Dear Colleagues and Friends of CEIMSA,
The radical psychoanalyst
R.D. Laing had an eclectic worldview, which situated social class struggle in the
realm of individual perception and not objective political economy. His brand
of idealism, ebbing frequently into mysticism, was sometimes used by war resisters as a
heuristic device to test the political will of the ruling class during the
anti-Vietnam War period in the U.S. Today, Laing has much to teach us about
interpersonal perceptions and the politics of experience, but the understanding of contradictions embedded
in social class relationships – both objective and subjective – has evolved
since the 1960s, and today we are faced with the Schopenhaueresque
worldview of will and idea.
The growing morbidity around germ warfare and the 4-profit ruling-class appraoch to the "cure", spured me recently to dig into old
philosophical texts from my undergraduate liberal arts studies decades ago, and I came across an old coffee-stained paperback I once used, Outline-History of Philosophy (1968). In it I found an introductory
description of the classic work by Arthur Schopenhauer (1788-1860), The World as Will and Idea (1818), and his pessimism seems to match the
metaphysics of today’s neoliberalism (always keeping in mind
the Marxian tenet: "The ruling ideas of any era are nothing more than the dominant
ideas of the ruling class." To this 19th-century dictum we might add the following update : “no matter how incoherent and self-destructive these ruling-class ideas
might be.”
In Schopenhauer's idealist philospophy, there can be no object without a subject, and the "subject" he identifies as will.
The idea represents the sentient
experience, a phenomenal world known to us through our sense experiences which simply
mirror the will; while the will constitutes ultimate reality, the
essence of phenomena, (i.e. the ontologically real). The
will, which is knowable to us through immediate awareness (intuition), is perfectly
free in its action, but the phenomenal world of the idea is not free, but is governed
by necessity and follows a course prescribed by ‘four principles of sufficient
reason’: namely (1)a prioi
intuitions for cause; (2)the sense of logical explanation; (3)the assumed property
of occupying space and time; and (4)a dynamic motive of power behind every act.
In contrast to all ideas, which are thus controlled by laws, the will acts only
in complete freedom. Consequently, the
will cannot be rationally explained, nor does it respond to reason; it is motivated
solely by its own caprice. Furthermore, the will is permanent, whereas phenomena
are merely the transitory, overt manifestations of the will.(taken
from Outline-History of Philosophy (1968), William
S. Sahakian, pp.204-211)
Schopenhauer was a contemporary of Georg Hegel (1770-1831), and they taught at the same time at The University of Berlin, where Hegel's "rational opitmism" was immensely popular.
Schopenhauer went on to speculate as to whether “death serves as a diversion from life, or is life a
diversion from death?”
The 24 + items below present phenomena
that no sentient person can ignore. The current events of our day and their
representation in the Corporate Media affect our moods, our sentiments and our entire
behavior. Traditionally, active critical thinking and access to alternative views
serve to protect us from mental numbness and psychological abuse that monopoly
capitalism so generously dishes out to its consumers.
We can only hope that these assorted
articles and essays taken from the Social Media will free ceimsa
readers from blindly following the blind in their money-making schemes for private
enrichment, at great social cost.
Sincerely,
Francis Feeley

Kentucky judge strikes down ALL of Gov. Bashears'

Kentucky Judge Invalidates All of Governor Bashear’s State of Emergency Actions
Posted on June 8, 2021
Today
my colleague from Kentucky, Chris Wiest, received an
awesome ruling from the Circuit Court of Boone County declaring that all of
Governor Andy Bashear’s emergency orders and actions
are unconstitutional and void. The ruling was in the state-court challenge to
the governor’s emergency powers executive orders, filed by Wiest
on behalf of Beans Cafe’ & Bakery.
Dr.
Stephen Petty, an actual expert in masks, testified at the trial about their
uselessness under the circumstances in which they’re being idolized. Here’s an
excerpt from the order pertaining to Dr. Petty. For those bureaucrats and
social media tyrants who would censor this, this is from an actual court order
issued today. Not that you care:
Stephen
E. Petty, P.E., CIH, testified as an expert and was accepted as such without
objection. Mr. Petty has served as an expert witness in approximately 400 cases
relating to toxic or infectious exposure, personal protective equipment
(“PPE”), and as a warning expert. He also served as an epidemiology expert for
the plaintiffs in the Monsanto “Roundup” cases, and for those in the Dupont C8 litigation. In connection with his service as an
expert, he was deposed nearly 100 times and has provided court testimony in
approximately 20 trials. Mr. Petty holds nine U.S. patents, has written a book
comprising nearly 1,000 pages on forensics engineering, is a certified
industrial hygienist, and a recognized expert with the Occupational Safety and
Health Agency. Mr. Petty helped write the rules on risk assessment for the
State of Ohio and has trained Ohio’s risk assessors.

"I

the divine? by Mark Crispin Miller (08 Jun 2021 22:28 EDT)

There's a video floating around out there, which some people
think shows Bill Gates doing a PowerPoint presentation on a new "vaccine"
for immunizing people against religious fanaticism. That video has been much
debunked, which isn't hard to do, since, whoever that guy is, he's obviously
not Bill Gates.
But the technocratic itch to "cure" us of the
impulse to connect with any higher power—or any power higher than 5G—so that
we'll just comply as ordered by the Corporation, like efficient drones;
that impatient itch to kill the necessary sense that, while worldly
laws say one thing, those laid down by the gods, or God, say something else: that
Satanic itch can't be debunked, because it's clearly what Big Tech is
all about.
What's the antidote for those who feel they've somehow lost
their souls by getting "vaccinated"? And what punishment is grave
enough for those who would come up with such a project?
MCM
From Lila York:
One of the Pfizer volunteer test subjects said this after
getting the shots back in December:
"I can't feel God anymore."
I never forgot that.
The inventor of the Moderna
vaccine brags that they are reprogramming the immune system. like
a computer. What Martin is saying is that they are reprogramming humans to no
longer be human, but to only connect to 5G EMF waves. to
take instruction.
It is the most horrifying thing I have read.
David Martin
The jabs screw up the antenna of our chromosomes that
connect us to universal wisdom. They rob our humanity.
Well it turns out, that you do not have DNA. You have chromosomes. Nature made
chromosomes.
I am going to go out on a limb here for you. Chromosomes, being paramagnetic,
wound heli-coils of conductive material, are quite
possibly antenna. They’re quite possibly not chemistry at all.
And it turns out I’ve proven that in the lab.
If you wonder why the magnetic experiment that you’re going to hear about from
Dr. Carrie is so damn interesting, it’s NOT because of DNA, it’s NOT because of
RNA, it’s because they are putting an antenna into your body to screw up
the transmissions of all the wisdom of the cosmos so that you are detached from
being human.
And if you knew what it really was, it is a wound heliocol
antenna, it was an antenna that was made so that we
stayed in touch with our creation and creator. That’s what it was.
And in 1953 we defiled it. And we have spent billions of dollars describing
life through untied strings of a tapestry, and then mysteriously come to the
conclusion that 95% of DNA is just junk DNA.

On the show
this week, Chris Hedges discuss the Coronavirus with
investigative journalist and author, Nina Burleigh. "There are many ways
to begin to tell the story of why more Americans died of Covid-19, the disease
caused by SARS-CoV-2, than in any other nation on earth," Nina Burleigh
writes in her new book Virus: Vaccinations, the CDC and the Hijacking of
America's Response to the Pandemic. "We could start at the Washington, DC,
hospital with doctors amputating the lower leg of the White House chief of
security, a man who caught Covid in Donald Trump's
mask-free domain. Or we could talk to the families of forty-six veterans who
died within days of each other in a Veterans Administration nursing home in
Alabama. Or we could listen in on a therapy session with some of the New York
City medics struggling with PTSD after helplessly watching some of tens of
thousands of people die in a matter of weeks. Since the story involves mass
death, religious zealots, and the worst case of government malpractice in the
history of the United States, I'll chose the biblical opening: In the
beginning, there was the State. And the ideologues said, Let it Be Smashed. And so it was smashed."

Subject: Sheikh Jarrah
Last
Sunday, Israel arrested sibling activists Muna
and Mohammed El-Kurd for “disturbing the peace.” In other words, Israel
didn’t like their peaceful protesting and awareness-raising around Israel’s attempts
to forcibly remove Palestinian families from the Sheikh Jarrah
neighborhood of East Jerusalem. Muna has
an Instagram following of over 1.2 million and
Mohammed has a Twitter following of over 203 thousand Prior to
Israel’s recent 11-day massacre in Gaza, thanks to massive demonstrations and
international solidarity, the evictions of the El-Kurd and other families
from Sheik Jarrah were temporarily halted. But, now
that attention has waned, Israel is at it again. On Monday, Israeli
attorney general, Avichai Mendelblit,
informed the Supreme Court that he would not be intervening in the Sheikh Jarrah eviction cases, clearing the way for Israel’s
Supreme Court to issue its ruling in the coming days or weeks. There is
little chance the Supreme Court — one of many courts of injustice for
Palestinians — won’t uphold the lower court’s ruling to evict the families
from their homes. Here’s
what Israeli injustice looks like: Before the Nakba
(the 1948 ethnic cleansing of over 750,000 Palestinians to establish the
state of Israel), two Jewish trusts purchased a plot of land in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of East Jerusalem. During the ethnic
cleansing that established Israel, The Jewish families living there left for
West Jerusalem as that section of the city became part of the new state of
Israel and East Jerusalem came under Jordanian and UN control. In 1956,
Jordan and the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees resettled 28
Palestinian families who had been forced out of their homes inside the new
state of Israel into the Sheik Jarrah. In exchange
for giving up their rightful refugee status, the 28 families were to receive
ownership of the Sheikh Jarrah properties, but
surprise, surprise, they never got the deeds and now Israel claims that the
properties belonged to the Jewish trusts who later sold them to Nahalat Shimon, a real-estate company
registered in the US state of Delaware, whose mission is to remove
Palestinians from East Jerusalem and replace them with Jews. While
Israel is using prior Jewish land ownership to remove Palestinians from their
homes, they recognize no Palestinian right to return to the homes and lands
that were stolen from them in 1948. It’s not a real estate dispute. It’s naked settler-colonial ethnic cleansing
supported by the US. On May 10,
2021, State Department spokesperson Ned Price said, “We are also deeply
concerned about the potential eviction of Palestinian families in Sheikh Jarrah and Silwan neighborhoods
of Jerusalem, many of whom have lived in their homes for generations.” This
is a decent start, but it is far from enough. The US must ensure that its
assistance to Israel does not fund the Sheikh Jarrah
evictions! Meet
some of the Sheikh Jarrah families: The Skafi family lived in the West Jerusalem Baka
neighborhood for many many generations before they
were forcibly removed in 1948. In 1956, they were resettled in Sheikh Jarrah. Over the past few weeks, the young Skafi children have been refusing to attend school.
“They’re afraid that if they leave, they won’t have a home to come back to,”
said their 71-year-old grandfather. The
El-Kurd family was
forced from their home in Haifa in 1948 and eventually ended up in Sheikh Jarrah where Muna and her twin
brother Mohammed were born. In 2009, Jewish Israeli settlers took over half
of the El-Kurd home, claiming that they had owned the land before 1948.
Israeli courts allowed this and for the past 12 years, the US-registered
settler real estate company Nahalat Shimon has been
trying to force the family out of the other half of the house. As
Israeli forces took Muna El-Kurd away in handcuffs
last Sunday, her father spoke out: “Israel is fighting my daughter because
she tells the story of Sheikh Jarrah. She does not
behave violently toward anyone. The goal is to keep her quiet and to quiet
the voices of protest in the neighborhood.” The US
gives Israel $3.8 billion a year (possibly $4.8 billion for 2021) and is home
to the Nahalat Shimon settler real estate company.
So, the US has lots of leverage to tell Israel to stop the Sheik Jarrah evictions, as well as the evictions they are now
trying to carry out in other East Jerusalem neighborhoods. Sign the petition now! In
solidarity with all the Sheikh Jarrah
families, P.S. CODEPINK is introducing our very
new Palestine T-Shirts! Palestinians need your support now more than ever.

Proche-Orient, la déchirure
Al Qods, ciment du monde arabe
par Mohamed
Sid-Ahmed
nouvelles positions
qu’elles avaient occupées en Cisjordanie et ŕ Gaza ;
arręt des
ultimatums israéliens ; constitution d’une commission
internationale d’enquęte ;
question palestinienne, Jérusalem a des allures de
fouille n’a pu
confirmer.
corpus separatum ». Une telle formule aurait pu ętre acceptable
comme
solution intérimaire,
quand on évoque Jérusalem. Le sommet arabe du
Caire l’a montré.

Adieu Bibi ?
Tel-Aviv a
>> Palestine : chaque jour, l’apartheid
http://www.regards.fr/idees-culture/au-pied-du-mur/article/palestine-chaque-jour-l-apartheid)
bénéficient depuis quelques jours d’« anges gardiens »…

Take note, people: This issue is a canary in the coal mine for any activist voicing dissent. “First they came for the Capitol protesters . . .”
Please send this CAPP video far and wide. No one, not even conservative media, is shining a light on this grave Constitutional matter. We gotta make noise and let the world know we will not let the powers that be go Soviet on us!

“We have to stop it!”
The Fuellmich/McCullough interview
that broke the sound barrier
https://archives.simplelists.com/nfu/msg/16850467/
by Celia Farber
I don't believe
there's ever been a moment of such urgency; and that is not
hyperbole. The world has certainly
been wounded by catastrophe before,
but never by a
(man-made) global danger, all at once; and never in the guise
of a campaign to save us,
and save Nature, while actively destroying us, and
sterilizing her.
That comforting
disguise, with its kind mask, has made this worldwide
Holocaust
invisible—has had its victims clamoring to board that final
train, and have their children
either wiped out, too, or, should they survive,
incapable of procreation, while those
high above us, engineering this
catastrophe, have had as many children
as they like. The key to their
success (so far) at mass
extermination is that they have not relied
primarily on force, the way the
Bolsheviks and Nazis did, but, this time,
on mass hypnosis and seduction,
carried out primarily through
propaganda, which has us seeing our
killers as our rescuers.
We might call
them ravening wolves, disguised as sheep, except that
such old-fashioned creatures are
(unless we act) doomed, too, since
They no doubt
intend to kill the wolves, and other nasty quadrupeds,
along with us, while engineering
new and better "sheep."
”If
you said this is all a Gates Foundation program to reduce the population,
it’s fitting
very well with that hypothesis, right? The first wave was to kill the old
people by the respiratory infection,
the second wave
is to take the survivors and target the young people and sterilize them.”
“If you
notice the messaging in the country, in the United States, they’re not even
interested in old people now.
They want
the kids. They want the kids, kids, kids, kids kids! They’re such a focus on the kids.
We have to
stop it. And we have to see what’s behind it.”

Peru at the Brink of Civil War? The Uprising of the Dispossessed
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/56596.htm
by Peter Koenig
On 28 July
2021, Peru, with her 33 million inhabitants, celebrates 200 years of
Independence. The People of Peru may have chosen this Bicentennial celebration,
to bring about a drastic change to their foreign and national oligarchy-run
country. In a neck-on-neck national election run-off on 6 June 2021, the socialist
Pedro Castillo, a humble primary school professor from rural Cajamarca, a
Northern Peruvian Province, rich in mining resources, but also in agricultural
land, seems to be winning by a razor-thin margin of fewer than 100,000 votes
against the oligarch-supported Keiko Fujimori, daughter of former President
Alberto Fujimori, currently in prison – or rather house arrest for “ill-health”
– for corruption and crimes against humanity during his presidency 1990-2000.
Election
results have been considered as fair by the pro-US, pro-capitalist Organization
of American States (OAS). The same organization that
supported the post-election US-instigated coup against Evo
Morales in November 2019. Either they have learned a lesson of ethics,
or there were too many international observers watching over OAS’s election
observations. Or, as a third option, Washington may have yet a different agenda
for this part of their “backyard”.
Keiko
Fujimori, before becoming a Presidential candidate she was in prison under
preventive arrest, while under investigation into corruption and human rights
abuse. She is currently collecting millions from her ruling-class elite
supporters and spending her own ill-begotten money to turn the election result
around. Ten days after the elections, there has no definite result been
published yet. For Keiko becoming President is not
only a question of power, it is also a question of freedom under government
immunity, or back to prison, at least until the investigation into her alleged
crimes is completed.
All is
possible in a country where money buys everything and may convert clearly and
visibly intended cast votes either as invalid or as a vote for the opponent.
This is Peru, but to be sure, election fraud happens even in the most
sophisticated countries, including in Peru’s North American neighbor, which
pretends to run the world.

The DARK HISTORY of the SUPER BOWL
with reallygraceful
(12:05)
"The
Dark History of the Super Bowl" takes a deep dive into the origins of the
big game: The word “entertainment” can be traced back to old French and Latin
with its roots meaning “to hold” and “to keep someone in a certain frame of
mind”, and there’s no greater annual entertainment event that captivates the
masses quite like the “big game”. Professional football’s annual ritual, the
Super Bowl, has transformed from a mere championship game to an economic
juggernaut and cultural force, garnering more viewership than any measly
presidential debate. Every year, friends and family gather around the
television to watch the big game, the most die-hard fans cheering for the team
they view as an extension of themselves, and the most luke-warm
viewers just watching for the commercials. While this one moment a year serves
as the the most universal, shared cultural experience
across the United States, the masses are, by and large, unaware that it’s not
just a football game being played out on America’s greatest stage.

University Vaccine Mandates Violate Medical Ethics
College students aren’t guinea pigs.
https://www.wsj.com/articles/university-vaccine-mandates-violate-medical-ethics-11623689220
By Aaron Kheriaty and Gerard V. Bradley
June 14, 2021 12:47 pm ET
Some 450 U.S. colleges and universities—including our institutions—have announced policies mandating that all students be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 before the fall semester, with some requiring vaccination now for the summer term. Schools have for decades required vaccination against infectious diseases, but these mandates are unprecedented—and unethical. Never before have colleges insisted that students or employees receive an experimental vaccine as a condition of attendance or employment.
Even soldiers, whose rights are constrained when they join the service, aren’t being compelled to take a Covid vaccine. In a case involving a vaccine against anthrax, a federal district judge held in 2004 that “the United States cannot demand that members of the armed forces also serve as guinea pigs for experimental drugs” absent informed consent or a presidential waiver of service members’ legal protections. The following year the judge held that an emergency-use authorization from the Food and Drug Administration was insufficient to meet the legal test.
The FDA has issued such authorizations for three Covid vaccines, but it hasn’t fully approved any of them. Students at Notre Dame (for example) resume classes on Aug. 23, and freshmen arrive on campus Aug. 18. The Pfizer vaccine—first in line for approval—requires three weeks before the booster shot, so it would have to be approved by July 28 for students to meet the school’s deadline without making themselves experimental subjects. Pfizer applied to the FDA May 7 for “priority review,” a process that usually takes six months.
Universities might counter that—as with elementary schools requiring pediatric vaccinations—immunization is for students’ own good. But children can be at significant medical risks from the illnesses that we vaccinate them against, particularly when community vaccination rates are low. Not so with Covid. For those under 30, the risks of serious morbidity and mortality are close to zero. By contrast, early indications from passive surveillance systems (which call for follow-up investigation) and a June 10 review by the FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee indicated an excess risk for heart inflammation, especially in men 30 and younger.

Colleges’ vaccine mandates also ignore the huge number of students—thousands of them at Notre Dame—who have already recovered from Covid infection, and who thus possess natural immunity, which studies have suggested is more robust and durable than vaccine immunity. While vaccinating Covid-recovered patients might produce an antibody uptick, there is no epidemiological evidence that this improves relevant clinical outcomes like reinfection or transmissibility. Previous infection can easily be verified with the university’s own records of testing throughout the past school year, a positive viral test from another provider or an antibody test, which would prove either natural immunity or vaccination.
Forced vaccinations would also commandeer populations that were deliberately excluded from clinical trials, thus subjecting them to novel experimental risks. This includes not only patients who’ve recovered from Covid, but pregnant and breast-feeding women as well.
These coercive mandates violate basic principles of medical ethics. Even if the vaccines receive full FDA approval, no sensible understanding of herd immunity can justify forcing vaccinations on healthy young adults who are at minimal risk of hospitalization or death from Covid, especially those who already had Covid. We don’t immunize children against diseases that primarily harm the elderly in hope of reducing transmission risks for the elderly. That would use the recipients as a means to another end, which is unethical.
Consider the analogy of nontherapeutic research, from which the research subject doesn’t stand to benefit directly. The central canon of medical ethics in this situation is the free and informed consent of the research subject, as articulated in the Nuremberg Code and the Helsinki Declaration. Informed consent is likewise required for medical decisions in all adults of sound mind. This is arguably the most deeply rooted doctrine in contemporary medical ethics.
A person may freely choose to accept medical risks for the benefit of others, as when one donates a kidney for transplant. But there is no moral duty to do so. This is why we don’t harvest organs without consent, even if doing so would save many lives. Those who make such sacrifices for others must truly be volunteers, not conscripts drafted by college administrators.
University leaders might claim that vaccine mandates are necessary to make faculty, staff and students “feel safe” enough to reopen. That’s specious. Requiring the naturally immune to be vaccinated doesn’t make anyone actually safer. It is wrong to risk harming healthy people so that college can peddle a psychological placebo to those who don’t care enough to consider basic scientific facts.
We must maintain our integrity under pressure. It is precisely in dire situations, such as wars or pandemics, that we are most sorely tempted to abandon ethical principles. Authorities rushing to implement mandatory vaccination protocols are ignoring available scientific data, basic principles of immunology and elementary norms. Even if some sincerely think that these regimes are needed to open safely, that belief neither makes it so nor justifies coercive policies that steamroll fundamental liberties.
Dr. Kheriaty is a professor of psychiatry and director of the Medical Ethics Program at the University of California, Irvine. Mr. Bradley is a law professor at Notre Dame.

We both recently learned that Princeton’s classics department had ceased requiring its students to study Latin and Greek, and we reacted in predictable horror. A classics department without Latin and Greek is like a math department without multiplication and division, or an art department without paint. More than a thousand years ago, the monk Ælfric prefaced his Latin Grammar by saying it was “the key that unlocks the understanding of books.” I had a vision of a new generation of Princeton classicists, sniffing and thwacking at padlocked volumes of Thucydides or Cicero with looks of total incomprehension, like Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson trying to get the files “in the computer” in Zoolander.

NYU REturns
Requiring COVID-19 Vaccinations for All NYU Employees
Date:
June 15, 2021
To:
All NYU Employees, Faculty and Staff
From:
Katherine Fleming, Provost
Martin Dorph, Exec. Vice President
Carlo Ciotoli, MD, Exec. Lead, COVID-19 Prevention & Response Team
Sabrina Ellis, Vice President for Human Resources
Vaccinations — Safe, Effective, Free, and Much Needed
For our return to campus in fall 2021, vaccination is the single most effective tool we have to safeguard the health of the NYU community, enable us to lift restrictions, and restore the pre-COVID practices, rhythms, and unguarded interactions of campus life. With nearly 140 million Americans fully vaccinated — including at least 35,000 people that we know of so far in the University community — the vaccines have proven themselves to be very safe and highly effective.
A Requirement for NYU Faculty and Employees to be Vaccinated, and Accompanying Deadline
In mid-April, the University announced its intent to require students to be vaccinated before the fall semester, and has since been examining the issue of requiring it of faculty and employees as well.
NYU, like a number of major research universities, has decided to require all faculty (tenured, tenure-track, full-time contract, and adjunct) and employees working at its US campuses and locations to be fully vaccinated with an FDA-approved or WHO-listed vaccine, and to have uploaded proof of vaccination by August 1, 2021.
Given the University’s aim to have high rates of vaccination among its community members by the time the fall semester starts, the current ample availability of vaccination appointments, and the schedule most schools and offices have for the gradual ramp-up of employees as we move toward fall, August 1 seems an appropriate, reasonable date.
We will have in place an exemption process for those with valid reasons such as qualifying medical conditions or religious beliefs. We will also be making provisions for an excused absence for those who feel unwell the day after being vaccinated.
Our Responsibilities to One Another
Many in our community have already been vaccinated; back in the first months of 2021, the questions we confronted most often from faculty and employees were how and how quickly we could connect them to vaccinations.
However, we know that others in our community will have lingering unease about being vaccinated for a variety of reasons, notwithstanding the overwhelming weight of evidence demonstrating vaccination’s benefits, safety, and effectiveness.
We want to be sensitive to those concerns. Nonetheless, we think that universal vaccination is essential to the health of the NYU community — and the neighborhoods and city around us — as well as to the success of the 2021-22 academic year. Perhaps even more importantly, we all need to do our part to help keep each other safe, and getting vaccinated is vital to that.
And so, we are calling on your good will, your appreciation for the weight of scientific evidence and the best counsel of public health figures, and your sense of responsibility to one another as members of this community.
For those who have already been vaccinated, it is important that you upload proof of vaccination as soon as you receive the final dose of your vaccine. That upload will mean you will no longer have to test regularly or quarantine if you are a close contact with someone who is infected with COVID-19 (reminder: these changes come when you are fully vaccinated, meaning two weeks after your final dose of vaccine). It will also give us important data for making public health decisions with respect to our campus.
For those of you who have been planning to get vaccinated but haven’t quite gotten around to it yet, now would be the time. The University provides 4 hours off to be vaccinated (and we can be more accommodating if need be, including allowing an excused absence if you feel ill the day after your vaccination). And there are abundant opportunities (through resources such as this site for NYC, this site for NYS, this site for CT, and this site for NJ) to make a vaccination appointment.
And for those of you who have been trying to decide whether or not to get vaccinated: we need you to please now join with tens of thousands of your fellow NYUers in taking the most important step we can at this time to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
In order to maintain a high level of health safety for the entire community, those who are unvaccinated will be required to test frequently, will have to continue to take their temperature daily and answer all questions on the Daily Screener, and will likely have to continue to wear masks in University settings.
In the coming weeks, we will hold a webinar on the vaccination requirement to surface and address the questions you may have, including questions about the exemptions process. In addition, we will write again soon with additional details.

Article 1 | DGHS Hatchet Chops Ivermectin Nationally While Positioning Unproven Tocilizumab Despite Success of Uttar Pradesh—How will ICMR & AIMS Weigh In?
In India it appears that as quickly as select national health authorities included ivermectin in the national guidelines, so too, has the recommendation just as been rescinded despite what appears to be tremendous success in states such as Uttar Pradesh.
Article 2 | After $356M in Federal Funds in Dec, Merck Secures $1.2B Federal Commitment to Buy its Experimental Drug Upon Key Milestones
In an interesting case that has some suggesting brilliant corporate enterprising business prowess while critics suggest it is an example of crony capitalism on display… Merck has recently announced it secured a $1.2 billion public commitment for up to $1.7 million courses of its still experimental antiviral drug Molnupiravir to the United States government.
The Federal government is funding the development of an expensive alternative to ivermectin. They are guaranteeing 1.2 Billion dollars to fund payment for treatments. This drug will probably receive emergency use authorization. What do you think Merck will charge? $4000 per treatment? Ivermectin is only about $3 per treatment. I believe this is the reason that any news of the success of Ivermectin is being challenged. So not only does our government fund the development of expensive pharmaceutical drugs (when cheaper, safer, more effective drugs already exist), but it also provides over a billion dollars to guarantee a market for these drugs. Unbelievable!
And people believe it when Merck claims that ivermectin is unproven and unsafe. Do they know that Merck has a huge conflict of interest?!!!

This piece by Project Veritas illuminates exactly how "our
free press" maintains, and protects, the propaganda narrative, regardless of whatever harm the latter does its targets, or what those targets (We the People) want to know. We see how that narrative is not imposed overtly, but tacitly—unless you err by contradicting it, in which case they'll stomp all over you.
Kudos to Ivory Hecker for her journalistic principles. I only wish we had a real news operation going here, since if we did I'd hire her in a heartbeat.
And, as well, kudos to Project Veritas for doing this great piece. (It's going to be a problem for some people on "the left," since they hate James O'Keefe, and yet in this case he's going after Fox, which paradox might make their heads explode.)

Empire of Clowns vs. Yellow Peril
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/56589.htm
by Pepe Escobar
Global South
will be unimpressed by new B3W infrastructure scheme funded by private Western
interests out for short-term profit.
It requires
major suspension of disbelief to consider the G7, the self-described
democracy’s most exclusive club, as relevant to the Raging
Twenties. Real life dictates that even accounting for the inbuilt
structural inequality of the current world system the G7’s economic output
barely registers as 30% of the global total.
Cornwall was
at best an embarrassing spectacle – complete with a mediocrity troupe
impersonating “leaders” posing for masked elbow bump photo ops while on a
private party with the 95-year-old Queen of England, everyone was maskless and merrily mingling about in an apotheosis of
“shared values” and “human rights”.
Quarantine
on arrival, masks enforced 24/7 and social distancing of course is only for the
plebs.
The G7
final communique is the proverbial ocean littered
with platitudes and promises. But it does contain a few nuggets. Starting with
‘Build Back Better’ – or B3 – showing up in the title.
B3 is now official code for both The
Great Reset and the New Green Deal.
Then there’s
the Yellow Peril remixed, with the “our values” shock troops “calling on China
to respect human rights and fundamental freedoms” with a special emphasis on
Xinjiang and Hong Kong.
The story
behind it was confirmed to me by a EU diplomatic
source, a realist (yes, there are some in Brussels).

Report
from DC rally, June 19, to demand the freedom of over 400 Capitol
"rioters" languishing in jail without bail
LONG
WRITE-UP, FRIENDS – WORTH READING
I
attended a rally, Saturday, June 19, by Look Ahead America to protest the
unconstitutional holding of over 400 people arrested at the Capitol on January
6. These men, many veterans, are still being held almost half a year later
without bail, mostly in solitary confinement, some incommunicado, on absurdly
exaggerated charges (e.g., “trespassing,” “parading”).
Only
about 50 people attended the 6/19 DC rally, but then again, this is the very
first rally to so much as publicly protest the treatment of these persecuted
citizens. Elizabeth Warren has spoken out a bit. Not even Donald Trump for whom the protesters came to Washington on January
6 to support, is publicly calling for help for these bona fide political
prisoners.
Aptly
timed is the recent release of whistleblower information reporting -- surprise,
surprise -- the FBI was involved in the planning, infiltration, and execution
of the fake, ginned-up Capitol “insurrection.”
The Deep State goal was to create a propaganda platform that promulgates
the fiction that dangerous “domestic terrorists” are among us. Besides a Trump impeachment, all manner of
dirty tricks could profit from an official “insurrectionist” narrative. Like we
didn’t know that was hidden in there somewhere.
BOTTOM
LINE, PEOPLE – The fate of these 400+ prisoners directly affects ALL
Americans. The current powers that
be are hellbent on eviscerating all of our
constitutional rights, freedoms, liberties, and political dissent. These prisoners are the canaries in the coal
mine.
With
the liberal left’s shocking alliance with the FBI and the CIA (yes, really!!),
they do not yet grok that they, too, will eventually
be in the totalitarian crosshairs. That’s how authoritarian systems work. With
all due respect (because since teething they were my tribe), the left has

On "emanating love," whereby we WILL prevail by Mark Crispin Miller (18 Jun 2021 20:56 EDT)

A beautiful comment, by Toby Russell, on Celia Farber's "If We Only Have Love," which I sent out yesterday.

Emanating Love
In Times of Horror
Jun 18
“These people know full well their careers are over, but they do it anyway.” And possibly worse than losing their careers; seeing old bonds of family and friendship reduced to antipathy. For this true courage they are called “selfish”, “egotistical”, etc. That this calibre of attack finds fertile soil in the general population is an unequivocal sign of mass hysteria magicked to fever pitch by people who know what they do, but lack the wisdom and compassion to really KNOW what they do. Should they ‘succeed’, what world do they imagine their children will inherit? They cannot succeed. Love and Life are the stronger forces. This is a global object lesson in hubris, loveless ambition, the bitterness of cowardly compliance and valuing mere social status above all other things. It is Goethe’s Sorcerer’s Apprentice writ large, become a conflagration of the vanities. I am shocked, too often to count, by how violently invested people are in hateful fear, in wilful ignorance. Finding my way to a loving response is extremely difficult, especially because there’s very little one can do with it but wait. And watch on in (seemingly) impotent horror. The hysterical mob has to exhaust itself, spend its fury, run its course. I suppose it was always going to go this way; how else can humanity learn what it needs to learn? And yet this mob has been deliberately coaxed into being: a crime against humanity. Or is it a crime of humanity against itself? Free will is sacred. Knowing this is one part of what can be the sorrow of love. And even though free will has been manipulated and deceived by those few who seek to impose theirs over everyone else’s – at the expense of the innocent! – even though righteous anger feels so strongly like the right response, when we love we emanate love, and that is vital. For whatever reason, it dawned on me sometime during my early thirties that love must be unconditional to be love. Something about that realisation put me on a particularly moral path that has, it seems, triggered all manner of personal object lessons as fate relentlessly, lovingly, disavowed me of my delusions of grandeur, my vanities, insecurities, and much else besides. It is a continuing process. One truth that has been almost crow-barred into me is that love has no object. “I love you” is not, strictly speaking, a logically tenable utterance. “I am love”, though grand, is closer, or perhaps simply, “I love”. Love opens loving connections between self and others that give rise to the “I love you” feeling, which is so wonderful to speak. Love arises naturally when we clear ourselves of our emotional-psychological muck. If we think of the soul as a tuning fork, it cannot sing unless it is naked, uncluttered, clean. When it sings, it just sings. Its song has no object; it is an emanation, the natural state of a truly healthy soul. That state is the way out of this horror, because this horror is the natural consequence of turning away from love, away from God, and pursuing vanities, greeds, selfish appetites. Every one of us can dedicate ourselves humbly to this extraordinary undoing towards love. It is exactly as painful as our resistance to its lessons is fierce. As Pema Chodron put it: “Nothing ever goes away until it teaches us what we need to know.”

A confidentiality agreement shows potential coronavirus vaccine candidates were transferred from Moderna to the University of North Carolina in 2019, nineteen days prior to the emergence of the alleged Covid-19 causing virus in Wuhan, China.
The confidentially agreement which can be viewed here states that providers ‘Moderna’ alongside the ‘National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases’ (NIAID) agreed to tranfer ‘mRNA coronavirus vaccine candidates’ developed and jointly-owned by NIAID and Moderna to recipients ‘The Universisty of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’ on the 12th December 2019.

Here is the analytical article I’ve been promising forever (with huge thanks to Mary Otto-Chang who pointed me in this direction and who has been researching this topic for a while.)
Before I go into the article…. I can really use some kindness and unfortunately, I need to do another fundraiser. Anyone who is already donating to me, thank you from the bottom of my heart! If you can donate something, or monthly, you will make my day big time.
This story is about happytalism. Due to the vast amount of information, this is part one of the series.
“Happytalism” is a very tricky word that hasn’t gotten much attention yet—but we may start hearing about it shortly.
It’s a branding term that sweetly refers to the same transhumanist framework of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the Great Reset (where real estate ownership is concentrated, where living beings are reduced to “digital twins” managed through the blockchain, and where we “own nothing” and eat bugs).
“Happytalism” is a piece of marketing language that lives together with “green and sustainable development,” “racial equity,” “inclusivity, “climate justice,” “building back better,” and so on.
Speaking of bugs, I can’t resist. [Click on the link for the rest.]

Who Is A “Terrorist” In Biden’s America?
Posted on June 18, 2021 AuthorWhitney WebbComment(0)
https://www.thelastamericanvagabond.com/who-is-a-terrorist-in-bidens-america/
Far from being a war against “white supremacy,” the Biden administration’s new “domestic terror” strategy clearly targets primarily those who oppose US government overreach and those who oppose capitalism and/or globalization.
In the latest sign that the US government’s War on Domestic Terror is growing in scope and scale, the White House on Tuesday revealed the nation’s first ever government-wide strategy for confronting domestic terrorism. While cloaked in language about stemming racially motivated violence, the strategy places those deemed “anti-government” or “anti-authority” on a par with racist extremists and charts out policies that could easily be abused to silence or even criminalize online criticism of the government.
Even more disturbing is the call to essentially fuse intelligence agencies, law enforcement, Silicon Valley, and “community” and “faith-based” organizations such as the Anti-Defamation League, as well as unspecified foreign governments, as partners in this “war,” which the strategy makes clear will rely heavily on a pre-crime orientation focused largely on what is said on social media and encrypted platforms. Though the strategy claims that the government will “shield free speech and civil liberties” in implementing this policy, its contents reveal that it is poised to gut both.
Indeed, while framed publicly as chiefly targeting “right-wing white supremacists,” the strategy itself makes it clear that the government does not plan to focus on the Right but instead will pursue “domestic terrorists” in “an ideologically neutral, threat-driven manner,” as the law “makes no distinction based on political view—left, right or center.” It also states that a key goal of this strategic framework is to ensure “that there is simply no governmental tolerance . . . of violence as an acceptable mode of seeking political or social change,” regardless of a perpetrator’s political affiliation.
Considering that the main cheerleaders for the War on Domestic Terror exist mainly in establishment left circles, such individuals should rethink their support for this new policy given that the above statements could easily come to encompass Black Lives Matter–related protests, such as those that transpired last summer, depending on which political party is in power.
Once the new infrastructure is in place, it will remain there and will be open to the same abuses perpetrated by both political parties in the US during the lengthy War on Terror following September 11, 2001. The history of this new “domestic terror” policy, including its origins in the Trump administration, makes this clear.

That nickname is no joke. (Gossip warning:)
They say that Margaret Trudeau, a free and easy spirit,
did the deed with Fidel Castro; which, from the look of
it, is true: Justin looks a lot more like Fidel than like his
alleged dad, Pierre Trudeau.
And his topdown style of governance also looks a lot
more like Fidel's than like that of any democratic head
of state—though, unlike Castro, Trudeau is just another
globalist sock puppet, following a script; nor would
Castro have partnered with Big Pharma to reduce the
numbers of his people. (These days I would much rather
live in Cuba than in Canada, just as I'd rather live in
Nicaragua than in Australia or New Zealand.)
In any case, they need—we need—a revolution up in
Canada, and elsewhere in what once was called "the
free world," eh?

Ed Curtin's excellent summation of what's really going on.
What I Know and Don’t Know about SARS-CoV-2 Virus
June 19, 2021
by Ed Curtin
http://edwardcurtin.com/what-i-know-and-dont-know-about-sars-cov-2-virus/
After fifteen months of assiduous reading, study, observation, and research, I have come to some conclusions about what is called COVID-19. I would like to emphasize that I have done this work obsessively since it seemed so important. I have consulted information and arguments across all media, corporate and alternative, academic, medical, books, etc. I have consulted with researchers around the world. I have read the websites of the CDC, the World Health Organization, and government and non-government health organizations. In other words, I have left no stone unturned, despite the overt or covert political leanings of the sources. I have done this as a sociologist and writer, not as a medical doctor, although many of my sources have been medical doctors and medical studies.
My succinct conclusions follow without links to sources since I am not trying to persuade anyone of anything but just stating for the public record what I have concluded. Life is short. I am going to say it now.
I know that vast numbers of people have been hypnotized by fear, threats, and bribes to accept the corporate mainstream media’s version of COVID-19. I have concluded that many millions are moving in a trance state and do not know this. They have been induced into this state by a well-organized, very sophisticated propaganda campaign that has drawn on the human fear of death and disease. Those behind this have no doubt studied the high incidence of hypochondriasis in the general population and the fear of an invisible “virus” in societies where belief in God and the spiritual invisible has been replaced by faith in science. Knowing their audience well, they have concocted a campaign of fear and confusion to induce obedience.Click on the link for the rest
Getting jabbed is SO much fun! "Vaccine" propaganda from Down Under by Mark Crispin Miller (19 Jun 2021 13:12 EDT)

These two chuckleheads were already seriously brain-damaged
before they got their shots.
Note her statement that they got their shots, not so they themselves
might be immune to COVID-19 from now on, but out of "responsibility
to the community"—the collectivist point of all the COVID-19 "vaccine"
propaganda everywhere: "I'm doing it, so you have to do it, too (or
it won't work)."
That's how they've been pushing masks—and all the pious maskers
bought it, staying far away from any unmasked person, as if their
masks don't work, unless you're also wearing one—and it's how they're
now pushing the injections all this year.
It's a kind of voodoo, no doubt derived from many hours of market
research, and God knows whatever other dark investigations They
have funded, to figure out precisely which lie might work best; and
since it tends to be the "educated" liberal masses that are most
susceptible to any seeming-altruistic pitch, it's they who've fallen
hardest for this democidal "vaccination" scam, which is now killing
countless people, even as its champions keep yammering that it's
the right thing to do, for everybody's sake.
Thus the world feels more and more like Jonestown, on the day
it ended.
