Subject:  'Post-Modern' Warfare?

9 April 2015
Grenoble, France

Dear Colleagues and Friends of CEIMSA,

You are invited to attend with us two weeks from now the award-winning documentary film, Yugoslavia : The Avoidable War. This film will be shown on the Stendhal University campus in Grenoble on Thursday, April 23, in Amphitheater 9, beginning at 17h30. We encourage you to prepare for this important documentary, and the subsequent discussion, by looking at the 5 internet links below, which document the expansion of US-led state violence in the 21st Century.

Particularly interesting is Barbara Trent’s documentary, The Panama Deception (December 1989) which carefully documents the American invasion of Panama in 1989, and asserts that Panama served as a ‘military laboratory preparing for the wars of the future’. Will Ukraine be the next theater of full-scale military engagement?
