Dear Colleagues and Friends of CEIMSA,
Any ruling class rules at the “pleasure” of a pacified population. One radical question is: how does a tiny minority induce a vast majority of society to collaborate with its own domination? The answer to this question is compound and complex, but in Marxian theory “class consciousness” is an essential element to target if class collaboration is the goal, and unquestioned acceptance of the private profit motive is the perceived means to this end.
In the wider context, the many contradictions within the corporate capitalist economy provoke a “permanent revolutionary fervor” among certain elements in the ruling class, for whom the ends are used to justify the means: Thus, continual nationalist wars-without-end, constant population-control-drives; the production and distribution of ever more sophisticated weapons of mass destruction; the widespread distribution of toxic materials (including medicines) that increasingly poison the environment and our future generations; the endless lies and propaganda which glorify individualism, as the supreme value, and reduces any resistance or even criticism of private capital accumulation to a psychological disorder –all these methods and more are tried-and-proven tactics used by vested interests to dominate a large majority of the population and rule over their manufactured inequality.
The 26+ items below, most of which have been taken from critical Anglophone social media, are attempts to describe and to analyze the nature of human relationships in corporate capitalist society today. The alienation (e.g. “false consciousness”) which is created and reproduced in daily interactions build a “divided-self”, where our identity is conditioned not by traditions, nor by inherent political principles; but by the imposed commodity values projected by others. As we learn to groom ourselves to be acceptable to the status quo market place of “human resources,” we lose much of ourselves in the process. This self-censorship process is a basic part of the “pacification training” that goes on continuously for most of our lives.
The paradox is that in becoming “successful” (by today’s capitalist standards) we diminish the integrity of ourselves and the community in which we live: the more we win, the more we lose!

La quatrième journée nationale de mobilisation lycéenne et étudiante s'est achevée jeudi 8 octobre 2026 sur une participation en net recul, avec 71 500 manifestants recensés par le ministère de l'Intérieur, dont 24 500 à Paris, contre 256 000 mardi, les organisations de jeunesse avançant jusqu'à 130 000 participants. Dans la journée, 504 personnes ont été interpellées et 48 policiers et gendarmes ont été blessés. Le ministre de l'Éducation nationale Édouard Geffray a annoncé dans la soirée l'affectation de 3 000 professeurs remplaçants dans les établissements en difficulté. Les organisations lycéennes et étudiantes portent dix revendications communes: suppression de Parcoursup, plan d'urgence pour le bâti scolaire, recrutement massif de personnels, remplacement des enseignants absents, réduction des effectifs, qui atteignent 32 à 35 élèves dans certains établissements, embauche d'infirmières, d'assistants d'éducation et sociaux, allègement des emplois du temps. Né le 21 septembre au lycée Saint-Exupéry de Créteil, le mouvement dénonce un écart de moyens entre banlieue et centre-ville. Pour l'Union étudiante, Sabrine Kharbach affirme que la mobilisation continuera tant que dix milliards d'euros ne seront pas sur la table. Le ministère de l'Éducation nationale a recensé 375 lycées perturbés, dont 224 fermés, soit environ 10 % des 3 700 établissements et 30 % de moins que la veille. Le cortège parisien, parti à 15h de la Bastille, a été marqué par des tensions, les forces de l'ordre faisant usage de gaz lacrymogène et de canons à eau, la préfecture de police indiquant viser les profils à risque venus au contact. On September 18, 2025, massive demonstrations took place in Paris and numerous other French cities against the previous government's planned austerity measures. The backdrop was planned cuts totaling around €44 billion, which included cuts in healthcare, a weaker adjustment of pensions to inflation, and the abolition of public holidays. Although Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu has since retracted some of the most controversial points, the unions used the day to exert political pressure on the new government. A total of over 250 rallies took place across the country. According to the Interior Ministry, around 500,000 people participated, while the unions even put the number at more than one million. According to police, around 55,000 demonstrators gathered in Paris alone. The capital was at the center of a massive police operation. Several thousand officers were mobilized to monitor the protests and contain potential outbreaks of violence. Riots broke out along the demonstration route as early as the early afternoon, as small groups of demonstrators set fire to trash cans and erected barricades. Police responded with tear gas and rubber bullets. In isolated cases, shop windows were smashed and stores looted before police could intervene. During the course of the day, 103 people were arrested in Paris. Several people were injured.

Private messages show show Hamish De Bretton-Gordon, a top British pundit on the Salisbury poisoning incident, was a close associate of the MI6 officer who handled the Russian intelligence defector at the center of the scandal — and reaped considerable benefits from his proximity to the case.
This September, a former British Army officer named Hamish De Bretton-Gordon filed a column with the UK Telegraph complaining that “Russian bots” had “tried to make out that I’m part of a security service conspiracy.” Having shot to prominence as a media commentator on chemical and biological weapons after the alleged poisoning of turncoat Russian spy Sergei Skripal, De Bretton-Gordon dismissed accusations that he collaborated with UK intelligence as the product of the “Kremlin’s malign tactics.”

"What we saw yesterday was a prime example of why [ICE] is a terror to our communities, why it should not exist," says Avila Chevalier. She was among multiple people assaulted by officers with the NYPD unit that specializes in protest policing, known as the Strategic Response Group (SRG). Four others were arrested at Thursday evening's protest. Avila Chevalier, who was knocked down to the ground by officers, says, "This is why we also must demand that we get rid of and disband the SRG, because this type of response should have never happened for folks who were just simply trying to protect their neighbor." "I personally witnessed the NYPD escalating aggressively towards our community, barricading the community in … I also witnessed NYPD helping the ICE vehicles whisk away our neighbors and come in and out of the hospital," adds De La Rosa. October 7, 2026, marked the third anniversary of Hamas’s deadly attack on Israel. Considerable attention was devoted to commemorating that event in Israel and throughout the West. The focus was mainly on three questions: 1) What happened that day? 2) Why was Israel caught by surprise? 3) What have been the consequences of that momentous day? Much less attention was paid to a fundamental question: Why did Hamas launch the attack in the first place? Indeed, this relative neglect of the attack’s root causes has characterized much of the public discussion of October 7 from the beginning. Israel and its supporters, however, have a straightforward explanation. According to Prime Minister Netanyahu, Hamas and its allies are “the new Nazis,” and October 7 was an unprovoked attack that Israeli leaders and much of the Israeli public have repeatedly compared to the Holocaust. In other words, the attack is understood primarily as an expression of genocidal antisemitism. In this episode, I examine that explanation and argue that it is fundamentally mistaken. The historical record and a careful examination of Hamas’s motives point toward a very different story, which I believe is why Israel and its supporters have paid little attention to discussing the political and strategic calculations that led Hamas to attack Israel on October 7, 2023.

REINER FULLMICH SUBJECTED TO RUSHED AND UNEXPECTED PRISON TRANSFER
On October 8, 2026, Reiner Fuellmich was abruptly transferred from Bremervoerder to another prison (JVA Lingen) without prior notice being given to him, nor to his legal team, to whom he was denied a call at the time when he understood what was going on.
Instead of packing up his belongings, he was only permitted to grab the essentials: a toothbrush, two pairs of socks, two pairs of underwear and two T-shirts, all of which had to be put into a plastic trash bag.
The stated reason of this transfer was that there was no longer room for him in the unit for inmates serving definitive sentences.
On arrival at the new prison, however, Reiner was told: “what should we do with you? We have no empty cells to put you in”.
Reiner was transported handcuffed, in a caged van and the trip from Bremervörde to the Lingen prison took 7 long hours!
Because of over-crowding in the new prison JVA Lingen, Reiner was placed in a cold, dingy cellar cell, with an approximately 4 meter high ceiling containing a small window, which was opened, as the cell is mould infested.
Reiner is unfortunately not able to partake of his one-hour right to outdoor activity, since he does not have a change of adequate clothing.
Moreover, the groceries he had ordered at Bremervorder were delivered on Thursday afternoonand are now spoiling somewhere in his previous prison.
Instead of being released – something routinely conceded to inmates with no prior criminal record, who have served 2/3 of their sentence in good conduct, Reiner has been rapidly transferred to another prison and ‘coincidentally’ the transfer happened exactly when the Head of the Pre-trial detention unit at Bremervorder was on holiday.
Moreover, it also turned out that Bremervörde prison had at least one empty cell to which Reiner could have been transferred.
Reiners abrupt and unexpected transfer raises a number of questions:
Why was this unexpected and rushed transfer ordered?
Why wasn’t Reiner or his lawyers informed about it?
Why has Reiner been placed in a cold, dingy and mouldy cellar cell?
Under great stress, Reiner is not feeling well, and he has been complaining of a strong headache. He has been denied medical care.
Reiner’s cell is an unfit for use and poses a direct threat to his health. Why is this cell being used?
Reiner’s legal team has already filed motions requesting a suspension of the rest of his prison sentence on probation. They also requested his immediate transfer to another cell or, alternatively, that he should be transferred back to the Bremervörde Prison.
Reiner’s latest unexpected and unannounced prison transfer, coupled with incarceration in substandard prison cell accommodation is surprisingly similar to what happened when Reiner was transferred from Rosdorf to the Bremervörde prison. The similarity in events, methods and timing seems to suggest once again that Reiner’s continued incarceration and persecution is nothing but a deliberate continued political attack to silence a man who has taken the lid off Covid-19 vaccine and lock-down damage, perpetrated on the German and wider world population.
Please help us in spreading the word about the inhumane treatment to which Reiner is, once again, being subjected.
I would also like to remind you of how important your personal support for Reiner is, and the strength that your letters give him. Please do write to him at the address below. If you are also concerned at the treatment he is experiencing in prison, and at the hands of the German justice system, you may also wish to write to the appropriate authorities outlining those concerns. If you do this remember that short, factual and considered letters hold more power than those containing impolite and aggressive language. At the end of the day it is the volume of letters received which puts real pressure on the establishment; an establishment that appears determined that the truth of Covid-19 vaccine damage and lock-down harms should not be exposed. Israeli forces demolished between 50 and 80 homes and a mosque belonging to a Bedouin Palestinian clan on Monday, leaving about 250 people homeless.
The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported that the demolitions began late on Sunday near the southern city of Rahat after an Israeli court rejected a request to postpone the orders.
The newspaper reported that the Abu Wadi clan, who had lived in the area for decades, were forced to dismantle their own homes and had not been provided with alternative housing.
One resident described the experience of destroying his own home as "catastrophic, impossible to describe".

The front page of Tuesday’s New York Times was an old-fashioned newspaper scandal sheet. It reported that Elon Musk has already spent $366 million dollars in support of endangered Republicans in House and Senate races. Another story detailed that an arm of ICE was involved in executing a federal warrant calling for a search of the home of four-term Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar, who is sure to be re-elected in Minneapolis. A third tells of President Donald Trump double-crossing Ukraine, the United States, and NATO in the unending war between Ukraine and Russia by suspending sanctions on the sale of Russian diesel fuel at a time of a price spike in America.
The Republicans are facing a shellacking—no matter what the cost of diesel fuel may be—in next month’s election. The House is sure to go to the Democrats, and Republican control of the Senate is at high risk. The US war with Iran has turned into a quagmire.
And all the while the president carries on with his rallies, his meandering MAGA speeches and his never-ending efforts to use his office to make money. That part of the business is now handled largely by his son-in-law Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, a friend of Trump’s from the New York real estate scene. The two foreign-policy novices mix investment talk overseas with the pretense of being diplomats. They aren’t very unsuccessful diplomats.
I have turned in the past to the reportage of two former national security officials in Democratic administrations, Mark Medish and Joel McCleary, who have focused on the Trump excesses in an ongoing series of dispatches for the Washington Spectator, now flourishing as an online magazine of political journalism. The two won instant fans for what turned out to be prescient warnings that there were gaps in the Constitution that would allow a president facing election defeat to ward off a loss by reaching into what they wrote was “a deep reservoir of presidential [emergency] powers” that could change the outcome...
