. Trump is merely playing the role for which he was chosen. Here’s more from Ritter:
Scott Ritter—When Trump was president last time (2016) he redid the Nuclear Posture Review and the Nuclear Employment Guidance. And the Nuclear Employment Guidance is the war plan. The war plan was rewritten so he could launch nuclear strikes on Iran. So we’re ready to launch strikes on Iran today, the plan was implemented… we have the weapons, we’ve identified the targets ….
Question—What was rewritten?
Scott Ritter—You need specific weapons-types…. We do now have a new nuclear “low yield” bunker busting bomb that will penetrate and destroy the facility with minimal fallout (We have similar nukes on Trident submarines in the region that can be used in a decapitation strike on Iran) We are ready to go to war against Iran. We have already made that decision; the plan exists.
Question—So what you’re telling me is that, if Iran develops a nuclear weapon…
Scott Ritter—We will strike, and they will be annihilated… They’ll never know what his them, and they’ll never recover from it.... The American plan will not kill tens of millions of Iranians, but it will kill tens of thousands of Iranians, destroy the nuclear infrastructure, and set Iran back forever. The alternative for Iran is to negotiate away their nuclear (program) Scott Ritter
This is why Ritter is so worried. He seriously believes that Trump is planning to preemptively attack Iran’s nuclear sites which would set the dominoes in motion triggering a nuclear war. To me, this seems like a reasonable concern, but, surprisingly, Ritter’s analysis has ignited a firestorm among a number of his supporters online who have (overnight) turned into some of his most vicious critics. Here’s a short clip from a post by Sony Thang@nxt888 that has been widely circulated on X:
Scott… Let me tell you plainly: If the U.S. uses nuclear weapons against Iran—even “tactical” ones—the spell breaks. Forever. The myth of Western restraint dies in the open. The lie of rules-based order evaporates in radioactive dust….
China won’t wait to be next. Russia will tighten its alliance with Tehran. The Global South will turn its back for good. And every nation not under Washington’s boot will know the truth: if you don’t arm yourself, you will be annihilated.
That’s not proliferation. That’s inevitability.
You say, “Only one nation walks away.”
No, Scott.
No one walks away from nuclear war. Not cleanly. Not economically. Not morally. But let’s entertain your scenario.
Iran is wiped out. Oil hits $500 a barrel. The Strait of Hormuz is a graveyard. The global economy implodes—not just Europe and Asia, but the dollar itself, because trust dies when empire burns its last moral pretense.
And here’s the part your Pentagon fantasies never compute: It’s not just bombs that bring nations to their knees. It’s legitimacy. Once lost, never regained.
And the U.S.? Already staggering from endless wars—it won’t rise from the ashes of another charred country. It’ll sink into them.
You claim you “assess the world as it is”?
Then look again. The American empire is not ascending.
Why Israel’s Attack on Iran Was a Bust
It’s cornered. It’s flailing. It’s threatening annihilation not out of strength, but fear. Fear that the world it dominated is slipping away. Fear that Iran refuses to kneel. And fear that history, which you once claimed would hold America accountable, is no longer on your side.
So, keep listing your bombers, your submarines, your low-yield fantasies. Because beneath all that steel and strategy lies a single truth:
You’ve already lost the moral war.
And when that goes? Everything else follows. Sony Thang
The overall thrust of these critiques is a tacit objection to any move by Iran to compromise (or negotiate) with the Trump administration. This is generally perceived as “caving in” to the evil empire. (which, in many respects, is true.)
It’s worth noting, that Iran is not currently in violation of The Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) nor has it been in the past. In fact, Iran has willingly complied with numerous additional protocols and confidence building measures (that were never imposed on any other country) all aimed at allaying fears that it was secretly developing nuclear weapons. But as Tulsi Gabbard confirmed recently, and former CIA Director William Burns before her; Iran does not have nukes, is not building nukes, and has not broken its agreements under the NPT. The whole matter is a mendacious confection concocted by powerful Zionists and their media collaborators who want to destroy Iran in order for Israel to become the dominant power in the Middle East.
It’s also worth noting the dishonest way this crisis has been presented to the American people. The public has been led to believe that Trump is trying to prevent nuclear proliferation when, in fact, the administration is demanding that Iran abandon its ballistic missile program as well.
On March 23, 2025, on Face the Nation, Trump advisor Mike Waltz stated bluntly that Trump’s demands include the dismantling of Iran’s “strategic missile program”. But Iran’s ballistic missiles do not violate any international law nor are they banned under any treaty obligation. Trump is simply ordering Iran to surrender the means by which it defends itself or face military action by the US. Is that a reasonable demand?
No, it is national suicide. And, once again, the origin of this insanity is Benjamin Netanyahu who has consistently urged the U.S. to take stronger action against Iran’s missile capabilities. (Israel’s agents in Congress introduced the MISSILES Act in July 2023 to codify U.S. sanctions on Iran’s missile and drone programs, citing Israel’s security. At the same time, Trump’s “maximum pressure” campaign has included “missile-related entities”…”credited to Netanyahu’s input.”)
In short, Iran is being asked to willingly disarm itself so Israel can do to Iran what it is currently doing to Syria and Lebanon. Why would they do that?
They won’t. They will open back-channel communications with Trump’s envoys and continue to comply with their treaty obligations but eventually Trump will order air-strikes on nuclear targets in Iran signaling the beginning of the war. And that will pit America’s out-of-date weapons cache up-against Iran’s state-of-the-art ballistic missile systems that will—as Will Schryver opines—expose American weakness, not reinforce the widespread mythology of untouchable American strength.
The reasons for this are easy to understand. Following last year’s tit-for-tat missile attacks between Israel and Iran, a fantastical narrative emerged that Israeli air strikes on Iran were successful while Iranian missile attacks on Israel failed to do any significant damage. But nothing could be further from the truth. Israel’s air campaign was sharply rebuffed by Iran’s advanced multi-layered air defense systems while the vast majority of Iran’s long-range hypersonic ballistic missiles cut-through Israeli vaunted air defense systems striking targets without interference. . . . .

“Preparing for War Is an American Institution”

https://www.globalresearch.ca/preparing-war-american-institution/5883036
by Paul C. Roberts
In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists, and will persist.” — President Dwight D. Eisenhower
In the 1960s and 1970s when the US actually had an enemy, though possibly one of our own making, there was a peace movement. It might well have come from left-wing professors in the universities who did not think racist America was worth defending.
In the first quarter of the 21st century, a period of many American wars of choice, there is no peace movement. In her book, Joan Roelofs asks:
“Why is there so much acceptance of and so little protest against our government’s illegal and immoral wars and other military operations? Why is there mostly silence about the death and destruction that wars and even the preparation for war inflict on people, including the troops, and on the environment? Why is there so little concern about the potential for the extinction of human and other life posed by nuclear war, now seen as an ‘option’ by the US and other militaries?”
Her answer is in her title: The Trillion Dollar Silencer. You might think that the money goes for weapons, but much of it is used to purchase universities and faculties, think tanks, nonprofit organizations, state and local governments, media, contractors, and foreign governments.
The Department of Defense tentacles reach everywhere. With so many so dependent on DOD handouts, there is no one left to protest.
READ MORE: 9/11 After 22 years
Roelofs’ research is exhaustive. She packs an amazing amount of detail including names and monetary amounts in 200 pages. For example, Roelofs explains how the CIA salts money around. The CIA creates dummy foundations and makes grants to them. The dummy foundations then make grants to legitimate foundations, and the foundations pass the money on to the CIA-designated groups.
President Eisenhower warned about the growing power of the military/security complex. Nothing was done about it. The power has grown so great that the Department of Defense cannot pass an audit, and several trillion dollars are unaccounted for. You might remember that whatever it was that hit the Pentagon on 9/11 managed to hit and destroy the offices housing the documents and experts who were searching for where the money had gone, thus bringing the investigation to an end.
In the final chapter Roelofs asks “what can be done?” Her suggestions lack effectiveness. Her book was written prior to the creation of the Department of Government Efficiency. My suggestion is for someone who can to get the book into DOGE hands. The Trillion Dollar Silencer traces the money flows through so many hands and places that it will save the DOGE staff much work and leave them astonished by the many non-defense uses of defense funds.
It takes character and determination to correct a bad situation. America’s predicament is that corruption is so pervasive that challenging it results in career destruction. People have mortgages, car payments, kids in school. Taking exception to corruption is a road to poverty. Perhaps Trump and Musk will be able to do something, or perhaps the Democrat judges will save the day for institutionalized grift.

“The Deep State Has Used the NY Times to Announce Its Withdrawal from Washington’s Conflict with Russia”
https://www.globalresearch.ca/deep-state-ny-times-withdrawal-conflict-russia/5883088
by Dr. Paul Craig Roberts
Last Saturday the New York Times completely abandoned the official narrative of the Ukraine Conflict, thus overturning the apple cart full of lies. Jeff Childers gives us the gist of the New York Times abandonment of the ruling lie.
Here is an excerpt from the NYT article:
With remarkable transparency, the Pentagon has offered a public inventory of the $66.5 billion array of weaponry supplied to Ukraine — including, at last count, more than a half-billion rounds of small-arms ammunition and grenades, 10,000 Javelin antiarmor weapons, 3,000 Stinger antiaircraft systems, 272 howitzers, 76 tanks, 40 High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems, 20 Mi-17 helicopters and three Patriot air defense batteries.
But a New York Times investigation reveals that America was woven into the war far more intimately and broadly than previously understood. At critical moments, the partnership was the backbone of Ukrainian military operations that, by U.S. counts, have killed or wounded more than 700,000 Russian soldiers. (Ukraine has put its casualty toll at 435,000.) Side by side in Wiesbaden’s mission command center, American and Ukrainian officers planned Kyiv’s counteroffensives. A vast American intelligence-collection effort both guided big-picture battle strategy and funneled precise targeting information down to Ukrainian soldiers in the field.
One European intelligence chief recalled being taken aback to learn how deeply enmeshed his N.A.T.O. counterparts had become in Ukrainian operations. “They are part of the kill chain now,” he said.
The partnership’s guiding idea was that this close cooperation might allow the Ukrainians to accomplish the unlikeliest of feats — to deliver the invading Russians a crushing blow. And in strike after successful strike in the first chapters of the war — enabled by Ukrainian bravery and dexterity but also Russian incompetence — that underdog ambition increasingly seemed within reach.
READ MORE: The Ever Widening War. Putin’s Inaction Continues to Widen the Conflict
—By Adam Entous, The New York Times
What is the explanation? My guess is that the Deep State has decided to abandon the conflict and is most likely the author of the Times’ article. The purpose of the article is to set up Zelensky as the scapegoat who caused the war to be lost and to get rid of him so that the conflict can be brought to an end.
These paragraphs show the purpose:
It was going according to plan, the Times sadly said, “until it wasn’t.” The problem wasn’t the Russians, the Americans, or even the slowly draining numbers of trained Ukrainian military forces. No, the problem was one spotlight-hogging Vladimir Zelenskyy. With two y’s, for you’ve got to be kidding me, squared.
“Zelensky was hoping to attend the United Nations General Assembly,” the Times reported. “A showing of progress on the battlefield would bolster his case for additional military support. So the Ukrainians upended the plan at the last minute — a preview of a fundamental disconnect that would increasingly shape the arc of the war.”
Childers’ translation: Zelensky started making his own decisions —ones not approved by the Americans— and the war began unraveling.
A few of us have known from day one that the Ukraine conflict was Washington’s war run out of Wiesbaden. The questions are: Why didn’t Putin know, and if he did know why didn’t he do anything?
Now that the New York Times has admitted that the conflict in Ukraine was America’s war with Russia disguised as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, a war that, as I have often said, Trump has no stake in, Trump can end the conflict by ceasing to participate. There is no reason for bureaucrats and emissaries to hold endless negotiations. Trump simply declares the war is over.
Let’s hope Trump and Putin have the wits to see this.

“The Shifting Sands: Putin’s Calculated Play and Trump’s Illusions”

https://www.globalresearch.ca/putin-calculated-play-trump-illusions/5883093
by Prof. Ruel F. Pepa
The narrative surrounding geopolitical power dynamics, particularly concerning the relationship between the United States, Russia, and the European Union, is undergoing a dramatic shift. What once appeared to be a stage set for a Trumpian masterstroke is now revealing itself as a carefully orchestrated game plan of President Vladimir Putin. The perception that Donald Trump held the “aces” has dissolved, replaced by the stark realization that Putin has been the one holding the “trump card,” dictating the terms and setting the trajectory of global politics.
At the core of this argument lies the assertion that Trump’s strategic maneuvers, initially perceived as bold and decisive, have been fundamentally miscalculated. His plans, it is argued, is a far cry from a pre-existing, meticulously crafted path laid out by Putin. This deviation, instead of yielding the anticipated dominance, is leading towards a “disastrous ending,” a consequence of misreading the true power dynamics at play. Instead of consolidating his grip on global influence, Trump’s policies and actions have inadvertently played into Putin’s hands, furthering the latter’s geopolitical agenda.
Putin’s Strategy: A Masterstroke of Geopolitical Gamesmanship
Putin’s strategy is often perceived as a calculated “two birds with one stone” approach, a sophisticated and deliberate maneuver that allows him to take advantage of the perceived vulnerabilities of both the European Union and the United States. The European Union is metaphorically described as a “panicky EU bird flying on the clouds of delusion,” symbolizing its internal discord and susceptibility to external pressures. Meanwhile, the United States is characterized as a “magpie” clinging to the illusion of being an “eagle,” signifying its diminishing global dominance and miscalculations in foreign policy. This metaphor underscores the notion that both entities are operating under false pretenses, failing to recognize the full extent of Putin’s strategic foresight and geopolitical influence.
Exploiting EU Divisions: A Calculated Strategy
One of Putin’s most effective tactical moves has been his ability to capitalize on the divisions within the European Union. The EU, often mired in internal disagreements over economic policies, security strategies, and political ideologies, presents a fragmented front that is vulnerable to external manipulation. Nationalist movements within various member states have further weakened collective decision-making, creating an environment ripe for Russian influence.
Putin has systematically eroded the EU’s capacity to present a unified response to Russian power play. The reliance of many European nations on Russian gas has been a particularly effective tool in Putin’s arsenal. By controlling energy supplies and strategically manipulating their flow, Russia has been able to exert significant political leverage over EU member states. The energy crises that have emerged in the wake of these tactics have highlighted the EU’s dependency on Russian resources, exposing a critical vulnerability that Moscow has deftly exploited. Supply cuts, price hikes, and politically motivated disruptions have served as potent weapons, compelling European leaders to navigate a delicate balance between energy security and geopolitical confrontation.
The U.S.: An Uncertain Foreign Policy Giving Russia Free Rein
While the European Union grapples with internal fragmentation, the United States has also played into Putin’s hands through its unpredictable foreign policy decisions. Under the leadership of Donald Trump, the U.S. oscillated between isolationism and aggressive rhetoric, undermining its traditional alliances and inadvertently facilitating Russia’s geopolitical trajectory.
Trump’s diplomatic unpredictability often resulsd in strategic miscalculations that plays to Putin’s advantage. His open admiration for strong leadership undermines the credibility of U.S.’s global agenda. The mixed signals emanating from Washington—ranging from imposing sanctions on Russia to simultaneously engaging in overtures of friendship with Moscow—creates an atmosphere of ambiguity that allows Putin to maneuver with greater ease on the global stage.
As a result, Russia has been able to expand its geopolitical footprint in key regions such as the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Africa. In Syria, despite Assad getting toppled, Russia still maintains its military presence and continuesto bolster its influence in the region. In Eastern Europe, the ongoing special military operation in Ukraine and its strong posturing toward other neighboring states has demonstrated Russia’s position that it will never capitulate to pressure used by western powers using these eastern European countries. In Africa, Moscow has leveraged economic and military partnerships to establish a stronger foothold, further challenging U.S. and European influence on the continent.

“When the Derivative Bubble Pops: ‘The Great Taking’”
https://www.globalresearch.ca/when-the-derivative-bubble-pops-the-great-taking/5882967
by David Rogers Webb and Melissa Tuggle
The Great Taking, a book by David Rogers Webb.
The book is about the taking of collateral (all of it), the end game of the current globally synchronous debt accumulation super cycle. This scheme is being executed by long planned, intelligent design, the audacity and scope of which is difficult for the mind to encompass.
Included are all financial assets and bank deposits, all stocks and bonds; and hence all underlying property of all public corporations, including all inventories, plant equipment; land, mineral deposits, inventions and intellectual property.
Privately owned personal and real property financed with any amount of debt will likewise be taken, as will the assets of privately owned businesses which have been financed with debt. If even partially successful, this will be the greatest conquest and subjugation in world history.
Excerpts from the Book
In chapter 3, the author notes that ‘The greatest subjugation in world history will have been made possible by the invention of a construct; a subterfuge; a lie: the “Security Entitlement.’ Since their beginning more than four centuries ago, tradable financial instruments were recognized under law everywhere as personal property… It may come as a shock to you that this is no longer the case.’
‘You are led to believe that you own something, but someone else secretly controls it as collateral. And they have now established legal certainty that they have absolute power to take it immediately in the event of insolvency, and not your insolvency, but insolvency of the people who secretly gave them your property as collateral. It does not seem possible. But this is exactly what has been done with all tradable financial instruments, globally! The proof of this is absolutely irrefutable. This is wired to go now.’
‘Essentially all securities “owned” by the public in custodial accounts, pension plans and investment funds are now encumbered as collateral underpinning the derivatives complex, which is so large – an order of magnitude greater than the entire global economy – that there is not enough of anything in the world to back it. The illusion of collateral backing is facilitated by a daisy chain of hypothecation and rehypothecation in which the same underlying client collateral is reused many times over by a series of secured creditors. And so it is these creditors, who understand the system, who have demanded even more access to client assets as collateral.’
‘It is now assured that in the implosion of “The Everything Bubble”, collateral will be swept up on a vast scale. The plumbing to do this is in place. Legal certainty has been established that the collateral can be taken immediately and without judicial review, by entities described in court documents as “the protected class.” Even sophisticated professional investors, who are sure that their securities are “segregated”, will not be protected.’
‘An enormous amount of sophisticated planning and implementation was sustained over decades with the purpose of subverting property rights in just this way. It began in the United States by amending the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) in all 50 states. While this required many years of effort, it could be done quietly, without an act of Congress.
These are the key facts:
Ownership of securities as property has been replaced with a new legal concept of a ‘security entitlement’, which is a contractual claim assuring a very weak position if the account provider becomes insolvent.
All securities are held in unsegregated pooled form. Securities used as collateral, and those restricted from such use, are held in the same pool.
All account holders, including those who have prohibited use of their securities as collateral, must, by law, receive only a pro-rata share of residual assets.
“Re-vindication”, i.e. the taking back of one’s own securities in the event of insolvency, is absolutely prohibited.
Account providers may legally borrow pooled securities to collateralize proprietary trading and financing.
“Safe harbor assures secured creditors priority claim to pooled securities ahead of account holders.”
The absolute priority claim of secured creditors to pooled client securities has been upheld by the courts.
‘… the objective is to utilize all securities as collateral.’
‘The documentation is absolutely irrefutable.’
‘In March of 2006, the Deputy General Counsel for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York provided a detailed response to questionnaire prepared by the Legal Certainty Group, which was looking to the Fed to tell them exactly how to do it.’
The following are excerpts from that response which is also included in full in this book’s appendix:
Q (E.U.): in respect of what legal system are the following answers given?
A (NY Fed): This response confines itself to U.S. commercial law, primarily article 8… and parts of article 9, of the Uniform Commercial Code (“UCC”)
… The subject matter of Article 8 is “Investment Securities and the subject of Article 9 is “Secured Transactions.” Article 8 and Article 9 have been adopted throughout the United States.
The Q&A goes on to establish that the investor does not have rights attaching to particular securities in the pool, that an investor is always vulnerable to a securities intermediary’s solvency: “if the securities intermediary is a clearing corporation, the claims of its creditors have priority over the claims of entitlement holders.” . . . .

“Syria’s Genocide, Claiming Over 10,000 Lives, Is Not a Sectarian Conflict But a Deliberate Western Strategy to Dominate the Entire Region”

by Fiorella Isabel
Framed as sectarian war, the Syrian genocide and assaults on Gaza and Yemen are part of a long-standing UK-U.S.-Israeli-Western strategy to dominate the region via the erasure of the Axis of Resistance.
Syria’s massacres can be defined by nothing less than genocide, having exceeded the slaughter of more than 10,000 dead souls.
The killings have been showcased on videos of the endless public, mass executions of children, women, civilians and entire families.
The world has been willing to watch yet another genocide unfold with most of the international media and the international community silent, excusing or down-playing the terrorist ethnic cleansing of Syrians by Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS).
As Israel once again strikes Gaza, killing more than 400 people in the first day of the war’s renewal, and with the full backing of the Trump administration which is also bombing Yemen, people need to understand that these events are not singular but rather a collaborative effort by the Zionist-U.S. empire and its NATO partners to annihilate the region of its indigenous inhabitants, fulfill a Greater Israel and steal all the natural resources.
Most recently HTS militants illegally crossed from Syria into Lebanon and were confronted and killed by local forces. HTS responded by launching some 50 rockets into northern Lebanon’s villages full of families.
Israel simultaneously launched attacks in southern Lebanon, violating the cease-fire yet again, with the combined attacks killing dozens of people. In conjunction with Mohammad al-Jolani’s militants attacking the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon, Israeli air strikes have targeted the same valley in support of Nusra front terrorists.
The Lebanese army was deployed to investigate, prompting locals to launch rockets at the terrorist HTS factions. In Bekaa, both tribes and the army have confronted these terrorists. Additionally, Lebanese tribes along the Lebanese-Syrian border are now using drones to monitor HTS movements in response to ongoing attacks on their villages.
Bottom of Form
As these events unfold, some may feel embarrassed for having so quickly and eagerly normalized relations with the rebranded Western-Zionist intelligence puppet al-Jolani and his group of violent extremists. Others like those in the Gulf-funded Al Jazeera, who have been lying about Syria for the last 15 years, simply cannot turn back now and thus continue their lies, shifting blame to Assad and his supporters.
However, for anyone paying even a little attention, it is clear that this outcome was inevitable once the U.S.-backed Israeli-Turkish-Gulf plan to oust Assad and replace him with these al-Qaeda factions unfolded and Damascus fell.
It has now been clearly demonstrated that Assad’s government, often labeled as a violent and authoritarian regime, was in fact the safeguard against this very outcome. It prevented the current collapse of the former modern, free, secular Syria where diverse faiths co-existed harmoniously and residents identified simply as Syrian.
On March 6, pro-Resistance groups launched a rebellion against the oppressive terrorist regime that seized control of Syria two months prior, ambushing HTS military personnel in Latakia and nearby areas, resulting in the deaths of at least 16 security forces.
On the same day, radical Takfiri[1] government troops began deploying to coastal cities—Latakia, Baniyas, Tartus, and Jableh—to confront what they labeled as “regime remnants,” or pro-Assad Resistance fighters. This ultimately led to mass executions and atrocities committed against every Syrian civilian who came into contact with these Wahhabi terrorist factions.
Most mainstream and international media, which tend to favor Israel and the West, have at best dismissed the numerous instances of harassment, assassinations, and executions of civilians in Syria as merely a “sectarian war”—implying it is driven by ethnic or religious motives. At worst, they engage in significant gaslighting by placing blame on the former Assad government and its remaining supporters.
The problem is not only that Alawites have been slaughtered, but also that Shia, Sunni, Christian, and even Mennonites as well as other ethnic minorities have been targeted. Christian relics have fallen prey to destruction. Even those who hated the Assad government have been speaking out against the atrocities targeting every single person, child or baby HTS encounters, while the mass media continue to talk about this as an “Islamic problem.”
Sheikh Abdul Rahman al-Dala, head of the Center for Research and Studies on Islamic Unity in Syria, was assassinated by the terrorist HTS forces for condemning the ethnic cleansing of Syria’s Alawites.

Speaking to former UN staffer and journalist, Mark Seddon, Dr Ashrawi, weighs in on the West's role in this campaign of extermination and focuses in particular on the role being played by Keir Starmer's Labour Government, saying,
“Exactly I think accountability should be applied across the board; it is not just Israel that is carrying out a genocide, those governments that are continuing to supply it with weapons and continuing to allow it to use its bases, like the British base in Cyprus, those governments that are supplying it with intelligence like the British government. So these people are definitely complicit in the genocide itself, and they cannot escape it. Sooner or later they will have to be held to account. There will be consequences, they cannot continue with this disguising reality and attempting to circumvent what is happening and so on. This complicity now is very clear. And they have to understand, that they will be considered part of a genocide that took place. And right now they might be able to intimidate, maybe, the ICC or the ICJ but I think at one point they will see themselves also held accountable before these international courts”
She also has words of warning for the leaders of the Arab World, who continue to fail the Palestinian people in this their hour of desperate need.

“Timeline to COVID Tyranny – The Year 2019 and the Coming Storm”

https://www.globalresearch.ca/timeline-covid-tyranny-year-2019-coming-storm/5883286
by Michael Bryant
Introduction
Appreciating the full impact of the covid “shock and awe” campaign requires an understanding of not only the extensive planning that went into constructing the massive pandemic machine but also an awareness of how today’s healthcare management systems are being exploited to funnel trillions of dollars into the coffers of the world’s banker barons, pharmaceutical industry, and global ruling elites.
We should not underestimate the windfall that has accrued to financial institutions (publicly traded and private banks, brokerage houses, investment firms, wealthy individuals, and family dynasties) from the healthcare sector of the securities markets. In the US alone, national health expenditures (NHE) — that is, total spending on healthcare and related activities — constitute the largest sector of the US economy. Last year, NHE was more than $5 trillion, or 17.7% of the US gross domestic product (GDP). By 2032, NHE are projected to rise to $7.7 trillion, or 19.7% of GDP.
In other words, “disease” has replaced war as the primary money-spinner of the US — and the globe. The titans who control the nation’s politicians and the economy’s purse strings, including the details and direction of monetary and fiscal policy, need to create lengthy, large-scale health crises in order to keep their drowning-in-red-ink financial systems afloat. Manufactured pandemics have become mammoth investment opportunities that increase the wealth of these billionaires and further consolidate their power.
The covid phenomenon itself cannot be fully comprehended without understanding the behind-the-scenes, un-televised, unprecedented economic collapse of 2019–2020 that threatened the entire global financial system.
In the words of David A. Hughes, author of COVID-19 — Psychological Operations and the War for Technocracy, “This was not to be just any recession, however. This was, potentially, to be a system-destroying recession.”
In September 2019, world markets were faced with an emergency debt crisis that popped up in formerly (mostly) liquid markets — namely, money markets, repurchase agreement (repo) markets, and foreign exchange (FX) markets. A crisis in the US repo market saw the secured overnight lending rate briefly hit 10% (versus its prior 2019 rate of 2%–3%), prompting the Federal Reserve to step in and begin dumping hundreds of billions of dollars a week into Wall Street’s trading firms. That repo loan operation, effectively a Wall Street bailout program, started September 17 and over the next six months came to more than $9 trillion in cumulative loans made at super-cheap borrowing rates.
The United States Does Not Have an Economy
John Titus, a lawyer by training who, ever since the pandemic, has been applying his forensic skills to rooting out banking fraud, suggests that the Federal Reserve loan activity led to the decision to put BlackRock’s “Dealing with the next downturn” plan into action. Curiously, that white paper, whose central tenet is the “going direct” plan, was written by four BlackRock investment officers even before the World Health Organization (WHO) had declared the pandemic in March 2020.
All of this suggests that the covid crisis was timed to coincide with the emergency debt crisis the world markets were facing. It looks like Western governments, at the beck and call of the big banks, instigated an operation to stem the cataclysmic economic landslide, bail out large investors, and proactively install a security infrastructure to control the inevitable social disorder that would result from this global catastrophe.
Put another way, without an external threat like a “killer virus,” without the Covid-19 smokescreen, this massive financial collapse and historic wealth transfer would be seen for what it was: colossal theft by the ruling aristocracy of financial fraudsters.
As I wrote in my January 2, 2023, article for Off-Guardian,
“That’s the coup: global hyperinflation to vaporize the assets of the masses and the states in order to hand over public assets to private investors. This allows the ruling class to mop up properties (bankrupted small businesses, foreclosed homes, etc.) in order to stake limitless claims on everything in the world.”
And, as John Titus wrote in his Summary — Going Direct Reset:
“In a nutshell, the arrival of the 2020 pandemic was about as accidental as an assassination. The pandemic narrative is nothing but a cover story to conceal from the public what in reality is the biggest asset transfer ever.”

“Germany in Crisis Part 1 —The Lost Man of Europe”
https://scheerpost.com/2025/04/06/patrick-lawrence-germany-in-crisis-part-1-the-lost-man-of-europe/
by Patrick Lawrence
This is the first of four reports on the crises that now beset Germany — what they are, the history that produced them, and how Germans think about finding their way forward once again.
I thank Eva–Maria Föllmer–Müller and Karl–Jürgen Müller of Bazenheid, Switzerland, for their unsparing assistance as I reported and wrote this series.
Of the many things said — insightful things, wise things, some foolish things — as the results of Germany’s national elections arrived on Sunday evening, Feb. 23, the most remarkable to me was the exclamation of the Federal Republic’s new chancellor-to-be: “We have won it,” Friedrich Merz declared before his supporters in Berlin as the exit polls, which proved accurate, gave the conservative Christian Democratic Union the largest share of the vote.
Merz is one of those political figures given to speaking before he thinks, and nobody seems to have taken this outburst as anything more than the election-night utterance of an exuberant victor. I heard it differently. To me, Merz’s four words betrayed a nation in crisis: its politics and economy in disarray, its visionless leadership, its pervasive malaise, the deepening fractures among Germany’s 83 million people — Germany’s inability, let’s say, to talk to itself or understand, even, what it means to say, “We have won it.”
The low-minded Merz’s “we” means the CDU, which he leads, and its longtime partner, the Christian Social Union. But how narrow a notion of winning is this for someone who purports to be not merely a national leader but a leader of Europe? The CDU/CSU won not quite 29% of the vote, just enough to form a new governing coalition. That leaves 71% of German voters who didn’t win anything.
The next chancellor’s “we,” to go straight to the larger significance of the German elections, should alarm all of us across the West, not only in Germany, given where Merz and his coalition partners intend to lead the Federal Republic. They have made their radical intent clear even before Merz formally assumes office. It is to dismantle the most advanced social democracy in Europe in favor of a swift, radical rearmament — shocking all by itself given Germany’s history — and a return to the Cold War’s ever-perilous hostilities. The speed of this turn appears to be taking everyone by surprise: On Monday, April 1, the Bundeswehr began stationing an armored brigade in Lithuania, the first long-term deployment of German troops abroad since World War II.
History, which I invoke throughout this series, haunts this transformative moment like a ghost. Many are they who saw in the postwar republic a promise that the trans–Atlantic world could take a new direction, that the West might cultivate — I’ll go to shorthand here — a more humanist, or humanized, form of democracy. In the 1960s, Ludwig Erhard, economics minister under Konrad Adenauer, fashioned the soziale Marktwirtschaft, the social market economy, a model considerably at variance with the free-market fundamentalism the United States was by then imposing upon the world. It made unions powerful and gave workers seats on corporate boards, among much else, and in so doing prompted the thought that Europe’s social-democratic tradition might at last tame capitalism’s excesses.
In the late 1960s, Willy Brandt, the Social Democratic foreign minister and subsequently chancellor, developed his long-celebrated Ostpolitik, a policy that opened the Federal Republic to its East Bloc neighbors and the Soviet Union. This was a rejection not only of Washington’s Cold War binary; more than this, it was a decisive reply to the anti–Russian animus that has scarred German history for a century.
To know this history now is to recognize the February elections as a defeat of considerable magnitude that extends, again, well beyond what was so recently Europe’s most powerful nation. Friedrich Merz and his coalition partners — who will include a Social Democratic Party that has cravenly repudiated the very tradition it once championed — has abandoned more, much more than the Federal Republic’s past. Anyone who entertained hope that the Continent might serve as a guide to a more orderly world is in some way bereft now, left with one less reason to hope the wandering West will find its way beyond the cycle of decline into which it has fallen.
Merz is a man of contradictions, which admittedly does not distinguish him among centrist politicians in Germany or anywhere else in the West. He will be distinguished now as the German people’s hopelessly contradictory leader. His most pressing domestic responsibility is to revive an economy the coalition of neoliberals led by his hapless predecessor, Olaf Scholz, has driven very nearly into the ground. Take your seats as this disaster in the making unfolds.
Merz is a virulent Russophobe — he is as vigorous in this as any postwar political figure, I am told — and he is strongly committed to escalating Germany’s support for the war in Ukraine. But bringing the German economy back to life simply cannot be done unless Germany determines to restore its dense, altogether natural interdependence with Russia, notably but not only on the energy side. The resort to building a trillion-euro war machine is a beyond-words act of political desperation: The extent to which it succeeds as economic stimulus will be the extent to which it destroys German social democracy while — not to be missed — burdening the government with enormous debt. As to the folly of the U.S.–inspired proxy war in Ukraine, each commitment the new government makes to continued support of the corrupt, Nazified regime in Kiev — financial support, military support, political support, diplomatic support — will alienate a greater proportion of the German citizenry.
Germany’s predicament is the West’s, cast merely in higher relief: It must change, it must find a new direction — its voters demand these things — but Germany as its leadership is currently constituted cannot change. Germany is arguably singular among the Western powers in that treading water — the ceaseless see-saw of the centrists, if I may mix metaphors — is no longer a workable dodge. The nation simply does not have time for that if it is to avoid an ever-increasing rate of decline.
A remarkable number of German voters switched in February from one party to another — voter migration, this phenomenon is called — in what looks to the naked eye like a perverse game of hopscotch. Most of the voters who abandoned the Social Democrats — and there were very many, as a collapse in the SPD’s support indicates — went to either the CDU/ CSU (the latter rooted in conservative and Catholic Bavaria) or — believe it or not — to the Alternativ für Deutschland, the populist, right-wing nemesis of the long-reigning Social Democrats.
It gets yet more odd, according to an analysis cited by an election-night commentator named Florian Rötzer. “Many from the CDU/CSU did indeed switch to the AfD,” Rötzer remarked as the results tallied, “but strangely enough also to The Left [Die Linke] and the BSW [the left-populist Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht]. The Left gained massively, but former [Die Linke] voters switched to the AfD to a lesser extent and to the BSW to a greater extent.” As to Die Grünen, the now-ridiculous Greens — along with the Social Democrats the big losers Feb. 23 — they surrendered voters to Die Linke, a predictable-enough move, but also to the AfD.
I do not see that this impossible-to-read pattern can be marked down as anything other than a shared desperation. And now look. The coalition Merz is about to form with the Social Democrats betrays what appears to be a preposterous indifference to what German voters have just spoken. But in my read, it is better understood as a measure of fear among Germany’s governing elites. The SPD fell to third place in the German political constellation, with 30 fewer seats in the Bundestag than the AfD. But the latter, now Germany’s No. 2 party, will be blocked from the government by means of the antidemocratic “firewall” Germany’s neoliberal centrists show no sign of removing.
In net terms: The government that collapsed last autumn, a nominally left-of-center coalition of neoliberal parties led by Social Democrats, will now be succeeded by a coalition of neoliberal parties led by the right-of-center Christian Democrats almost certain to include the Social Democrats. This will be a straight reproduction of the hugely unpopular alliance that governed until 2021. The European version of Tweedle–Dee and Tweedle–Dum has never looked neater.

“A New Paradigm for Healing — Shifting Focus to Cellular Health”
https://www.globalresearch.ca/new-paradigm-healing-cellular-health/5883040
by Dr. Joseph Mercola
Cellular health is the driving foundation of overall wellness. It plays an essential role in biological functions, including immune response and disease prevention
Modern medicine focuses on symptom management rather than addressing cellular dysfunction. This leads to temporary fixes that fail to resolve the foundational cause
The supplement industry has been compromised by profit-driven motives. Consumers are at risk of buying low-quality products that often lack efficacy and fail to support genuine cellular health
Effective health products must prioritize high-quality, clean ingredients, advanced delivery systems and complete transparency about sourcing and manufacturing processes
A paradigm shift is needed in health care, where the focus moves from symptom suppression to supporting the body’s intrinsic healing capabilities through energy-centered medicine
Your cells are the building blocks of your body, and their health determines how well your entire system functions. At the heart of cellular health are the mitochondria — tiny structures within each cell that act as power plants, driving everything from repair and regeneration to immune function and overall vitality.
Healthy cells are essential to keep you energized, focused and free from chronic disease. When they falter, your entire body is impacted, and modern medicine often overlooks this vital connection. Instead, it focuses on symptom relief without addressing the underlying cellular dysfunction. It’s like fixing a broken windshield or replacing tires on a car that simply needs gas in the tank.
By focusing on your cellular health, you’ll be able to address the root causes of diseases instead of just the symptoms. Supporting your cells’ energy production empowers your body to heal, maintain resilience and stay free from chronic disease. This foundational, energy-centered approach will radically transform how we understand health and treat disease.

“The Existing Evidence Base For Chlorine Dioxide In Treating Human Diseases”

by Pierre Kory, MD, MPA
I am interrupting my series on the persecutions of pioneers of oxidative therapies to present a comprehensive compilation of the currently published and censored evidence for chlorine dioxide.
TABLE OF CONTENTS:
· Barriers To Doing Clinical Research Trials With Chlorine Dioxide
· What Is The Difference Between Chlorite And Chlorine Dioxide?
· Evidence For The Efficacy Of Intravenous Chlorite Solutions
· Evidence For Chlorine Dioxide As A Broad Anti-Microbial
· Evidence For Chlorine Dioxide Against Viral Infections:In-Vivo Studies
· Evidence For Topical Chlorine Dioxide In Skin, Wound, And Mucosal Infections
· Evidence For Orally Ingested Chlorine Dioxide In Human Illnesses
· Malaria
· Viral Respiratory Infections In Children
· Covid-19
· Cancer
· Testimonial Evidence For Orally Ingested Chlorine Dioxide
BARRIERS TO RESEARCH:
I am again pointing out that my intent with these posts is to open up research into chlorine dioxide rather than recommend or promote its use at this time. To the best of my knowledge of the existing literature, this is the first review that compiled all of the peer-reviewed and published trials and studies which used chlorine dioxide in treatment, and at the end, I also review the retracted and/or censored studies that have been done to date.
Currently, it is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to rigorously assess the efficacy of widely available, orally ingestable forms of chlorine dioxide in our modern scientific climate. However, no restrictions have been placed on doing studies of its equivalent, chlorite, which has patented formulations which have been studied within numerous double-blind RCT’s as you will see below).
This uncomfortable fact is due to the globally coordinated barriers to both performing and publishing research of its efficacy in treating human diseases. I believe that in my last two posts of a historical account by a retired translational scientist that had high level security clearances in the latter half of the 20th century (here and here), the reasons for that should now be obvious.
If you didn’t read those posts, I will spell it out for you, again. The barriers are due to chlorine dioxide’s threat to the massive markets of modern pharmaceutical products.
To wit, when the topic of oral ingestion of chlorine dioxide is addressed, numerous copycat bulletins are posted by regulatory agencies such as the FDA, TGA, , PAHO/WHO, SWISSMEDIC and other health authorities that advise against its use by falsely alleging that it is toxic and/or dangerous to ingest, describing it as "bleach," "bleach-like," or a "poison." See examples of the coordinated fear-mongering: . . . .

by The Jimmy Dore Show
(12:42)
New information has emerged that the COVID vaccine Pfizer distributed was not produced using the same process as the vaccine that was tested prior to gaining approval for distribution. Retired nurse instructor and popular YouTuber Dr. John Campbell speaks with sociologist Josh Guetzkow about the ramifications of this possible clinical trial a bait-and-switch.
Jimmy and guest Craig Jardula discuss the unwillingness of so many to face the increasingly obvious con job nearly every aspect of the COVID pandemic represented.

Dr. Scott Gottlieb is a poster child for the revolving door between government and industry, having served as head of the FDA under Trump before taking a high-paying gig on the board of Pfizer. Asked recently during a segment on CNN whether the COVID vaccine might be responsible for the dramatic spike in cancers in the past few years, Gottlieb predictably hemmed and hawed and sought to deflect blame away from vaccines.

The American corporate coup d'état is almost complete as the first weeks of the Trump administration exemplify. If there has been one person who saw this coming, and has taken courageous action over the years to prevent it, it would be Ralph Nader. The former presidential candidate, consumer advocate and corporate critic joins host Chris Hedges on this episode of The Chris Hedges Report to chronicle his life’s work battling the corporate takeover of the country and how Americans can still fight back today despite the growing repression from the White House.

My readers have weighed in with further protocols for those who will not undergo the torture of "traditional" cancer treatment
(This is Part-2; for Part-1, go here)
This post includes a number of other cancer protocols, all recommended by my readers. Clearly I can’t vouch for them myself; but since some or all of them may be more effective than the costly tortures practiced at Sloan-Kettering, and recommended by the American Cancer Society, and yet—or, rather, therefore— “our free press” won’t ever mention them, except perhaps to sneer at them as “quackery”; and so I feel obliged to note them here, in hopes that one or more of them may help some of the growing global multitude afflicted with post- “vaccination” turbo-cancers.
Let me add that I’m not one of those who spurn all allopathic treatments, and trust “alternative” therapies to do the trick eventually. I am not one of those because I’ve spent probably $1 million over the last 14 years, seeing one practitioner after another—some hardcore allopathic doctors, some “alternative” mystics, and some more eclectic types—in battling my own chronic illness, which I now call “Lyme +,” as it includes mold exposure and some heavy metals. While some of them did help me feel better for a week or so, none of them succeeded, or were worth a fraction of their fees and supplements. I’m pleased to say that I have finally found some excellent doctors (an eclectic team), and so must simply wait this out by following their guidance, since, when you’re fighting Lyme, you must feel worse before you start improving.
In any case, I’m offer here the following leads, to help humanity survive the worldwide pathocracy (i.e., rule by psychopaths) whose rule has killed off countless people, and made countless others hideously sick.

“Boosters Are Backfiring, Greater Impetus to End COVID-19 Vaccination”

https://www.globalresearch.ca/boosters-backfiring-end-covid-19-vaccination/5883109
by Dr. Peter McCullough
The pandemic years seem to drag on for the heavily boosted. Dr. McCullough appeared on Real America’s Voice, Just the News hosted by John Solomon and Amanda Head. Instead of preventing infection, boosters appear to invite more recurrent episodes of SARS-CoV-2 as a result of vaccine acquired immunodeficiency syndrome known as VAIDS. A principle feature of VAIDS is immune system fatigue with regular boosters and continued loading of mRNA and Spike protein into the body. Both molecules are difficult to clear with endogenous system (ribonucleases and proteolytic enzymes).
To make matters worse, boosters promote IgG subclass switching to IgG4. Uversky et al have reported that excessive or persistent IgG4 subclass switching, especially in response to repeated vaccination, might lead to immune tolerance to the antigen, potentially promoting infection and replication by suppressing natural antiviral responses, and potentially increasing the risk of myocarditis, autoimmune diseases, and cancer growth.

“How To Signal Virtue”
by James Corbett
I know what you're thinking right now: "What shopping bags should I use?"
And I know why you're thinking it: because you just read that exact question in The New York Times:
And I know why you're reading The New York Times: because you're an up-and-coming would-be member of the coastal liberal establishment and you want to signal to other members of that tribe that you're on their team.
And I know the mental pretzel knots you're twisting yourself into trying to answer that NYT question. Paper bags used to be better than plastic because they're biodegradable, right? But now they're . . . not? Because of how they're manufactured? Or something?
And I know why this question of paper or plastic bag is bothering you so much: not because you're concerned about the environment but because you know your fellow coastal hipster trendies will judge you for your choice. You know there's a right answer here, but you don't know what it is! AARGH!
Yes, as it turns out, virtue signaling is complicated. But never fear! This week I'm here to provide you with the complete guide to virtue signaling for your tribe of choice, whether you're a Bernie-cheering, woke progressive activist or a hopium-swilling, Trump-voting MAGA cap-wearer. With this guide in your hand, you'll never have to worry about accidentally signaling that you're on the other political team ever again!
And wait, there's more! This guide has been UPDATED! with all the latest information for 2025 because, as you know, the last several years have seen some pretty wild twists and turns in the standard left/right narrative.
And I know what you're thinking now: "I'd better subscribe to The Corbett Report so I can find out how to properly signal my (political) gang affiliations!"
Indeed!

In the wake of RFK Jr.’s clear statement supporting the use of the MMR vaccine to prevent measles, (an illness that doubles as a media PSY OP weapon) there is agony throughout the ‘movement’ and the word “Hindenburg” came to me, regarding MAHA. It was as if somebody said, “pull it,” (like Building 7,) and down it went.
