Dear Colleagues and Friends of CEIMSA,
Below, please find 26+ items which represent a selection of critical essays and articles taken from Anglophone social media, and exposing the deceits, the delusions, the collusions, and the deliberate distortions in official discourse that seek to obscure the conflicting social class interests in the United States and beyond. We should not be distracted by the grotesque images and wanton violence in some of these discussions, but rather look for their origins and the consequence that such chaos engenders. Class conflicts, the likes of which we are now witnessing, are not novel; they constitute a historic norm, often called by another name.
In all periods of history, we find the same traces of illegitimate social hierarchy, political mystification, and bad faith, all of which serve to conceal the wide-spread exploitation and suffering produced by growing inequalities that are necessarily accompanied by obscene collusion between self-appointed “leaders” of social classes at war: “2 + 2 = 5!”

– Donald Trump, January 2026, In response to a question regarding checks that remained on how he exercised power on the world stage.
Sixty-three years ago, Hannah Arendt coined the concept of the “banality of evil,” describing Holocaust organizer Adolf Eichmann as disturbingly normal rather than a monstrous fanatic. Arendt didn’t mean that Eichmann was not evil, but that he was a small and ordinary man with an “inability to think for himself.” She found a “depthless ordinariness” in Eichmann at his trial in Jerusalem, which accounted for the provocative term of “banality.”
Today, we are watching Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu conduct a war that is evil. There is no banality to be observed. They are not ordinary people. They are evil.
Netanyahu’s rhetoric over the years has been Islamophobic. Prior to a trip to Germany in 2015, he charged a former Muslim elder in Jerusalem with convincing Adolf Hitler to exterminate the Jews. Netanyahu said that, at the time, Hitler wanted to “expel the Jews,” but not exterminate them. He appeared to be absolving Hitler of the murder of six million Jews in order to lay the blame on Muslims.
Trump’s relationship with Muslims has also been a defining and controversial aspect of his political career. Shortly after taking office in 2017, Trump signed an executive order banning citizens from several predominantly Muslim countries from entering the United States. The so-called “Muslim ban” caused massive disruptions that separated families and halted visa processing of thousands of people. Previously, he promoted false claims about Muslims celebrating the attacks on 9/11. There have been surges in hate crimes and discrimination against Muslims in both terms of Trump’s presidency.
Prior to the two attacks on Iran this year, the Israelis and the Americans combined to conduct genocidal attacks on two million Palestinians in Gaza. With U.S. complicity during the Biden and Trump presidencies, the Israeli Defense Forces intentionally and systematically destroyed Palestinian people and their history and culture. The campaign involved mass killing, starvation, and destruction of infrastructure. In 2023, South Africa formally accused Israel with genocide in the International Court off Justice, a charge supported by numerous countries.
A leading Israeli human rights organization, B’Tselem, has charged the IDF with ethnic cleansing and a “forcible displacement” of Palestinians on a “huge scale.” B’Tselem warned that genocidal activity will expand to additional areas where Palestinians live under Israeli occupation, and currently we are witnessing examples of ethnic cleansing in the West Bank. Right-wing Israeli politicians are calling for expelling Palestinians from Israel itself, although they hold Israeli citizenship.
Trump and Netanyahu are now joined in a war against Iran that will punish Iranian women and children. Only days after British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said that his government would not cooperate in an offensive war against Iran, B-1 and B-52 bombers arrived at British airfields that appeared to represent the first stage in the “big hits” that Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth have been promising. Starmer is now saying that the U.S. Air Force can use British bases for “specific and limited defensive purposes.” There are no defensive purposes in this evil U.S.-Israeli war. Furthermore, Iran has no air defense.
Hannah Arendt warned that lies to the people “become the warrant for other lies.” Trump and Netanyahu are lying to their people, and there appears to be no end in sight.

While Israel cites wartime security concerns, Palestinians say the move is aimed at emptying the mosque and redefining access to one of Islam’s holiest sites.
Israel has banned Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque, citing the “security situation” amid the war with Iran, while Jewish Purim celebrations have been allowed to take place elsewhere in the city.
Palestinians accuse Israel of using the war as a pretext to empty Al-Aqsa Mosque of worshippers, particularly during Ramadan, when tens of thousands of people would normally gather at the site.
Aouni Bazbaz, director of international affairs at the Islamic Waqf, which administers Al-Aqsa Mosque, said the closure could have serious consequences.
“The continued closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque for a prolonged period, particularly at a time when signs of normal life are returning elsewhere, could carry risks and future consequences that cannot be ignored,” he told Middle East Eye.
Bazbaz warned that keeping the mosque closed for extended periods could “heighten tensions and public anger”, potentially affecting stability in the region.

There’s never been a legitimate explanation for:
-MASSIVE United & American Airlines stock sell offs days before the attack.
-Larry Silverstein taking out “terrorism insurance” on the Twin Towers weeks before the attack.
-Larry Silverstein & Howard Lutnick “missing work” for the only time in decades on that day.
-The collapse of Building 7.. which Larry Silverstein also owned.. and the contents within.
-How F-35’s at West Point did not intercept the hijacked aircraft before they reached Manhattan.
-What actually struck the Pentagon.. and the significance of WHERE it was struck.
What we do know for sure is this:
-No one encouraged or benefited more from the “War on Terror” than Israel.
-The “Dancing Israelis” when questioned said they were there to “witness the Big Event.”

BEIRUT, LEBANON—For several nights, Walaa Raya had barely slept. The 32-year-old lay awake in her home in the village of Tamnin Al-Tahta in eastern Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley, listening to the roar of warplanes and refreshing the news updates on her phone, waiting for the warning that might force her family to flee. Israel had dramatically escalated its war on Lebanon over the past week, and she feared that if she dozed off, she might miss a displacement order.
Shortly after midnight on Friday, the sounds overhead grew louder. Fighter jets and drones circled the sky, and soon Raya began hearing helicopters. Then came a strange popping noise that sounded like fireworks.
Confusion quickly spread through the village’s WhatsApp groups. Some messages claimed the helicopters belonged to the Lebanese Army and were evacuating wounded soldiers. Others warned that Israeli troops were attempting to invade the area.
Panic set in. Flares lit up the sky as the Lebanese Army responded to what it had identified as an Israeli military incursion. Moments later, the sound of fierce clashes broke through the night — bursts of gunfire followed by a wave of airstrikes. At around 2 a.m., the sky finally fell silent.
In the hours that followed, details of what transpired began to emerge.
Israeli forces had launched an operation on the nearby town of Nabi Chit with helicopters and ground troops that it claimed was to retrieve the remains of Israeli soldier Ron Arad, who disappeared in Lebanon four decades ago. Lebanese Army commander Rodolphe Haykal said in a statement that the Israeli commando unit involved in the operation disguised themselves in uniforms that resemble the Lebanese Army’s and moved through the area using ambulances marked with the insignia of Hezbollah’s Islamic Health Organization.
Hezbollah said in a statement its fighters “observed the infiltration of four Israeli enemy army helicopters from the Syrian direction.” Hezbollah fighters alongside local residents fought back against the Israeli incursion, engaging in a fierce gunbattle. Israeli troops were eventually forced to withdraw as warplanes and helicopter gunships fired 40 strikes on the area. At least 41 people were killed, including at least three Lebanese army soldiers and one member of the general security directorate, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency. The Israeli military reported no casualties.
Footage from a mass funeral the following day showed crowds weeping around dozens of coffins and raising their fists in defiance. Since the attack, Raya said residents of Tamnin Al-Tahta have begun leaving, fearing their village could be next.
“I lived through 2006 and I lived through the war in 2024, but the conditions today are harder than everything that happened in the past 25 years,” Raya told Drop Site News. She said she had purchased a plane ticket to Istanbul, where Lebanese citizens can stay for one month on a visa.
The raid on Nabi Chit was one of the deadliest attacks on Lebanon by the Israeli military since March 2, when it began heavily bombarding southern and eastern Lebanon, and the capital Beirut, in response to Hezbollah firing a barrage of rockets into Israel. The group said thestrike was meant to avenge the killing of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and respond to Israel’s continued attacks and occupation of territory in southern Lebanon.
