• Objectifs

Ce Centre a pour objet d'inspirer de nouvelles recherches sur des sujets relatifs à l'impact de la société américaine sur le monde contemporain. Les jeunes américanistes de l'Université de Grenoble auront la possibilité d'échanger leurs vues avec des chercheurs confirmés qui travaillent sur des sujets similaires dans d'autres universités de France et des États-Unis, du fait qu'ils collecteront de l'information, solliciteront des commentaires et engendreront de nouvelles analyses sur l'impact des institutions et des mouvements sociaux américains sur les diverses communautés dans le monde.

• Mission Statement

The purpose of this Research Center is to inspire new scholarship on subjects pertaining to the impact of American society on the contemporary world. By gathering information, soliciting commentary, and generating new analyses on the influence American social movements and institutions are having on communities around the world, advanced students of American Studies at the University of Grenoble will have the opportunity to exchange their views with scholars working on similar subjects at universities elsewhere in France and in the United States.
