We
are writing this bulletin on the anniversary of the start of the Paris
commune, March 18, 1871, when an estimated 30,000 revolutionaries
were massacred by French troops on the streets of Paris, within eight
days - between May 21 and 28 - following the French defeat in the Franco Prussian
War.
Continuing
our reading of The
Creature of Jekyll Island, A Second Look at the Federal Reserve (1994,
2018), by G. Edward Griffin, we turn to Section 3, entitled "The
Alchemy", where in chapter 14, the author describes how the private
banking industry has historically profited from both sides in time of war.
Griffin cites Professor Antony C. Sutton’s book, The
Best Enemy Money Can Buy (1986, 2014), which argues:
The
guns, the ammunition, the weapons, the transportation systems that killed
Americans in Korea and Vietnam came from the American- subsidized economy of
the Soviet Union. The trucks that carried these weapons down the Ho Chi Minh
Trail were manufactured in American-built plants. The ships that carried the
supplies to Sihanoukville and Haiphong and later to
Angola and Nicaragua came from NATO allies and used propulsion systems that our
State Department could have kept out of Soviet hands. Sutton concludes:
‘The
technical capability to wage the Korean and Vietnamese wars originated on both
sides in Western, mainly American, technology, and the political
illusion of ‘peaceful trade’ promoted by the deaf mute blindmen
was the carrier for this war-making technology.’(pp.303-304)
Griffin goes on to cite Fareed Zakaria, the Managing Editor
of the Council of Foreign Relations Journal, Foreign Relations, who in 1996 wrote:
Yes, it’s tempting to get rid of Saddam. But his bad
behavior actually serves America’s purposes in the region. . . . If Saddam Hussein
did not exist, we would have to invent him.
. . . The end of Saddam Hussein would be the end of the anti-Saddam
coalition. Nothing destroys an alliance like the disappearance of the enemy. .
. . Maintaining a long-term American presence in the Gulf would be difficult in
the absence of a regional threat.(cited on p.304)
Griffin then concludes this chapter
with the following observation:
There are few
historians who would challenge the fact that the funding of World War I, World
War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War was accomplished by the Mandrake
Mechanism [i.e. creating money out of nothing] through the Federal Reserve
System. An overview of all wars since the establishment of the Bank of England
in 1694 suggests that most of them would have been greatly reduced in severity,
or perhaps not even fought at all, without fiat money. It is the ability
of governments to acquire money without direct taxation that makes modern
warfare possible, and a central bank has become the preferred method of
accomplishing that.
One can argue the
necessity or at least the inevitability, of fiat money in time of war as a
means of raw survival. That is the primal instinct of individuals and
governments, all other considerations aside. We shall leave that for the
philosophers. But there can be no debate over the fact that fiat money in
time of peace has no such justification. Furthermore, the ability of
governments and banking institutions to use fiat money to fund the wars of
other nations is a powerful temptation for them to become embroiled in those
wars for personal profit, political advancement, or other reasons which fall
far short of a moral justification for bloodshed.
The Federal
Reserve System has always served that function. The on-going strategy of
building up the military capabilities of America’s potential enemies leaves us
no reason to believe we have seen the last of war. Therefore, it is not an
exaggeration to say that the Federal Reserve System encourages war.
There can be not better reason for the Creature to be put to sleep.(p.305-306)
The 14 + items below provide information from current world events that
allow us to make judgments on the trends that are carrying us forward. The new
authoritarianism of political leadership can be seen as a desperate attempt to
maintain some semblance of legitimacy without challenging the fundamentals of
capitalist accumulation. It’s a magician’s trick destined to fail, but likely
to cause severe "collateral damage" before it's over.

The
fictional pandemic exercise titled Event 201 was a high level simulation
exercise that took place on October 18, 2019, at the Pierre luxury Hotel in
Manhattan NY. High-level global participants gathered to explore ideas as to
how to mitigate devastating worldwide economic and societal impacts that would
result from "a severe, highly transmissible intercontinental
outbreak". The exercise was built around a fictionalized CAPS virus, a
naturally occurring coronavirus (not unlike SARS or
MERS) which originated in bats, but for the fictional exercise, it had emerged
from pigs.
The event was held by
Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, in partnership with the World Economic
Forum and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Event 201 was by
invitation only, with media in attendance such as Bloomberg. Video and audio
recording were not permitted, rather, following the event, select high-quality
video and audio were made available to the press in attendance.
The sixteen high-level
participants included Ryan Morhard, Lead, Global
Health Security, International Organizations, and *IGWELS, World Economic
Forum, Chris Elias, President, Global Development division, Gates Foundation,
Tim Evans, Former Senior Director of Health, World Bank Group, and Avril Haines, Former Deputy Director, Central Intelligence
Agency; Former Deputy National Security Advisor.
[*IGWELS is an acronym
recognized to few outside the power elite – the "Informal Gatherings of
World Economic Leaders". These are the very top-tier closed meetings
"restricted to the likes of prime ministers, foreign and finance ministers
and central bank governors".]
Other high-level participants/experts included CEOs/ representatives of the UN Foundation, US Centre for Disease Control, Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Johnson & Johnson, ANZ Bank, Lufthansa Group Airlines, NBCUniversal Media, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, UPS Foundation, Edelman (one of the largest PR/marketing consultancy firms in the world, in fees/ revenue), Henry Schein, Inc. (a worldwide distributor of medical and dental supplies including vaccines, pharmaceuticals, financial services and equipment), Marriott, and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
A primary purpose for the
simulation was to illustrate the weakening of international alliances (and the
potential of collapsing Governments) – thus, putting forward a shared fervour to increase public-private partnerships. While the
high-level participants recognized the public sector as the front line of defence against pandemics, they highlighted their shared
position that the resources and strength/ability to respond exist/belong to
those in the private sector.
"Creating models such
as Event 201 takes more than a year of planning, and an investment of
"hundreds of thousands of dollars", [Ryan Morhard,

learned are invaluable."
Thirty days after the
October 18, 2019 simulation exercise, on November 17, 2019, the first
documented case of the coronas virus (COVID-19) is said to have appeared.

Logic dictates that the
simulation drill carried out on a fictitious corona virus global pandemic,
which was then declared a global pandemic on March 11, 2020 by the WHO, is a
drill worthy of both study and analysis. Of particular interest are the
discussions on how to control the messaging.
Here it is important to
note that also on March 11, 2020, the World Economic Forum announced a
partnered with the WHO (an UN agency) to form the
COVID-19 Action Platform – a task-force comprised of over 200 corporations at
launch. This is in addition to the World Economic Forum partnership with the
United Nations on June 13, 2019. The corporate world is capturing our real
world, in real time.

Governments love crises because when the people are fearful
they are more willing to give up freedoms for promises that the government will
take care of them. After 9/11, for example, Americans accepted the near-total
destruction of their civil liberties in the PATRIOT Act’s hollow promises of
security.
It is ironic to see the same Democrats who tried to impeach President Trump
last month for abuse of power demanding that the Administration grab more power
and authority in the name of fighting a virus that thus far has killed less
than 100 Americans.
Declaring a pandemic emergency on Friday, President Trump now claims the power
to quarantine individuals suspected of being infected by the virus and, as
Politico writes, “stop and seize any plane, train or automobile to stymie the
spread of contagious disease.” He can even call out the military to cordon off
a US city or state.
State and local authoritarians love panic as well. The mayor of Champaign,
Illinois, signed an executive order declaring the power to ban the sale of guns
and alcohol and cut off gas, water, or electricity to any citizen. The governor
of Ohio just essentially closed his entire state.
The chief fearmonger of the Trump Administration is
without a doubt Anthony Fauci, head of the National
Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the National Institutes of
Health. Fauci is all over the media, serving up
outright falsehoods to stir up even more panic. He testified to Congress that
the death rate for the coronavirus is ten times that
of the seasonal flu, a claim without any scientific basis.
On Face the Nation, Fauci did his best to further
damage an already tanking economy by stating, “Right now, personally, myself, I
wouldn’t go to a restaurant.” He has pushed for closing the entire country down
for 14 days.
Over what? A virus that has thus far
killed just over 5,000 worldwide and less than 100 in the United States?
By contrast, tuberculosis, an old disease not much discussed these days, killed
nearly 1.6 million people in 2017. Where’s the panic over this?

Epidemic Turns Into An Economic & Medical Catastrophe.
In 2018
I wrote about DISEASE X that the World Health Organization claimed was a
priority. An infectious disease expert said the world must prepared
for the next deadly flu pandemic that is predicted to kill 200 million and the
infectious disease industry needed $7.5 billion to prevent it. Well, they
never got paid off, so in mafia fashion, DISEASE X just arrived.
What just happened to
America?
I’m writing for many Americans who want someone to
cogently put into words to what Americans are experiencing and seeing with
their own eyes.
I recall as a young man peering at photos in Life
Magazine of Russian people standing in a long line for food, and there was
little or no meat beneath the refrigerated glass case. I read that by
scarcity of food, the people were controlled, kept from rebelling against their
government.
I woke up today, Monday, March 16, to the same
scarcity scenes I recalled from my youth. I wondered what America had
just become.
America is said to be facing a coronavirus
that is not as virulent or deadly than the seasonal influenza virus this flu
season, yet the nation is being placed in quarantine and the national guard is
said to be readying for “urban lockdown.” All this onerous social
and economic control over a worst-case scenario that predicts millions of coronavirus deaths in the U.S., which is not
likely to ever happen, that is, unless the sun doesn’t shine come spring.
Placement of sun lamps in elder-care
facilities would remedy a lot of excess disease in winter months, not just coronavirus. The idea of allowing disease to
infectious disease to occur, albeit only to result in mortal consequences in a
small segment of the population, and then enforce quarantines to halt the
spread of what amounts to “sun deprivation disease”
is a total misdirection in health care.
No need to hoard
The government cop-out is that there is no need to
hoard necessities. But tell that to people who have lived through similar
scenarios overseas. Order them to stay indoors for two weeks and just how
would they have enough necessities to survive without stocking up for what
initially was said was going to be an 8-week quarantine.
Going through the motions of a contrived viral
epidemic just for the sake of political posturing is the current state of our
polarized country. What will get a political party elected come November
reigns over what is the best course health-wise.

Nass has been working as a biowarfare
epidemiologist for over 30 years, doggedly—indeed, heroically—pursuing the
inconvenient truth about bioweapons and vaccine

electoral democracy, get
rid of cash, and otherwise establish absolute control by
the elites; but none of this means that the new coronavirus
is a fantasy.
Probably concocted in some bioweapons lab (most
likely in this country), COVID-19 is very real, and very
dangerous.
So
we must take the necessary precautions to protect ourselves and others,
doing what's required to halt the spread of this disease, which
is in many ways
unprecedented. ("It's the worst thing that I've ever
seen," Meryl told me.)

Israeli
forces invading Palestinian Territory have just killed a 15-year-old unarmed Palestinian boy. A sniper
shot him in the head with an expanding bullet. This is the 10,000th Palestinian
killed by an Israeli since the round of violence that began in fall 2000. The
boy was reportedly shot in the face.
During
the same period, Palestinians have killed 1,270 Israelis. See the list and
details on this Timeline of Israeli and Palestinian deaths.
Because
US media rarely
cover Palestinian deaths, while often emphasizing Israeli deaths, most Americans are unaware
that Israeli forces have killed far more people than Palestinian resistance
groups, and that Israel kills first in nearly all
cycles of violence.
If
the situation were reversed, and a Palestinian
military force invaded an Israeli town and shot a teenager in the head, it
would in all probability be front page news across the U.S.

As coronavirus panic grips
the world, concern over government overreach is growing given the involvement
of US intelligence agencies in classified meetings for planning the U.S.’ coronavirus response.
As the COVID-19 coronavirus crisis comes to dominate headlines, little
media attention has been given to the federal government’s decision to classify
top-level meetings on domestic coronavirus response
and lean heavily “behind the scenes” on U.S. intelligence and the Pentagon in
planning for an allegedly imminent explosion of cases.
The
classification of coronavirus planning meetings was
first covered by Reuters, which noted that the decision to
classify was “an unusual step that has restricted information and hampered
the U.S. government’s response to the contagion.” Reuters further
noted that the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS),
Alex Azar, and his chief of staff had “resisted” the
classification order, which was made in mid-January by the National Security
Council (NSC), led by Robert O’Brien — a longtime friend and colleague of his predecessor
John Bolton.
Following
this order, HHS officials with the appropriate security clearances held
meetings on coronavirus response at the department’s
Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF), which are facilities
“usually reserved for intelligence and military operations” and — in HHS’ case
— for responses to “biowarfare or chemical attacks.”
Several officials who spoke to Reuters noted that
the classification decision prevented key experts from participating in
meetings and slowed down the ability of HHS and the agencies it oversees,
including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), to respond to
the crisis by limiting participation and information sharing.
It
has since been speculated that the decision was made to prevent potential leaks
of information by stifling participation and that aspects of the planned
response would cause controversy if made public, especially given that the
decision to classify government meetings on coronavirus
response negatively impacted HHS’ ability to respond to the crisis.
After
the classification decision was made public, a subsequent report in Politico revealed
that not only is the National Security Council managing the federal
government’s overall response but that they are doing so in close coordination
with the U.S. intelligence community and the U.S. military. It states
specifically that “NSC officials have been coordinating behind the scenes with
the intelligence and defense communities to gauge the threat and prepare for
the possibility that the U.S. government will have to respond to much bigger
numbers—and soon.”

Fallout from
Covid-19 outbreak puts Beijing and Washington on a collision course
Among the myriad, earth-shattering geopolitical effects
of coronavirus, one is already graphically evident.
China has re-positioned itself. For the first time since the start of Deng
Xiaoping’s reforms in 1978, Beijing openly regards the US as a threat, as
stated a month ago by Foreign
Minister Wang Yi at the
Munich Security Conference during the peak of the fight against coronavirus.
Beijing is carefully, incrementally shaping the
narrative that, from the beginning of the coronovirus
attack, the leadership knew it was under a hybrid war attack. Xi’s terminology
is a major clue. He said, on the record, that this was war. And, as a
counter-attack, a “people’s war” had to be launched.
Moreover, he described
the virus as a demon or devil. Xi is a Confucianist.
Unlike some other ancient Chinese thinkers, Confucius was loath to discuss supernatural forces
and judgment in the afterlife. However, in a Chinese cultural context,
devil means “white devils” or “foreign devils”: guailo in Mandarin, gweilo in
Cantonese. This was Xi delivering a powerful statement in code.
When Zhao Lijian, a spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry,
voiced in an incandescent tweet the possibility that “it might be US Army who
brought the epidemic to Wuhan” – the first blast to this effect to come from a
top official – Beijing was sending up a trial balloon signaliing
that the gloves were finally off. Zhao Lijian made a
direct connection with the Military Games in Wuhan in October 2019, which
included a delegation of 300 US military.
He
directly quoted US CDC director Robert Redfield who, when asked last week
whether some deaths by coronavirus had been
discovered posthumously in the US, replied that “some cases have actually
been diagnosed this way in the US today.”
Zhao’s explosive conclusion is that Covid-19 was
already in effect in the US before being identified in Wuhan – due to the by
now fully documented inability of US to test and verify differences compared
with the flu.

KEY POINTS:
• Human trials on the new COVID-19 vaccine began March 16 in the U.S.
• The human trials began even as animal trials are underway
• This unorthodox approach, which might compromise both the safety and efficacy
of the new vaccine, is being questioned by biomedical ethicists
It's a risky gamble that will save thousands of lives if it pans out, but might
harm the health of those brave volunteers if it doesn't. The gamble also doesn't
seem to conform to accepted medical ethics:
"Standard clinical
trials of any new medicine require scientists first to test the vaccine on
animals (normally mice) to determine its safety and effectiveness. Only
after passing iterative tests in animal models can a candidate medicine
then be tested in human trials. This step has been dispensed with in the case
of mRNA-1273."
Now the above should tell
the entire story of the EVIL medical paradigm of today. For the sake of
vaccination, THEY are skipping accepted medical ethics, and placing human
scared volunteers at risk. At the same time, the system castigates those of us
who do therapies (proven safe) outside the mainstream. And, while they report
on the sensationalism of a vaccine, no mainstream outlet will give a safety
proven and likely effective therapy – oxidation – the time of day.
Just today I was told that a seasoned and respected reporter for a major New
York paper, who suddenly turned believer in oxidation therapy when a
non-healing wound on her foot healed for about 10 USD topical oxidation treatment, was refused her story on ozone therapy for corona
virus by every news outlet. They called it “fringe” science. Yet look at what Pharma’s “real” science has brought us in the past
generation – superbugs resistant to all antibiotics, millions addicted to
narcotics, children left immune cripples from corrupt vaccine studies, billions
wasted on worthless statin drugs, Vioxx
(which murdered tens of thousands), children hooked on mind altering drugs,
addictive antidepressants, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. Of course
the latter are not fringe science. Fringe science in 1491 would have been
suggesting that the world was round. No, I maintain that we have a system of
“fraud” science. Even mainstream medical journals, which will not touch ozone reports have admitted that up to 40% of what they publish is
outright fraud. Yet they still put it out, and deny a voice to the alternative.
Incidentally, the
reporter’s foot doctor praised her decision to go outside the box and lamented
that he just would.could not do it.
I’ve always said, follow the money trail. I hope this reporter will do a little
deeper digging. Perhaps she will discover that those in control of Pharma are the same who control the mass media. And, as a
result, we are literal prisoners in Brave New World of Pharma
with vaccines as the new “soma”, We are being “pharmed” by Pharma for profit.
And, as an aside, politicians and the media together are flaming irrational
fear and creating a situation where the melt down of the economy will likely
claim many fold more lives than simply letting the virus run its course. Will
the American people ever awaken from their stupor and throw off the tyrannical
corporate shackles?

que la pandémie de coronavirus a été annoncée par l'OMS le 13 mars 2020, le Syndicat de la Médecine
Générale (SMG) s'inquiète des
difficultés de notre système de santé à y faire face. La politique d'austérité et de destruction de nos services
publics rendra la tâche d'autant plus
difficile.
Depuis le début de
la crise sanitaire, l'Etat appelle à la
mobilisation de toutes et tous. Mais peut-on mobiliser davantage des soignant.e.s épuisé.e.s,
travaillant en sous-effectifs et se donnant à 150 % pour faire tourner un
hôpital abandonné des pouvoirs publics ? Peut-on protéger et soigner les
malades quand la politique est à la fermeture des lits ? Peut-on demander aux soignant.e.s de premiers recours, déjà débordé.e.s,
un effort supplémentaire alors que rien n'a été fait pour organiser un système
de santé solidaire cohérent sur le territoire ?
L'épidémie de
coronavirus survient après des mois de grève de soignant.e.s
hospitaliers qui veulent simplement des moyens pour faire leur travail. Ces soignant.e.s n'ont reçu que du mépris de la part du gouvernement.
Ce gouvernement,
qui mène ouvertement une politique ultralibérale et austéritaire,
notamment pour l'hôpital, aura sa part de responsabilité dans les conséquences
de l'épidémie qui s'annonce.
Nous, médecins
généralistes, professionnel.le.s de santé, usager.e.s nous nous mobilisons pour la santé de toutes et
tous et sommes solidaires de tou.te.s les soignant.e.s et acteur.trices du

Julian Assange’s
extradition hearing has had very little media coverage. Even The Guardian and The New
York Times barely mentioned it, though these newspapers made a fortune
publishing Assange-provided cables. Unless you had
been looking for it, you wouldn’t even know that on February 24 to 27, the
first stage of Assange’s extradition hearing was
being adjudicated in the secretive Woolwich Crown Court embedded within the
huge Belmarsh Prison nicknamed “British Gitmo”. Luckily for us, Ambassador Craig Murray, the
indomitable truth fighter, went there, waited in line for hours in the rain,
underwent searches and discomfort, and wrote an extensive
report (12,000 words) on this travesty of justice that went under the name
of a ‘trial’. His reports leave nothing out, from the threatening atmosphere to
the sinister legal arguments. He captured the menace and the abuse bordering
with public torture, and delivered it to the world, something that none of the
journalists on the payroll of the mass media had been allowed to do. Here are
some insights from his report in my free rendering augmented with other
sources.
The Court is designed with no other purpose than to
exclude the public, on an island accessible only through navigating a maze of
dual carriageways, the entire location and architecture of the building is
predicated on preventing public access. It is in truth just the sentencing wing

me preface this dire forecast, by a Goldman insider, with an email from Darwin

Manconi speculated that
some of the first deaths in Italy were presumed to have been caused
by
COVID-19:

suspect most of those cases were “presumed.” IMHO, this panic was manufactured
to 1) loot Western “markets” and treasuries;
2)
lock in vaccine eugenics and Pharma
as the dominant growth sector; 3) distress the poor, frail, and elderly to
early graves with
or without the
assistance of a new pathogen (the death rate will skyrocket from the loss of
security and acute uncertainty); and
4)
to attempt to force Russia and possibly Saudi Arabia
to their knees economically, by killing demand for petrol, which is also very
much the purpose of Operation Greta.
This
is a dreadful way to live. Most think their pensions went to money heaven. They
did not. They went to rich predators who shorted the
market to Hell, and they’re not even finished yet. ALL big moves are engineered
by market makers, and it's the epitome
of insider
trading. Many CEO’s were tipped off. Lots of rich sold their long positions and
went short. BTW, most Americans can’t join the party because you can’t use
fiduciary investments like trusts and retirement funds to go short.
In
coming years, we will find that Trump’s family and admin were short and that
the $.1.5 trillion pumped into the markets was injected
just to help sweeten the short sales. The looted wealth will go into their bitcoin accounts and into the next market the cartel wants
to juice, probably China.
This
is how people should live? Giving the world’s worst people all the wealth and
control? There’s really no other way things can turn out in a system like this.

Around the time
the Fed stunned markets with its 5pm Sunday emergency bazooka intervention,
Goldman was holding an emergency conference call in which some 1,500 clients
and companies dialed-in, making the comparisons to "Lehman Sunday"
especially apropos.
For those wondering what Goldman said,
here is the bottom line via TME:

50% of Americans will contract the virus (150m people)
as it's very communicable. This is on a par with the common cold (Rhinovirus)
of which there are about 200 strains and which the majority of Americans will
get 2-4 per year.
·
·
70% of Germany will contract it (58M people). This is the next
most relevant industrial economy to be effected.
·
·
Peak-virus is expected over the next eight weeks,
declining thereafter.
·
·
The virus appears to be concentrated in a band
between 30-50 degrees north latitude, meaning that like the common cold and
flu, it prefers cold weather. The coming summer in the northern
hemisphere should help. This is to say that the virus is likely seasonal.
·
·
Of those impacted 80% will be early-stage, 15%
mid-stage and 5% critical-stage. Early-stage symptoms are like the common
cold and mid-stage symptoms are like the flu; these are stay at home for two
weeks and rest. 5% will be critical and highly weighted towards the elderly.
·
·
Mortality rate on average of up to 2%, heavily
weight towards the elderly and immunocompromised;
meaning up to 3m people (150m*.02). In the US about 3m/yr die mostly
due to old age and disease, those two being highly correlated (as a percent
very few from accidents). There will be significant overlap, so this does not
mean 3m new deaths from the virus, it means elderly
people dying sooner due to respiratory issues. This may however stress the
healthcare system.

There is a debate as to how to address the virus
pre-vaccine. The US is tending towards quarantine. The UK is
tending towards allowing it to spread so that the population can develop a
natural immunity. Quarantine is likely to be ineffective and result in
significant economic damage but will slow the rate of transmission giving the
healthcare system more time to deal with the case load.

China’s economy has been largely impacted which has
affected raw materials and the global supply chain. It may take up
to six months for it to recover.
·
·
Global GDP growth rate will be the lowest in 30
years at around 2%.
·
·
S&P 500 will see a negative growth rate of -15%
to -20% for 2020 overall.
·
·
There
will be economic damage from the virus itself, but the real damage is driven
mostly by market psychology. Viruses have been with us forever. Stock markets
should fully recover in the 2nd half of the year.
·
·
In the past week there has been a conflating of the
impact of the virus with the developing oil price war between KSA and Russia. While reduced
energy prices are generally good for industrial economies, the US is now a
large energy exporter, so there has been a negative impact on the valuation of
the domestic energy sector. This will continue for some time as the Russians
are attempting to economically squeeze the American shale producers and the
Saudi’s are caught in the middle and do not want to further cede market share
to Russia or the US.

Technically the market generally has been looking
for a reason to reset after the longest bull market in history.
·
·
There
is NO systemic risk. No one is even talking about that. Governments are
intervening in the markets to stabilize them, and the private banking sector is
very well capitalized. It feels more like 9/11 than it does like 2008.

The United States has announced a new round of sanctions
against Iran as part of its so-called "maximum pressure" campaign
against the Islamic Republic.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo
said on Tuesday that Washington had blacklisted three Iranian entities for
engaging in what he called “significant transactions” to trade in Iranian
petrochemicals.
While he did not name any firms or individuals, Pompeo said the measure included blacklisting Iran’s armed
forces social security investment company and its director for investing in the
sanctioned entities.
In a separate statement, the US Commerce Department
also said it would boycott a number of entities, including five Iranian nuclear
scientists, for aiding Tehran’s nuclear program.

Amnesty International
on Wednesday rebuked Secretary of State Mike Pompeo
over new comments bashing the International Criminal Court and threatening
court staff—and their family members—investigating alleged war crimes committed
by United States forces in Afghanistan.
“Threats
against family members of ICC staff who are seeking justice is
a new low, even for this administration,” said Daniel Balson,
Amnesty International USA’s advocacy director.
Balson’s comments
came a day a press briefing in which Pompeo told reporters the ICC is “a so-called court which is
revealing itself to be a nakedly political body.”
In a
decision applauded by human rights advocates, the ICC announced earlier this month that the probe—which
includes alleged crimes committed at CIA black sites in Poland,
Lithuania, and Romania—could proceed after the court’s Pre-Trial Chamber
previously stopped its advancement. The prospect of that
probe bristled the Trump administration, which carried out what had previously appeared to be a
successful bullying attempt to quash the investigation.
With the
investigation now having a green light, Pompeo
renewed his vocal disdain for the court, calling it “an embarrassment.”
“As I said
the last time I stood before you, we oppose any effort by the ICC to exercise
jurisdiction over U.S. personnel,” Pompeo told
reporters. “We will not tolerate its inappropriate and unjust attempts to
investigate or prosecute Americans.”
Pompeo suggested
retaliatory actions would be in store.

The U.S. is insulting the Chinese media. It is
affecting both countries. My colleagues in Beijing believe, correctly, that
Washington should have tried to increase communication, not to bring it to a
halt.
Twist what is happening; reverse facts. That is what
the Western media does when “dealing with” China, Russia, Iran or several
“unfriendly” Latin American countries. It is an extremely old game, with roots
in the colonial era.
If you have monopoly on disseminating information to
all corners of the Planet, such cynical approach might actually work.
If only one person is allowed to talk, then what he
says could become, inevitably, the truth.
Washington loves to snap at “undemocratic nations”.
But the truth is, both the United States and the United Kingdom, in unison,
have managed to create a thoroughly and truly undemocratic global system of
governance, economic practices and “information” (in fact – disinformation).
Countries that defend their own people are painted
as “regimes”, even dictatorships. Their media outlets which are using simply
common logic are smeared as “propaganda” channels.
In summary, if you pay for “information” invented,
manufactured and refined in the U.S. and Europe, by the Western press agencies
and television networks, you will be just fine and get patted on the back. Especially if that information is helping to maintain global
political and economic dictatorship of the West. So, if you pay for
getting your people brainwashed and indoctrinated, you will be ranked high on
the various “freedom of information” indexes.

But be warned: if you tell the truth, or if you
expose Western lies, you will get smeared, insulted as a demagogue and an
undemocratic liar. That is what is happening right now to China. |
I am writing this commentary in Rio de Janeiro,
Brazil, a marvelous country now collapsing after having being lured into
fascism by local right-wing media, which has been trained and financed by the
Western mass-media outlets.
What is the background to dispute between the U.S.
and China?
In early February 2020, The Wall Street Journal published an article “China Is the Real Sick Man of Asia”.
It was an insulting piece, vulgar in many ways. Some saw it as racist. It was
taking advantage of pain Chinese people are experiencing due to the recent coronavirus epidemy, turning
medical emergency into a political issue. It is something that could be easily
defined as cheap journalism, and obvious propaganda. Stuff
that is often written on order, in both North America and Europe.
Indignant, Beijing took action against the
newspaper. Under circumstances, this was the most natural thing to do. But
instead of apologizing, Washington intensified war against the Chinese press.

This
report is the product of a collaboration between a
retired professional scientist with dozens of peer-reviewed publications and 30
years of experience in genomic sequencing and analysis, who worked at the
Theoretical Biology Division of the Los Alamos National Laboratory and later
helped design several ubiquitous bioinformatic
software tools, as well as a former NSA counterterrorism analyst. It considers
whether the Wuhan Strain of coronavirus (COVID-19) is
the result of naturally emergent mutations against the possibility that it may
be a bio-engineered strain – directly altered by genetic manipulation, subject to
artificially-guided evolutionary selection, or both – most likely
released into the public by accident since China’s rate of occupational accidents is about ten-times
higher than America’s, and some twenty-times more than Europe’s, the
only other regions with high-level virology labs.
Raising
the odds of an accidental release, researchers from China’s only BSL-4 lab in
Wuhan were reported to have particularly sloppy field research methods, being both bled and peed on by local bats that
host coronaviruses remarkably similar to the Wuhan
Strain COVID-19. And they’ve also been reported to smuggle used research
animals out of their labs, selling them for cash on the street. Perhaps
unsurprisingly, in mid February the Chinese Ministry of Science sent out a
directive to all its labs emphasizing the important of carefully handling
bio-infectious agents and alluding to slack oversight and past lapses.
Mistakes may have been precipitated by the need to quickly finish research that was being rushed for John Hopkins’ Event 201 which was held this past October and meant to gameplan the containment of a global pandemic. Research may also have been hurried due to deadlines before the impending Chinese New Year – the timing of these events point to increased human error, not a globalist conspiracy. Beijing has had four known accidental leaks of the SARS virus in recent years, so there is absolutely no reason to assume that this strain of coronavirus from Wuhan didn’t accidentally leak out as well. This is unlikely to be a plot twist in one of the novels Tom Clancy wrote after he started mailing it in.
